  1. Does anyone else buy that he was winded? I wouldn't be surprised if it's more coverup by the coaching staff - they've been hiding injuries all season. The announcers commented that CV was out for the last 2-3 drives of the game. Nobody's winded that long... Maybe I'm just in denial, but something doesn't sound right to me. CW
  2. I only see 8... http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/drivechart?gameId=250925002 CW
  3. I could live with 0-3 if I knew we had a good OL that was going to start dominating the game... But we don't, and they won't, so I'd rather be 2-1 with anyone (or 3-0 with anyone). CW
  4. Well with fans like you, the Bills are set.
  5. You can't bench your QB after three games. JPL is the best QB on the roster, and you play your best players. CW
  6. I hope you're right. CW
  7. Actually I'd conclude OL, based on your comments. But coaching may have something to do with it as well. I'm not ready to conclude that we have bad coaches yet though. The OL, IMHO, is well documented. CW
  8. Is that why we went 9-3 at the end of last year? And I thought you were going to send me Lost in HD? Apparantly the microwave dinged before you had a chance to actually COMPREHEND what I've been saying. I'll break it down into simpler terms for you: DB = good QB JPL = possibly good QB? Our OL = terrible = DB and JPL looking terrible CW
  9. You honestly don't think we would've won with Bledsoe in there today? Drew's #1 strength (that NOBODY can argue with) is that he's great at the long ball. We threw deep a lot, and they were all terrible throws. One of those is on target, and we either score or flip field position. Neither QB would've beaten Tampa in all liklihood. But JPL had time to throw deep in the beginning of the game, and I bet that Bledsoe would've hit some. Regardless of whether he would've or not, you can't guarantee that we wouldn't be 2-1 right now, and to call someone NUTS for a contrary opinion is rather shallow-minded. (I would've watched the Patriots/Steelers game, but it wasn't on in HD here -- my OTA antenna isn't up yet ). CW
  10. Like 8 yard rushes for TDs? Oh wait, that was the other QB today... Sorry. CW
  11. So you're admitting that the problems over the last three years had little to do with the QB, and more to do with the OL...? Game doesn't mean anything??? Please explain how a conference win doesn't mean anything to the Cowboys? Please? CW
  12. Right, just like JP can pick apart a Falcons defense that had two of their starters not even in the NFL two weeks ago? CW
  13. And guess what? JPL has been sacked more than Bledsoe has this year... (7 for JPL, 6 for DB). Also, DB had more passing yards today than Losman has had all season... But don't worry, our OL is doing a bang up job! CW
  14. All those sacks? You mean the two less than JPL took? It's kinda sad that Bledsoe has more net yards passing with ONE pass than Losman had net yards ALL GAME... I figured people here would realize that maybe it wasn't the QB afterall... I guess not. CW
  15. I thought this thread was going to say something like: "Pretty soon, one of those JPL passes WILL be intercepted for a TD; the defenders can't drop 'em all!!!" CW
  16. Don't worry about it -- when you play Buffalo, we won't be able to take advantage of that. CW

  19. ATJPL -- "Anything but JPL!" CW
  20. Possibly (all QBs miss 'em), but everyone complained that DB locked in to Moulds all the time, so it stands to reason that he would've found him for the TD CW
  21. Overall, I still like MM. However, I do think we should've gone for 2 on our TD... Not that it would've mattered I guess, but I still would've gone for it there. CW
  22. Difference between this DB pass and many of JPLs passes? The Bucaneers, Texans, and Falcons can't catch their INTs. My point is that it's NOT the QB. You'd think that people would be smart enough to see the following trend: Jim Kelly (in the mid-90s): Terrible looking Todd Collins: Terrible looking AVP: Terrible looking RJ: Terrible looking DF: A few good games, but a lot of terrible looking games DB: Some good games, but a lot of terrible looking games JPL: Very terrible looking What's the lowest common denominator? We have no OL. EDIT: Bledsoe has more yards passing on the last two plays than JPL did all game. But our problem is definately the QB. EDIT2: DB rebounded from his INT by leading a huge drive with a TD pass at the end. And guess what? He had some time to throw. CW
  23. Right, when we won with DB in there, it was "everyone but Drew" giving us the win. When we lose without Drew, it's because "everyone except JPL" and/or "JPL will get better." We weren't far off from winning this game. A few balls thrown on target and we probably would've won. CW
