  1. You're quoting the wrong person. I wasn't agreeing/disagreeing with the decision, I was just pointing out that you would
  2. Careful, VA is going to say that you're against capitalism -- afterall, EA is just trying to make a buck, right?
  3. If you can be charged for having some LED lights on a breadboard, then I'd have to say yes.
  4. You need a backup
  5. I was going to wait until after work tomorrow to get it, but was worried that it'd sell out. Found out a coworker is camping out for it (he's in his early 20s) and he offered to pick me up a copy for the 360. Sweet! This game is also convincing another friend of mine to buy a 360 console with the Best Buy deal (buy game + console and get a $50 gift card).
  6. Pretty sure you're right about that... Although we do have the rookie of the year (Craig Point) and the best goalie in the league (Nick Patterson) and the defensive player of the year (from last year at least) in Ryan Cousins... So we should be able to keep it close at the very least.
  7. Hehe, yeah... I was torn in the beginning, especially since the first ever home game for Minnesota was against Buffalo. Was tough to decide who to root for, but since I root for the Sabres when they play Minnesota and of course the Bills, I figured there should be at least one home team that I can watch and cheer for. Go Swarm!
  8. I used to root for the Bandits, but then Minnesota got a team -- so GO SWARM!!!! (season ticket holder since day 1, although I also did go to the first ever Bandits game )
  9. 1 d1d 5p34k 3n6|15h. Wh47'5 y0ur pr0b|3m??? Boom zig, boom zig!
  10. teh intarwebs is beyond your understanding. u r not 1337. All your base are belong to us! pwned!
  11. Minnesota should've had home field throughout. They were 6-0 to start the season, but faltered towards the end, losing their last two home games (were 6-0 at home), and ended up losing the tiebreaker to the Bandits. If Minnesota and Buffalo both win (very likely), the Bandits will probably go the Cup finals since the Swarm don't match up with them well at all. I don't know what their overall record is against Buffalo, but it's pretty dismal. Still, for a team in their 4th season and in the stronger conference, they're doing quite well building their team. I'm surprised Rochester didn't make the playoffs -- first time in 15 years if I remember correctly.
  12. I know there's some NLL fans out there. The Bandits clinched the eastern conference, and the Swarm are in second. That means if both teams win this coming weekend, they'll play in the conference finals in Buffalo. If you haven't seen an NLL game, you should really go -they're a lot of fun, and relatively cheap to attend as well! http://www.nll.com http://www.bandits.com http://www.mnswarm.com And, at least in Minnesota, if you find the game boring, you can watch this: http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_photo.ph...amp;id=IMG_2617 http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_photo.ph...amp;id=IMG_1194 http://www.fezam.com/gallery/view_photo.ph...amp;id=IMG_2927
  13. If the Wild jersey was in stock, I would've bought one Wild and one Sabres, but since I already have the class crossed swords Sabres jersey, I'm going to stick with that. Figured people here might like the deal though

  15. It's not an advantage, trust me
  16. Ahhhh, that makes sense. I don't have to worry about any of that - my company has unlimited everything on the phone. I can't imagine what the phone bill must be since it's a giant pool. When I checked the minutes I had used for the month, it said something like 583,387.
  17. Unlike Apple, who doesn't allow anyone to do anything to the phone and it they do, they disable the phone completely.
  18. Yup - it's free.
  19. Hmmm, good point on slright. With mine I use the rollerball to go right/left and it works fine. I have noticed that on occasion the roller ball doesn't move up. If I keep rolling it, it eventually starts working again. Not sure if there's a problem with the contact or what - but it doesnt' seem to be a software issue.
  20. That'd probably be because alright isn't really a word; it's slang. The predictive text also learns what you type. So if you type st, then use the wheel to select "at," it learns that you're more likely to use "at" and next time that's what it'll use for you. You can probably teach it "alright" the same way -- type the first couple of letters, then confirm that they're "al," and keep adding letters until you get it. Next time, it'll just know what you want. CW
  21. I bought my wife a pre-paid T-Mobile phone with 1000 minutes for $75 a year or so ago. worked well. I tihnk there's some deals in this thread that might help: http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.ph...hlight=t-mobile
  22. I got the Blackberry from work -- I could choose the Pearl or the bigger, wider model with full keyboard. I found that with predictive text, I don't actually need the full keyboard to type
  23. Why do you connect it to your PC? I never do - it syncs my email, calendar, contacts automatically (that's what the Blackberry does! ). I've never had a reason to connect it... Am I missing something though?
  24. I have the Blackberry Pearl 8100 and like it a lot. The website seems kinda lame though http://www.blackberrypearl.com/
