  1. Because the Constitution is essentially the most liberal document upon which any government was built, because it states that the government draws its power from the citizenry, empowering people over the government. This type of individual liberty is most present in the modern Libertarian party philosophy. True liberalism is about empowering individuals, but today's liberals are just left-wing statists who use the authority of government to suppress anything of which they disapprove. In fact, the modern Democrat party are incrementally turning into socialist-fascists.
  2. Rick James.
  3. I found that as the debates wore on, I liked Christie more and more, despite that he's still what I would consider to be 'establishment'.
  4. And in her case, it's worth the repeat.
  5. The country is most definitely moving to the left, and has been doing so incrementally for a very long time.
  6. An understandable mistake, but the Texas Air National Guard don't employ any aircraft capable of interstellar travel. Now, the Johnson Space Center on the other hand...
  7. Roger Clinton was in Pumpkinhead 2. Were any of the Bush clan? I think not.
  8. That's just it - they're not the most liberal party. The Libertarians are. The Democrat party is the most leftist party. There's a difference.
  9. Big deal. GW did that, and his wife is a lot better looking.
  10. I see a job opportunity for Jimmy Johnson.
  11. He's just prejudiced against bad hair, and frustrated over his inability to repress his liver spot fetish.
  12. Actually, what I'm really saying is that I prefer to have a president with a weird swoop-like hairdo over one with a bald head covered in liver spots. How do you not see that? What do you have against people with bizarre hair? Are you an elitist or something? That really says a lot about your value set. Pretty lame.
  13. The only thing that bothers me is your continued presumption of what positions I do or don't take, especially when based upon an entirely hypothetical question asked by birdog. I give you credit for the persistence you display in reiterating your complete lack of understanding, but I've grown so accustomed to it that it's not even an annoyance anymore. I'll throw you a bone on this one - pay very close attention to an abbreviated version of what I said: I'll always support a capitalist over a socialist. Let it sink in for a minute or two, reread it if necessary. Now, what in that statement relates in any way to healthcare or Nazis?
  14. That's Johnny Depp?! Holy crap - I'm about eight minutes in and it's hysterical!
  15. My position is that I'd rather vote for an egomaniacal capitalist than a lunatic socialist. Why is that so difficult to understand? Did you somehow miss that the first time? The premise of the thread is "what if....NH primary winners meet in the general election", but for some unfathomably idiotic reason you start talking about Nazis and health care. I swear, I'd call you a bonehead but that would be an insult to calcium everywhere.
  16. I didn't say that. Nobody did. Here's what was said - try to pay attention:
  17. You're consistent. You never miss an opportunity to say something really, really freakin' stupid, pajama boy.
  18. Why do you think I should be ignoring you? Every time you respond to me, you make me laugh. It's a net gain for me every time.
  19. Trump - I'll take an egomaniacal capitalist over a lunatic socialist any day.
  20. Fetuses do not have little mustaches....
  21. Actually, both my occupation and my degree are science-based. What've you got besides recycled plagiarisms and platitudes?
  22. Ignoring you is like ignoring the Yorkie nipping at everyone's ankles for 20 minutes before he vomits on the carpet. And you're simply passing along an opinion that fits your political worldview. You and science are 100% divorced from each other. If you knew anything about science at all, you'd know that scientific theories never become conclusive via majority vote.
