  1. And what if Troupe becomes the Jamal Williams of our defense? Clausen was a 2nd round pick, and its ridiculous to berate us for not drafting him, as i didn't hear you crying when the Bills passed on other 2nd round QBs in previous years. You would have a point if Bradford slipped to 9 and we passed on him.
  2. It's a simple concept. Spiller is fast enough that the offensive line doesn't have to sustain holes as long. Anyone who studies the game (Nix) would know this. Holes in the NFL close in tenths of a second, and hitting it fast and hard really helps out your line.
  3. So we should have drafted what QB at #9?
  4. I understand the term precedent, however the two situations are very different, and I miss-interpreted your comment. I thought you were saying that it should be on the national forefront, but were implying that it won't be.
  5. If the Obama administration truly said that they would give Sestak a job for the sole purpose of getting him not to run for office, then that is a violation of the law. That is what Sestak is claiming.
  6. There is a huge difference between not raiding medical dispensaries and accepting the full blown legalization of marijuana. Also, if you don't think that legal marijuana will be all over the media come November, then you are wrong. Do you honestly think that El Rushbo, Hannity, Olbermann, O'Reilly, Maddow, etc.. will not be talking about the issue?
  7. With the California bill coming out ahead in the polls (if only slightly), and legalization having a healthy 10 point lead over prohibition in Colorado (according to a Rasmussen poll), the question then becomes... What will the Obama administration do if California and/or Colorado legalize marijuana? I can't imagine the DEA would be able to do anything to control the flood of marijuana that will be unleashed, as local and state law enforcement make up the bulk of the current enforcement. This issue will definitely be on the national forefront come November. It will be extremely interesting to see what the Obama administration does.
  8. The Buffalo News is reporting that Maybin was the starter at OLB. They specifically say that Ellis was on the 2nd team defense. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/billboard/201...-be-first-.html
  9. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/05/25...test=latestnews It's definitely a situation that warrants further investigation. A high paying job could certainly be considered a bribe by any objective person, so there is definitely potential for the law to have been broken.
  10. It's because our society has reached the level that it is no longer profitable for workers in this country to make our goods.
  11. This is awful for the owners. If they were considered one entity, then it would be impossible for the union to claim collusion.
  12. How about this: THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS AN ASSAULT WEAPON. But Calderon is right in one respect, the US is completely destroying Mexico. Our demand for drugs is too great for a poor country like Mexico to control all their cartels.
  13. I expect Donald Jones to make the team, as the Bills scouts seem to like him a lot.
  14. I'd rather have Luck than Locker. Luck is a far more polished passer, but isn't nearly as athletic. Pocket passers win in the NFL, and Luck is the best of the 3.
  15. Meth is a prescription drug, which means that it can (and is) be used in other ways than feeding an addiction.
  16. You can still want someone badly and not select them in a high round. You could think a player is far above everyone else left on the board, or a player could just fit your scheme and have good upside. If the Giants were telling him he was going to be selected with their next pick that says a lot. It tells me that Moats was at the top of their board at that time. Not to mention that if the Falcons were willing to trade future draft picks for him, then you know that they thought highly of him.
  17. http://blogblitz.nfl.com/buffalo-bills/ent...nterview_arthur It's hard to criticize the pick if solid organizations like Atlanta and New York wanted him badly.
  18. Meth is a treatment for ADHD and obesity. So yes, people use meth without being junkies. Your family doctor could write you a prescription for the same drug sold on the streets.
  19. My God!!! Adults using Marijuana?!?!?!
  20. Bell is extremely talented, and that is the only reason he is on the roster.
  21. Merriman is a shadow of his former self. His knee injuries have deprived him of his ability to drop into coverage, and have severely hampered his explosiveness.
  22. Update per PFT: UPDATE: We've confirmed that the Bills are indeed interested, and we can add a little bit to Schefter's report. The Bills want him bad. That is all.
  23. Can people stop bitching about QB now?
