  1. Clearly no one knows that crayonz is the designated board troll
  2. If the Bills can force Eli to be bad, bumbling Eli, Bills 31, Giants 20. If Good Eli shows up, Giants 28, Bills 21
  3. I like the idea of either game being flexed really. I'm just not sure if Tennessee can keep up their current pace without Chris Johnson being...Chris Johnson. Matt Hasselbeck was at his best in Seattle with Shaun Alexander eating the clock and rolling up monster yards. Although there may be blood in the water so to speak with Andre Johnson and Mario Williams injured in Houston However now that I look their schedule is pretty soft through the next 6 weeks. They may be this seasons Kansas City, feasting on poor opponents
  4. Either this game or the Bills/Jets game the week prior (Nov 27) are possibilities in my mind. I believe the Sunday night game that week is Pittsburgh/Kansas City. While the Jets may not be doing so well, its still the NYC metro market and that is automatic ratings for NBC. I believe they flex games approximately 2 weeks ahead of time, so that means the decision on that week will be made after the Bills/Dallas game. If the Bills have at least 6 wins (especially if the 2 come over the Giants and Jets) by that point and Pittsburgh and KC continue on their current path I expect league to give this game serious flex consideration.
  5. Pears is 79. He absolutely neutralized Jason Babin all day long. Barely even heard Babin's name. Urbik steamrolled I believe Jamar Chaney on that 50 yard screen play...pushed him all the way to the sideline and about 15 yards downfield. Good o line play indeed. I will also agree with the first post on this page. Short passes are how you beat the Eagles. Their LBs are not good and you have elite cover guys in Asomugha, Samuel and Rodgers-Cromartie. If you give them 6 seconds to match up with their receiver, they will do it. If you run routes with designed "picks" and quick slants, you can eat them up
  6. Good games today by these two rookies. For Hairston, its a great thing when a rookie steps in due to injury at LT, throws a couple great blocks and doesn't get mentioned for anything negative. For Sheppard, nice to see him finally get some snaps at ILB. I think he was out there more than Davis, perhaps the torch has been passed.
  7. If he doesn't make his presence felt against a backup LT, who will he make it felt against?
  8. Relying far too heavily on the pass today.
  9. Exactly. You feed it to Turner over and over and over again until they stack the box with 8 and then you go over the top to White, Jones and Gonzalez and eat them up. Offense 101. Oh Mularkey, how little has changed
  10. Not sure which one of their d linemen that was, but I loved that play call as a whole. I love the motion of McIntyre to the right side and the down the line to the left, snapping the ball when he was behind Rinehart, leaving him with a few steps and a perfectly set up iso block on the DT who reacted to being left alone exactly how the Bills wanted him to (also the exact opposite of how he was coached I am sure)
  11. I just walked past a tv here on campus with NFLN on. Saw it on the ticker, Vick expected to miss 3-4 weeks
  12. Back. Which is why I noticed it so easily. As a former left tackle I know...you don't get away with stuff like that on the outside of the line very often. Your blocking is the most visible.
  13. Same goes for the a play on the first series. It was just a screen pass, but Veldheer had a handful of Merriman's jersey right between the 5 and 6 so blatant that I noticed it without even specifically looking for it.
  14. I parked on some lot on Southwestern Blvd last year between the 219 and Abbott. Easy in, easy out in an RV and a quick walk across the grass lot and uphill into what I think is lot 5 to get into the stadium. Never again will I use a stadium lot. I was closer than I used to be in Lot 3
  15. I don't really care either way, but when was the last time a bad punt quite literally cost the team a win? Missed field goals in OT or when time expires do that....and I can think of multiple examples of Lindell doing that. Plus, you're not a f***ing coach or player, you (or anyone else on this board) have no idea how Lindell, Moorman, or anyone else behaves in the locker room or on the sidelines
  16. Are you arguing for the sake of arguing or are you serious?
  17. I liked him when he was at TTU but I always wondered about his ability to translate to the pro level. He's a massive, massive man, especially for a guard, and didn't seem to move much in college, he seemed to be more of a straight ahead mauler.
  18. He went to texas tech right? The guard who used to do all the crazy face paint and had the mohawk?
  19. I'll believe it when I see it from a more credible source. Now its time for an ILB and a TE.
  20. Everyone saying this does realize he *COULD* go back for another season yet, right? He'll have his academic degree after another year in school, but he was only a Redshirt Sophomore this year. He could play the 2011 and 2012 seasons if he really wanted.
  21. VOMIT: Whitner and Maybin. Both of them got true WTF (and other choice word) responses. Jumping for joy? I liked the Wood pick, but it certainly did not have me elated.
  22. According to Jeremy White's post on WGR's site, his best guess is our throwbacks from the past few years coupled with the white charging Buffalo helmets. So, pretty similar to what was worn in the mid to late 70's and early 80's
  23. Sounds pretty similar to Erik Pears...
  24. The QB I think we should keep an eye on next year is Nick Foles in Arizona. Just my personal opinion though.
  25. I'm assuming it goes in the same order as the draft, with the staff able to accept or decline. Obviously the team must have a coaching staff in place to even get the invite, thus it is a possibility that the Bills had first dibs on it with Carolina and Denver not having their new head coaches selected.
