  1. OK, but that doesn't really answer my question. Which "comedians" posted these images? And they still have jobs? And how is this "MUCH worse" -- it's nearly the exact same thing.
  2. I really think the statement speaks for itself as abhorrent and is not a political statement. What's much worse that's been said about President Trump? Do you have examples?
  3. Never like to see someone (essentially) fired but I have avoided reading either of these guys for years.
  4. She compared a black woman to an ape. That's not a political view.
  5. I think his skin is very difficult to penetrate. Remember in the fight with Iron Man, Iron Man could only nick Thanos's face despite using all his capabilities. I don't think they had the ability to saw his arm off.
  6. totally agree -- they're not all A+ but a lot of them are very good and i think that it's more fun for the viewer when you get combinations like Dr. Strange/Spiderman or Thor/Rocket Raccoon that you haven't seen before if you're familiar with their own movies. Yeah i think under 10 years old is going to be too much to take. Loki gets the life choked out of him and they show his lifeless eyes in the first 10 minutes -- not to mention Spiderman's particularly excruciating pleas to Stark could be too much for younger kids. Although i don't have any kids so maybe they're more desensitized these days.
  7. I think Hawkeye is still out there too. I was thinking afterwards how many movies you would have need to seen in advance to have even the most basic plot comprehension. For example, I just caught Thor 3 only a week or so before seeing IW and I'm really glad I did, otherwise I would have had no clue what the hell was going on in the first scene. I'm thinking the following will get you basic plot comprehension: Avengers 1 and 2; Thor 3; Guardians 1; and Captain America 3. I think that would give you enough of a sense of the infinity stones mythos, and the basic relationships and dynamics between the characters, so you could follow the plot.
  8. This movie was excellent and is the only movie I have ever seen in theaters that I am seriously contemplating buying another ticket for. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but I thought it rocked, paid off and referenced so many big and small things from all the previous 17(!) MCU movies, and I have no idea where they are taking it for the finale next year (other than the appearance of Captain Marvel -- that better be one hell of a movie/character if she factors big into Avengers 4). My guess is that the new Ant-man movie and exploring the microverse will probably play a significant part, and I've seen some io9 comments about potential time travel. That seems possible with the use of the time stone if they can somehow get it back, but I hope they don't overdo it. Time travel does not seem to really "fit" the MCU. I am really happy they didn't axe Cap or Iron Man before they got a chance to reconcile after the events of CA: Civil War. This was the exact right amount of Dr. Strange IMO and I liked his immediate disdain for Stark. The Thor/Guardians stuff was really funny and they actually made me invested in the fate of the Guardians (I don't dislike those movies, but I never rewatch them). Bummed Loki is probably gone forever because I thought he was a great villain/anti-hero but his number was up after double-crossing Thor a million times. Would've liked a bit more Black Panther and his crew since that movie was so great but I'm guessing IW was in the can by the time Black Panther blew up so they didn't know he would become so popular. I wonder who (if anyone) is going to team up with Thanos for the next one since his whole crew was killed, or if he just goes solo. The gauntlet looked charred and probably no longer usable so maybe he's not as powerful? Or I could be reading too much into that.
  9. Because his dad gave them to him after police had confiscated those weapons and then returned them (???) to his dad.
  10. Yeah I agree. You may be able to wait until 6-7 for your guy, but you'll be left with Jackson or Rudolph if you wait til 12.
  11. Man, from Smallville to the Big House. I'll show myself out....
  12. My wife and I will be there! Got our tix to the LA Bills Backers event.
  13. You're the one who has twice now made false assumptions about me, and started on the ad hominems, and I look foolish? And you can't even keep your false assumptions straight -- was the leftist brainwashing the racist thing, or the treason thing? Get your story straight.
  14. Try again genius. My feelings have nothing to do with "American leftism." I am not a "leftist" or liberal or democrat. My view is based on their actions. Thankful that we have such enlightened folks like you telling others how foolish we all look.
  15. I never said it was racist. It's a flag of treason against this great nation. It's insulting as an American to see it. But you don't hear me crying about it. We give people the right to express themselves even if it is support for !@#$ing loser traitors. But I also have the freedom to laugh at ****heads like you who make excuses and defend those !@#$s.
  16. So there's nothing to be concerned about at all. Every dead, unarmed person just doesn't listen too well, regardless of race.
  17. Really cause there's a whole thread about Chicago in PPP and I think I've seen the "statistics" on this put in every PPP thread in the last 48 hours.
  18. ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahhaahahahahahahahahahahahha
  19. The culture wars I'm talking about go way back before Obama....
