  1. People who are into heavy drugs have been known to cause deaths to those around them -- Brady's bodyguards should shoot Todd!
  2. Yes, I have been drinking the Blu Kool-Aid...
  3. Before it even aired, the writer said, "Don't judge the show before the 6th episode." Unlike Battlestar Gallactica, there was a plan around this show, so they spent the first 5 episodes just painting the backdrop. Just like a novel doesn't jump right in, the series didn't either. Starting with the 6th episode, lots of crazy stuff is going on and you don't know what's up. You learn about why the doctor has scars on her face, history of some of the actives, the Dollhouse is one of many around the country, etc, etc. A big backdrop and the story can go any number of different ways now. Very innovative show -- which is why it'll probably get cancelled.
  4. Haven't watched Dollhouse, have you?
  5. Looks like it'll be renewed for next season as well: http://www.airlockalpha.com/news426236.html You really have to watch it from the first episode though -- I'd highly recommend doing that online though, as the show is very well written; the first 5 episodes are setting the backdrop, and after that everything starts coming together.
  6. Anyone watching Dollhouse on Fox? The show's pretty awesome - slow first few episodes, but things are really picking up now. Anyway, it appears scientists are getting closer to really being able to do that.... http://www.nytimes.com/2009/04/06/health/r...tml?_r=1&hp
  7. The reason they are making millions as celebrities is because people feel that kind of entitlement. From what I've heard, half the time the celebrities themselves CALL the paparazzai and tip them off on their location to keep their names in the news, sell magazines, etc. Isn't it telling that Mrs. Brady had the guards fire shots because SHE WANTED TO MAKE THE MONEY ON THE PICTURES. All I'm saying is that it's a two way street.
  8. Did you look at who actually posted the thread....?
  9. Why? It's funny because the celebrities claim they hate the photographers, but it's also how they make their money. Can't have it both ways. Oh, well that makes it ok!
  10. Wow, you're in a "shoot everyone!" mood today, aren't you? http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?s=&am...t&p=1376758
  11. WTF?!?! So if you cut someone off in traffic (that's caused accidents and deaths), I have the right to shoot you??? If someone is breaking the law -- you call the police. If someone is not breaking the law, but is simply doing something you don't like -- tough crap. Nothing illegal about taking pictures.
  12. SmartyJonesWinsTheTripleCrown.com!
  13. A friend of mine works for a subsidiary of AIG in California. She told me that the company removed the AIG sign on top of the building due to fears of the angry mob. How sad is that?
  14. What do you do (if you don't mind me asking)?
  15. I wouldn't move back to WNY. Even if you have a job now, what happens if that job evaporates? There aren't a lot of employment opportunities there from what I've seen.... Oh, and the taxes suck.
  16. Ummm, did Bumblebee get some upgrades in the offseason or something....???
  17. You should never have a browser remember your logins anyway... It's a major security vulnerability. It sounds more like there might be something up with your computer.... I'm running Firefox on a ~7 year old laptop with only 256M of RAM, and it works great... Even on my main machine, which I leave on 24x7, it very rarely has a memory leak forcing me to restart it (maybe once every month or two). Combine your FF experience with your IE8 issue, and I think there's something wrong with your OS.

  19. I've posted that a couple of times -- it's an awesome video.
  20. Maybe Scott can implement that for the forums...
  21. Yeah, I do. Not every year, but I am registered.
  22. I never saw your message! I've never been to the 5-8 club, but people at work say that one's the best... I need to get there this summer to make up my own mind.
  23. It's not a line item, but yeah, they incorporate that. In Minnesota, you can fill out a rebate form to get some money back from the state government based on how much you earn.
  24. Yes, the building owners are paying property tax on the entire building. You don't think the state would miss out on potential tax revenue, do you?
