  1. I love you devotion to the rhino. I don't remember exactly when he quit (you do no doubt) but its been years and Years at this point. Say what you want about the rhino. He had some interesting opinions and provided plenty of articles and stuff to back it up. I wish more posters on here could back up their opinions as well as he could.
  2. It's essentially the Russia Russia Russia strategy. Accuse your opponent of what you're doing. Hillary was taking heat in the primaries due to her Russia connections. So she came up with Steele Dossier and accused Trump of being a Russian stooge. They fell for it and are this time too.
  3. This is an excellent equestrian I've been wondering about. On here and with progressives I know can't discuss politics rationally. They can't explain their position and as you say resort to name calling and whataboutism and of course TRUMP even when he's not part of the discussion. I can think of some (not all) non progressives that don't resort to name calling and can back up their position. Can't think of any progressives that do the same here at PPP. If anyone can think of any please correct me. And you're right in that it undermines themselves. Its hard to take anyone seriously that argues this way.
  4. Amy Klobuchar could win against Trump this time. Hell, even Dean Phillips could win.
  5. Agree 100%. That should have been our year to go to if not win the Super Bowl. The Titans went on to get within 1 yard of beating the greatest show on turf. Our defense was better. We could have won that game or at least be the only team to lose 5 Super Bowls. Rob Johnson sucked but at least he did get Tampa Bay over the sub 40 degree jinx without getting his team in the EZ. No one will ever convince me we don't win that game with America's favorite midget under center.
  6. He's not better, he just sucks less. Isn't it great that our Presidential election this year will come down to voting for the one you think is less senile. If either party would nominate a moderate candidate they would win in a landslide.
  7. So now it's important for political parties to have the funniest TV shows and that is somehow important? SNL had never really been all that funny. Was true even in the Akroyd/Curtain/Belushi/Morris era. They'll have a funny skit now and then but you have to watch too many unfunny ones to get to it to make it worthwhile IMHO. And as with most comedy shows that dealt with politics (Johnny Carson for example), they used to make fun of whoever the President was. Now they take a side which makes it less funny. Like Colbert for example whose new show is anything but funny but very political. Loved the Colbert Report so I watched a few of his new show when it first started. I was sadly disappointed.
  8. Segregation today. Segregation tomorrow. Segregation forever. The article refers to " black identifying" people who are welcome to attend. So people who aren't black but "identify" as black can attend? What if a person is black but identifies as white or Asian or hispanic, can they get in? If Rachel Dolezal shows up is she welcome or racial appropriating? This stuff is confusing.
  9. Honestly, I don't know. I don't know why you do and say a lot of things you do.
  10. You're the one bringing up your new hero Mitt Romney.
  11. Does Mitt still have binders of women? Do you know he tied a dog on top of his car?
  12. "my father's, who has done nothing but devote his life to public service". I love how these politicians say "public service" is what they do when actually it's more like servicing the public. You wanna do public service? Be a cop, join the military, be a firefighter, or work at a soup kitchen.
  13. As detailed the SpyGate book, Ernie was the brains of the operation. Makes perfect sense the Cheats went into the tank when he retired.
  14. So no more "Putin Price Hike"? Nice of Vladimir to lower prices to help out President Biden. And, is Vladimir telling the truth now, but not when he said he wants President Biden to win?
  15. I fully expect race riots this summer. it worked so well in 2020. I'm not saying D's orchestrated it, but they sure egged it on (and will again). One more even small incident post July 1, and its on. Vice pres Harris will pay your bail.
  16. Coulda fooled me. My point is the rules say you can do this. When I think of interfering with an election I usually think some type of illegality occurring. In this case it clearly didn't. Republicans are more than welcome to vote for Dean Phillips.
  17. How do you know dems voted for Hailey? Any proof?
  18. Sure. Individuals can be angry but that's far from what your article stated that all white people, especially white men, are "angry". I'm also going to speculate many of the people you're talking about are angry at other things besides racism or Trump or politics.
  19. Wait. So, voting for who you want is now considered "interfere with elections"?
  20. I know quite a few white people and white men. I don't know any that are "angry". Even my neighbor the retired white male cop isn't " angry". far from it. I also know black, asian, indian, and hispanic people. They aren't " angry" either. Do you personally know any? This sounds like election year grandstanding to me. It's an election year. All political news and speculation should be taken with a pinch of salt.
  21. I say we keep both of those creeps away from kids.
