Isn't NetZero dialup....? If you use their DSL service instead, I'm guessing you can get better service from a local ISP. You still need the DSL circuit from the phone company, but they don't really tell you that you can use anyone you want (that supports it...) as your ISP. For people in the Twin Cities with DSL, you should switch to Visi.com. Best company, bar none. For other areas, talk to your IT department and see what the techs there use for DSL. CW

Live in a townhome assocation, so all mowing and snow plowing is taken care of. The last company we hired sucked, but we hired a new company last fall and they seem to be much better. Of course, they cost about $30/month/home too, so they better be!

True - but how many teams above us have more points because they beat us in a SO? I don't mind a tie -- I just don't think a game should be worth more than 2 points total.

And that's just what happened. Boston won in OT. I *really* don't like teams getting a point for an OTL. I also don't like the shootout. If you don't want ties, make the OT longer or don't let it end in a tie. Getting 3 points out of 1 game is pretty stupid, IMHO. That said, we'll be within a point of Philly if we can win against the surging Leafs tonight. They're 7-2-1 in their last 10.

You actually watch movies at the theater? I rarely go anymore -- personally, I'd ratherwait 4-5 months, spend $20 and buy it on (HD) DVD. I *might* watch Spiderman 3 in the theater, we'll see how my schedule it. Other than that, probably nothing.

Thanks I can't wait to see her again at the end of May. That really sucks about your Godmother. I can't believe how crime-ridden the city is nowadays (and I was only 19 when I moved out of state in '94...). My parents live in the LaSalle area, and even that's getting a bit rundown. Sad.

True story: A few years ago, someone broke into my grandmother's house (she lives in a (now) crappy part of Niagara Falls, but won't move since she's lived there for ~50 years). Anyway, she grabbed one of her large kitchen knives and cornered the scum in a room and then stabbed him with the knife! She's very lucky that all he did was push her out of the way and run. The cops caught the scumbag a few blocks away My grandmother was upset because the police had to keep the knife for about a year as evidence. Go grandma!!! (personally, I would throw the knife away, but hey). CW
