Mad Men

Other than throwing deep, which we can't do on every play, I think Allen's best area of the field is the intermediate middle of the field. Like those dig routes to Foster. He seems confident throwing into the middle and the arm allows him to get it there. We don't have anyone who really excels in the middle though. The best we have is Zay Jones who is a JAG and unreliable. Someone who can really flourish in the middle of the field I think would help Josh out a ton and stress the defense, helping to open up the deep stuff.

Clelin Ferrell is also processy-- vocal leader, high motor, competitive, sets the edge well. Not the speed rusher I personally look for but he's smart, has good length and uses it well, good technique and a lot of different moves. May be in play at 9

He won't be particularly good, for sure. He'll leave yards on the table at times, as he always has, and doesn't have the speed anymore to hit the homeruns to offset it. But he'll also have some 10-15 yarders that'll make us say "wow." And hopefully eat as a receiver.

I love that. I hate how the NFL makes us stare at the quarterback every play. If he holds the ball and scrambles/takes a sack rather than throwing it we don't know if it's a good, disciplined play with nobody open or if there are open receivers and he just can't scan the field. I wish the NFL would change the broadcast angle so we can see what the heck is happening
