So you're willing to use that excuse for Doughtery even though Vernon was in the exact same situation and didn't need an excuse? Does this make sense to you? When a backup QB comes in for a starter he's in a similar position. Since either of these will be backups, go with the spark plug IMHO. Admittedly I only saw that one game of Doughtery. But I saw Vernon pull similar stunts at Oregon as he did in that game. All college QBs are long shots to be NFL starters. Especially guys drafted where these guys will be.

Hotrod does a lot of things well and all in all played pretty well for us. He could play about the same level this year and we could make playoffs if he could improve on one thing. Stop laying eggs when the game is on the line late. He had several chances and came up lame vs Patsies**twice, Eagles, and Washington. Throwing picks and fumbling twice on the same play is not getting it done and renders the rest moot. Had he come through in 1/2 the games I mentioned above, we would have made playoffs. I like Hotrod and am pulling for him, but this has got to change if he wants the big bucks from us or someone else.

My argument for acquiring Vernon Adams Jr has absolutely NOTHING to do with Russell Wilson. It has everything to do with Vernon's performance on the field. He makes things happen and elevates the play of the rest of the team. Screw the "measurables". The dude is a flat out gamer with a strong track record at Eastern Washington and Oregon.

I turned on MSNBC and all they could talk about was Trump's dumb answer to a hypothetical question and the meeting he had with the RNC that was supposed to last 10 minutes but lasted for 45. No mention of the FBI wanting to interview Hillary about mishandling classified information.

This cat stunk it up at the Players Union all star game. Then when Vernon Adams Jr. came in with the same team/coaching, he lit it up and got a couple of TDs. Then the next QB came in and the team went back to doing nothing offensively. Get Vernon instead.

When have you ever watched on a political TV ad that "informed" you of anything? They could still flood your email box to inform you or you could watch the dedates to be informed. You coulkd go to thier web site to see where they stand. Would also substantially cut the cost of a campaign.

Outlaw political advertising outright. Cigarette companies have no freedom of speech in regards to advertising on TV.

I don't think you are alone. The Democrat party should ignore the vast number of people who dislike here and will NEVER vote for her at their own peril. But hard core Democrats don't understand this. At the caucus on Saturday some lady was yammering on about friends of hers who said they would vote for Trump if Hillary gets the nomination and she couldn't understand it. I told here there are MANY Americans who are fed up with business as usual paid for politicians (which Hillary exemplifies) and are mad as hell. She looked at me like I had 2 heads. Clueless. But it seems the party big whigs are like her.

So far this campaign has been fun. I get more laughs out of the things this woman says.

I think if Bernie ran as 3rd party vs Trump and Clinton he might have a real shot of winning.

Bernie won my precinct 3-1. I was the captain and personally counted the ballots. I wanted to make sure no funny business was going to go on. There weren't enough Hillary people there to do any funny business.

I give most of the credit to Doug Whaley. Since he has been GM he has been tenacious about finding us the scarce resource, which is QB. 3years ago he picked EJ in round 1. 2 years ago he signed Kyle Orton. Last year he brought in Hotrod and Cassel. I look for him to do something this off season as well. I doubt that very seriously. I suspect some team will pick him up.
