  1. Then again I'll ask, why didn't they call false start on the Steelers on 4th and 1?
  2. If that were true, they would've called the false start against Pitt on their first 4th and inches...
  3. Maybe they're making up for not calling the false start on the Steelers earlier? I agree though, bad call. CW
  4. Sure did. That was pretty unbelievable. The spot was pretty terrible on the sneak as well. CW
  5. Yeah, but when a Bills player questions anything our coaches say, fans around here say, "They're just the players! They need to shutup and do what they're told!!!" People can't have it both ways. CW
  6. He's a Vampire AND a former wrestler! CW
  7. http://www.startribune.com/484/story/180038.html http://www.startribune.com/587/story/178289.html http://www.jonathonforgovernor.us/Home_page.html No wonder I moved across the border into Wisconsin. CW
  8. Yeah, that could do it to anyone... I'd still say Kelly isn't a playoff choker. Yeah, he probably partied more than he shoul've before the Superbowls. But he did get there four times, so he can't be considered a playoff choker IMHO.
  9. Kelly was a post-season choker...? Now you've officially lost it, JSP. CW
  10. Not sure how USC would keep Bush out of the draft, even if the Texans said they were trading the pick, but hey. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/draft06/news/story?id=2293458 CW
  11. Apparantly you live in a rosy world too.
  12. I guess he didn't want the player as much as you do. When you're GM, you can trade away 4 first rounders to get the player you want, k? To attack TD for not trading up is just ridiculous. I'm sure you can find better things to attack.
  13. No, but you can't blame him for not being able to trade up for a player you wanted, especially when it was reported that he DID want to trade up but couldn't find anyone to trade with. CW
  14. You're letting JSP's reality get in the way.
  15. Funny, didn't realize Buffalo had a shot at him. Oh wait, we didn't. PS: There was an incomplete pass on the drive, so it wasn't perfect.
  16. It's good to have you back, Gina!
  17. Thanks. I might look into getting one of those.
  18. No, we don't. Thanks for asking.
  19. Actually, people in Tampa seem to generally disagree with that (if the papers are to believed, anyway). It was the first (and only?) time the Bucs had won when the temperature was below 40 degrees. Can't remember if that was the only one he won or not though. If RJ hadn't been so injury-prone, I wonder what he would've been able to do in Buffalo... CW
  20. Then how the hell are you complaining about the "unnatural act" penalty? It was the correct call as well (although worded slightly funny...). The defense can't try to simulate teh snap of the ball to make the offense jump. It's a penalty, in the rulebook, so stop your complaining. CW
  21. Doesn't matter (although you'd get major disagreements about being screwed during the last 5 years as well)
  22. You don't want to be coming here, implying that the Pats get screwed all the time. Not to the team that played the infamous "Just Give it To 'Em " game against the Pats. CW
  23. | 1998 buf | 10 6 0 | 0 1 | | 1999 buf | 11 5 0 | 0 1 | | 2000 buf | 8 8 0 | 0 0 | Three seasons in Buffalo, then run out of town. | 2001 buf | 3 13 0 | 0 0 | | 2002 buf | 8 8 0 | 0 0 | | 2003 buf | 6 10 0 | 0 0 | Three seasons in Buffalo, then run out of town. | 2004 buf | 9 7 0 | 0 0 | | 2005 buf | 5 11 0 | 0 0 | Two seasons in Buffalo, then run out of town (for all intents and purposes) What kind of winning program are you expected to have when you're doing major shakeups every 2-3 seasons...? Here's Belichek's first 6 seasons in the league: | 1991 cle | 6 10 0 | 0 0 | | 1992 cle | 7 9 0 | 0 0 | | 1993 cle | 7 9 0 | 0 0 | | 1994 cle | 11 5 0 | 1 1 | | 1995 cle | 5 11 0 | 0 0 | | 2000 ne | 5 11 0 | 0 0 | I don't know, I just think we need to pick someone and sitck with them for a few years. Look at Holmgren in Seattle: | 1999 sea | 9 7 0 | 0 1 | | 2000 sea | 6 10 0 | 0 0 | | 2001 sea | 9 7 0 | 0 0 | | 2002 sea | 7 9 0 | 0 0 | | 2003 sea | 10 6 0 | 0 1 | | 2004 sea | 9 7 0 | 0 1 | | 2005 sea | 13 3 0 | 0 0 | They stuck with him, and it's paying dividends. Oh well, nothing I can do about it, so why worry about it I guess CW
  24. Remember this -- First playoff win for Denver since '98, and they have the same coach. Would Bills fans have been so forgiving? No, our head coach wouldv'e been run out of town for not winning a playoff game. I guarantee that. Look at Phillips. Consistency is key. We don't have that. CW
