  1. Fair enough. For the record, I posted that we should stick with JPL as well. We're on the same side, really!!! CW
  2. Don't waste your time going to NF. It's a dump (unless you're going to Canada). I'm qualified to say that because it's my hometown. Most of my relatives still live there. Home cooking is the only reason I go back. CW
  3. I'd like to know how YOU can know what will happen based on THREE GAMES as well. It's a two-way street, and if we could only talk about things that are black and white, there wouldn't be anything to post about... (except babes in the OT forum ) CW
  4. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=31388
  5. Maybe we need a "Word of the Day" in the OT forums. CW
  6. I personally prefer (and frequently use) the word perplexed... CW
  7. But we don't know if they think the way we do or not. We're just fans, and the way we think has no bearing on the game at all... CW
  8. The problem is that there aren't many great ones out there. CW
  9. One of my coworkers is from there. Apparantly, you can buy legal DVDs for about $2/each. The illegal ones are about $1/eacy. What does this have to do with anything? Nothing, but it's better than rehashing "JP vs Kelly vs Lienhart" or "OL vs DL vs Spikes." CW
  10. I'd rather keep JPL and trade the pick away for either players and/or more picks, some of which need to be dominant OL. CW
  11. To make you happy, I'll break it down into yards/season: Testeverde: 2470.83 Bledsoe: 3127.54 Little bit of difference there. I like how the requirements keep getting steeper and steeper. First it was, "He'll be sacked 100 times." When that didn't happen (JPL has been sacked more than Bledsoe this season), it was, "He needs to win against a good opponent on the road!" When the Cowboys beat the Chargers, it's now, "He has to beat a quality opponent on the road late in the season." Why not modify it to say, "He has to beat a quality opponent on the road late in the season with a broken arm and a patch over one eye?" The same thing happened in Buffalo last year. "He can't win on the road." "He can't win on the road against a good opponent." "He can't win on the road on the west coast." Blah blah blh. There's more to football than just the QB. OL comes to mind. CW
  12. Yeah, WM tripping on nothing was sad... He put a devestating block on someone -- flipped the guy in the air, very cool. I've always been a proponent of WMs blocking abilities. CW
  13. You can pretty much take any of the bits ("We played terribly in phase X") and apply it unilaterally to the entire team (except McGahee). Sad CW
  14. You could try reading the threads here... Or go to http://www.twobillsdrive.com and read the articles there. CW
  15. That's what I thought at first, but looking at the replays, he was trying to get Vincent to slide his coverage over (as others have said). In hindsight, he SHOULD have called timeout. I'm sure the Falcons saw the confusion and snapped quickly to take advantage. CW
  16. I think the plays you're talking about were after the long bombs. It's not atypical for receivers t come out for a play or two after running 50-60 yards downfield. CW
  17. It means the equipment manager screwed up at the beginning of the game and gave Willis the wrong shoes/cleats. CW
  18. I was in favor of going for two. That said, you're right. Look at the Dallas game, for example. They missed a PAT so went for two on their next TD and missed that. At the end of the game they had to go for two AGAIN, in order to go up by 3. If they had just kicked the PAT (assuming their kicker made it...), they would've just had to kick the PAT at the end of the game to go up by 3. Not as sexy, but much safer. CW
  19. Since BM has been forever intertwined with MW, I figured I'd post this: http://www.startribune.com/stories/510/5635081.html CW
  20. The hands to the head one was stupid; even if Vick hadn't thrown the ball, it would've been a flag. You can't go that high on a QB. The first personal foul was a bad call, in my opinion. Not that it really ended up mattering I guess. CW
  21. Is that your shortest post ever?
  22. I'd be more interested in seeing the top 10 OL prospects... CW
  23. Three straight 300 yard games? No. Three straight 100 yard games? That would've been nice... But as I've been saying all along (this goes back to your apparant lack of reading comprehension), the #1 problem with the team is the OL, not the QB. Bledsoe handled it better (by getting more than 35 net yards passing) because of his experience. With a near-rookie playing behind the line, we're seeing the problem magnified. CW
  24. The lack of reading comprehension around here is amazing. CW
  25. Our QB had 35 net yards passing yesterday... I think I prefer the QB sneak play. CW
