  1. I guess "The Deflator" just had to go to the bathroom really bad. Couldn't wait til he dropped off the footballs and go back to the locker room (Where there is a bathroom).
  2. To me, the most compelling part of the Spygate book was the last chapter. It talks about the statistics of things like wins and home wins and beating the spread. (i know TBDers love statistics). The Patsies** are soooooooo far ahead of the curve in regards to the other 31 teams. Statisticians who reviewed the data blind questioned if they were really an equal member of the group. Take perfect seasons at home witb Brady for example. He has more than Troy Aikmen, Kurt Warner, Jim Kelly, Peyton Manning, and Dan Mariono COMBINED. All HOF QBs or soon to be. If you are an NFL fan, you should read that.book. It is not just a sore loser rant as is often portrayed. It is instead based on facts and statistical analysis. They HAVE been busted twice and their success is so far out of the ballpark statistically in regards to the rest of the league. If you want to believe it is because they are just so much smarter and better than everyone else, go for it.
  3. I think it's easier to read, but how about you use 1 and those that want 2 use 2? Yes I did learn to type on a typewriter, and no, not all typewriters had mono space fonts.
  4. Depends on the level of Trump fatigue and the state of the economy 18 months from now. all the above is my opinion, of course. :).
  5. You do. Marv calls them kicking teams because every "special teams" play involves a kick of some kind. While a kicking teams coach with George Allen, he counted them up, and in a football game, 22% of all plays are kicking teams plays. That's why he emphasized it. He signed stev e Tasker after being cut by Houston because he was good at blocking punts. When Marv was kicking teams coach in Washington, in the Super Bowl, it was his unit that scored the only TD for his team on a pick six off of a Garo Youprimian pass on a blocked FG. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d-pxMm_UdY4 it's not just some throw away part of the game. It's critical and should be treated thAt way. PS I got this info from Mary's book "Where Else Would You Rather Be". A really good off season read it you haven't already read it.
  6. EJ DID have a better rookie campaign. More Tds. Less picks. Higher comp %.
  7. Definitive? Maybe not. It comes from mainly 2 places. 1. In an interview with Doug Flutie saying he was surprised while listening to his helmet on the sidelines that the communications continued after the 15 second cut off. 2. Peyton Manning and others have said that in critical points in games at the Razor the radio would cut out. Who can forget Mike Tomlin getting the Pasties** radio broadcast through his headset? A high tech stadium in a high tech city can't seem to get the radio thing figured out somehow.
  8. Is this why we had to dump quality players and suffer through another losing season gaining 90 mil in cap space to trade 1/6 of it for a day 2 draft pick? Really?
  9. Bernie is not white, he's a Jew.
  10. I find it funny/interesting that they are now using the phrase "stand your ground" to describe Sandmann's behavior. An obvious reference to the law in some states that a lot of people sucked in by this nonsense hate.
  11. Doesn't matter to me where we get one. But I think it's very important for the "major investment" to have much upgraded "weapons" in 2019. No more Clay. He costs us games. Not sure Croom is up to it yet. I think we could add and greatly improve OL AND TE AND WR. 90 mil. 10 draft picks. Not vastly improving WR and TE will stunt the "major investment"'s growth. Also, with a new OL coach and Daboll allegedly starting to implement more of NE style offense, the OL line could very well be significantly better adding a piece or two. Doesn't have to be either/or IMHO.
  12. Yes. He figured out a way to manipulate the most basic element of the game. The football ?. To believe they have only cheated the 2 times they were caught and have since stopped seems naive. As far as the destroyed tapes i suspect they contained stuff besides the signals and clock ⏰ thing, like Super Bowl opponent's walk throughs. Ask Marshall Falk about that sometime. Thumbs up to Coach Pedersen for doing a fake walk through last year. Hopefully Coach McVey does likewise.
  13. would be nice for the big investment to have a quality pass catching TE to throw to ...
  14. Not no, but H E double hockey sticks NO.
  15. Seeing how these guys draft I could absolutely see it. In 2018 when they traded up for that second 1st round pick they passed on a legit weapon for their newly drafted QB in Ridley, and selected linebacker instead. Not saying Edmunds is not good, but it shows me where their priorities are.
  16. They weren't even all white.
  17. I'm not on it because I think it's dumb, but still get inundated with it everywhere I go. At the Mariners and Bills game they show them on the scoreboard. Theyt play them on trailers on some sports telecasts. Many many many many news stories and newspaper articles are about nothing but tweets. and then the responses. it's like playing Gossip. He said she said. A lot of posts on PPP quote them. It is so lame. I keep meaning to make a bumper sticker that says "Twitter + FaceBook = Trump" but I haven't … yet.
  18. Maybe not, but it sure does make them a good Remington Raider.
  19. You may not be old enough to remember, but I remember when people used to say "I may not agree with what you say, but I will fight for your right to say i t." this was all freedom speech . The guy yelling "Mexicans go home. Puerto Ricans to home.". Whatever the kids were chanting. The Indians doing their song. No one punched or shoved anyone. what is the big freakin' deal?
  20. this is what I was thinking. If they had been wearing Cubs hats it would be nothing.
  21. I certainly hope this is the case. I think for the Bills to ever rise from the ashes we need a really good offense. If we try to play close and win at the end, we are susceptible to those mysterious flags and call. If we're far enough ahead that can't happen. However I 'll believe it when we have a good offense. Let's not forget that Coach McDermott inherited a offense that was #10 in scoring in 2016. With the same QB and offensive line and RB he managed to drop that to 22nd. This year we were also 22nd. OK, bad salary cap, Wood and Richie, rookie QB blah blah blah. We'll see.
  22. Maybe Matt Stafford can turn him into a good WR?
  23. How many points do you get for yards? I think you're basing Edelman and others as being effective due to Tommy, but I base it more on the style of offense they run. That's why they have short fast guys whereas most other teams gravitate to taller lankier WRs. Maybe Welker and Amendola didn't succeed in other places because the offense didn't suit their specific size and skill set like it did in NE? I predict that if Tommy retires after this year and Bill Bellyache does not, they will trade for Foles and the train will keep rolling.
  24. I know this is a popular opinion but I disagree. His WRs may not being the tall lanky go up and grab contested ball types like Julio Jones and AJ Green that one thinks of when great WR discussions come up. But that's not their game. They don't throw contested sideline throws or back of the EZ jump balls. Their offense calls for fast guys running short routes that can catch the football and run with it. Edelman totally fits the Bill as did Welker before him and Amendola and Brandon Cooks. They are very sure handed most of the time as well. So I would argue that he (and the others) ARE great WRs. And lets not forget about The Gronk. And yes, a good defense. In 2018 they were 6th in league in average points per game. In 2017 they were 5th. In 2016 they were numero uno. In 2015, number 10. if you look back over the years this is pretty typical. I don't know how you judge Defenses, but preventing the opposition from scoring points is the way I do it. And before you say that's Tommy too, they had 36 seconds more Time of Possession than Buffalo this year. 2018 - #8, 2017 - #11 2016 #4 2015 - #20. So it's not like they're holding the ball and the D only has to play 20:00 per game. He is good. But his team is stacked and he has had great coaching. I don't say he's not good, but I also don't say he can hide weaknesses, because his team never really has much if any IMHO.
