  1. I'm really curious what the 1st play from scrimmage will be for Buffalo's offense. We know Jacksonville likes to play a lot of man. Going to be interesting to see what the 1st drive is going to look like. I am not convinced that it's going to be run, run, pass in this one. I think against the Cards, the very 1st play was a pass to one of the TEs.
  2. Thanks for that. It's something that I think should be watched throughout the season. Teams are going to be running more league wide I think so it's a going to be important. Whoever is successful controlling the clock is going to win more, at least until defenses start bringing a safety up into the box again.
  3. It would be interesting to see time of possession here too. I would assume it's higher under Brady.
  4. I think so too. Hard to guess who has the big day.
  5. Offense: Cook and Coleman Defense: Rousseau and Oliver Special Teams: Shoot I can't remember his name....lol
  6. All of our DEs full go. Repeat, all of our DEs full go.....over.
  7. Another very under rated thing to mention is that Trevor is currently the second most sacked QB in the league. Our Dline is chomping at the bit right now. This could very well end up being a very ugly game for Jax. Most people are rightly worried about protecting Josh, but the big story this week could very well be about Trevor Lawrence's protection.
  8. The Jags have a really good Dline. Very much like Buffalo in that they can rush only 4 and put everyone else in coverage, and the front 4 can still put pressure on the QB. They are pretty aggressive so there will be opportunity both running and passing to take advantage of that aggressiveness.. I think we'll continue to see the RBs heavily involved. However, the Jags have not done so great preventing the pass thus far and we may see Allen taking some shots down field. It really depends on how well the Oline does at giving him time in the pocket. I think the Oline performing well is going to be the key to this game.
  9. Read that article yesterday. Some really good stuff in there.
  10. Yeah, that team is going places. Really talented and Stroud is making a name for himself too.
  11. I personally think the offense has been much less predictable since Brady took over. It wasn't just Cook that started getting more reps it was Shakir and Kincaid too. The problem before was that it was predominantly the Allen to Diggs show. As good as it was, defenses were double and tripling Diggs. I think as the season goes on we'll see more shots being taken downfield and more skill position players getting involved. Kincaid has seen very little action so far. Coleman was pretty active in the 1st game but not in the second. We're seeing running backs making catches more than we've seen since McCoy. This Jags team has given up a lot of passing plays so far this year and I'm thinking a 300+ yard game is coming. However it plays out, we're certainly seeing an effort to get more people involved in the offense. People have been complaining about WRs not catching as many passes, but many of those passes are going to RBs and TEs. Josh is still throwing the ball. There's no chance in hell that's ever going to stop, well at least until his arm falls off. Wouldn't be surprised if an OLman catches a pass sometime😄
  12. I think the predictability thing is over stated. That Cook TD on 4th an 3 was a perfect example.
  13. That's actually pretty impressive because even when the defense knows it's a run, the Bills are still among the best in the league at it.
  14. NE's Oline is really bad. Hard to get a read on how good the Jets will be this year. Rogers looked pretty good and if he stays healthy, that team could be dangerous is the vibe I'm getting.
  15. All 3 DEs are only listed as limited. Pretty good chance one or more are full go by Monday.
  16. The defensive line is seeing a renaissance this year too. If the secondary is elite too we could have ourselves a championship defense. Get Bernard and Milano back we'll really be dangerous.
  17. I think some here are missing a big part of the offensive philosophy. It's not all about Josh, in fact I think it's arguably more about those around Josh. The everyone eats mantra is all about utilizing the skills of every skill player. Every skill player brings something to the table. The way they approaching things, is making the offense more diverse and unpredictable. If you can attack with a RB, a WR, a TE or with Josh using his legs, that puts a great deal of stress on a defense. Thus far, we've seen very little from our TEs but we all know they can be very effective. We're still learning about the potential of our WRs, but because we've been so effective running the ball, they haven't yet had an opportunity to break out. Week to week the matchups will be different and week to week we'll see someone else breaking out and having a big game. It's not just dink and dunk vs the long ball. There's certainly more to it than that. The fact that the OL is winning also should be factored in. These guys are not your skill players, but keeping Josh clean and opening holes for the run is making the job a whole lot easier on the skill players. Lets hope the offense continues to operate at such an efficient and effective level.
  18. I personally like beating up the Dolphins, Patriots and Jets. Wouldn't change a thing.
  19. The Bills exorcise their demons in this game and take the Jags to the woodshed. 38 - 10 Bills
  20. They are desperate for a win, but that just means the pressure is on them. Clearly they are the inferior team too. It's more likely they get embarrassed.
  21. Because he is bigger, has sure hands and knows how to go up and get the ball. Laugh all you want.
  22. Taron was seen in the locker room today. No brace. No cast.
  23. No one is being IR'd.😉
  24. I'll take Coleman in single coverage all day.
