  1. Let me get this straight, the guy who Bill Cowher (the one coach almost this entire board revered as the savior of the franchise) picks Gailey to be his successor in Pittsburgh, and when we hire him the entire board views the move as terrible? If you hate the move so much, than you must believe that Bill Cowher is overrated for hyping up a terrible coach. Therefore, you should not want him as our HC.
  2. Did i ever say a dozen? St. Louis Detroit Tampa Bay K.C. Cleveland Oakland Chicago Seattle All those teams have arguably worse rosters than the Buffalo Bills. In fact, there is enough talent on this team to make the playoffs, if we get even average QB play. It seems selective-amnesia is running rampant among Bills fans. Everyone forgets that you can count the number of times the Bills were blown out, the last few years, on one hand. This team could easily be competitive with: a decent QB a serviceable LT a replacement for Stroud and depth
  3. I'm renewing mine. Why is hiring Chan Gailey a big deal? We brought in a GM from San Diego, so it only makes sense Nix would try and emulate the situation there.
  4. Guess who else hired a retread coach who hadn't proven he was deserving of another head coaching opportunity. San Diego, the same organization our GM comes from.
  5. There are quite a few teams in the league that would be worse off if it was a healthy 53 vs a healthy 53.
  6. I don't know, but the Bills don't have the worst roster in football.
  7. Chan Gailey = Norv Turner
  8. Just remember that AJ Smith hired Norv Turner. If a GM does his job, and assembles the right personnel, any coach can win.
  9. There are quite a few facebook applications that are going around that download key loggers and spy ware to your computer.
  10. Maybin was 5 years younger than Gaines Adams.
  11. Maybe because Billick isn't a very good coach?
  12. Because Billick couldn't coach himself out of a paper bag.
  13. Marshawn Lynch stole $20 from me too.
  14. It's because Billick isn't a very good coach.
  15. If you can pick him up in the middle rounds, why not? We could use him at H-Back or TE.
  16. There is no way that would happen. SOA is FX's biggest show, and they are making WAAAAY too much money off it to let it go.
  17. Billick had one of the best LTs to ever play the game, and between 1999 and 2007, the Ravens spent 6 out of their 10 first round picks on offensive players. He never could develop a QB despite having players such as Todd Heap, Jamal Lewis, and Jonathan Ogden. Kyle Boller was also taken against his GMs wishes. Sure sounds to me like Billick !@#$ed up the offense.
  18. They rejected Billick because he is not a very good coach. If not for Ozzie Newsome's defense, he would have been far below .500 with the Ravens. He was brought in from the Vikings as an offensive guru, but failed to get Baltimore's offense above 14th in NINE years. He was even given control over drafting offensive personnel, and drafted Kyle Boller even though Ozzie Newsome did not want him. Furthermore, he completely lost control of his locker room before he was fired, and players were openly criticizing his ineptness. He's better than Jauron, but that's not saying much.
  19. Attach a chainsaw to the limb he just recently chopped off, because it had become infested with evil from the Necronomicon?
  20. A source tells me Jim Kelly talked Bill Cowher today and will be on the news at 5pm.. Oh, that source is Julie Fine and its Chan 7 @thurmanthomas Jim Kelly is supposed to speak about Cowher on Channel 7 today at 5pm newscast. http://twitter.com/PatrickMoranBSD
  21. That analogy would work if there were established winning coaches willing to come to Buffalo.
  22. Yes, any coordinator we hire will automatically result in a lost decade Where do people come up with this stuff?
  23. Holmgren isn't the GM of the Browns.
  24. The only good experienced coaches out there are Cowher and Marty.
