  1. The Jags have a really good Dline. Very much like Buffalo in that they can rush only 4 and put everyone else in coverage, and the front 4 can still put pressure on the QB. They are pretty aggressive so there will be opportunity both running and passing to take advantage of that aggressiveness.. I think we'll continue to see the RBs heavily involved. However, the Jags have not done so great preventing the pass thus far and we may see Allen taking some shots down field. It really depends on how well the Oline does at giving him time in the pocket. I think the Oline performing well is going to be the key to this game.
  2. Read that article yesterday. Some really good stuff in there.
  3. Yeah, that team is going places. Really talented and Stroud is making a name for himself too.
  4. I personally think the offense has been much less predictable since Brady took over. It wasn't just Cook that started getting more reps it was Shakir and Kincaid too. The problem before was that it was predominantly the Allen to Diggs show. As good as it was, defenses were double and tripling Diggs. I think as the season goes on we'll see more shots being taken downfield and more skill position players getting involved. Kincaid has seen very little action so far. Coleman was pretty active in the 1st game but not in the second. We're seeing running backs making catches more than we've seen since McCoy. This Jags team has given up a lot of passing plays so far this year and I'm thinking a 300+ yard game is coming. However it plays out, we're certainly seeing an effort to get more people involved in the offense. People have been complaining about WRs not catching as many passes, but many of those passes are going to RBs and TEs. Josh is still throwing the ball. There's no chance in hell that's ever going to stop, well at least until his arm falls off. Wouldn't be surprised if an OLman catches a pass sometime😄
  5. I think the predictability thing is over stated. That Cook TD on 4th an 3 was a perfect example.
  6. That's actually pretty impressive because even when the defense knows it's a run, the Bills are still among the best in the league at it.
  7. NE's Oline is really bad. Hard to get a read on how good the Jets will be this year. Rogers looked pretty good and if he stays healthy, that team could be dangerous is the vibe I'm getting.
  8. All 3 DEs are only listed as limited. Pretty good chance one or more are full go by Monday.
  9. The defensive line is seeing a renaissance this year too. If the secondary is elite too we could have ourselves a championship defense. Get Bernard and Milano back we'll really be dangerous.
  10. I think some here are missing a big part of the offensive philosophy. It's not all about Josh, in fact I think it's arguably more about those around Josh. The everyone eats mantra is all about utilizing the skills of every skill player. Every skill player brings something to the table. The way they approaching things, is making the offense more diverse and unpredictable. If you can attack with a RB, a WR, a TE or with Josh using his legs, that puts a great deal of stress on a defense. Thus far, we've seen very little from our TEs but we all know they can be very effective. We're still learning about the potential of our WRs, but because we've been so effective running the ball, they haven't yet had an opportunity to break out. Week to week the matchups will be different and week to week we'll see someone else breaking out and having a big game. It's not just dink and dunk vs the long ball. There's certainly more to it than that. The fact that the OL is winning also should be factored in. These guys are not your skill players, but keeping Josh clean and opening holes for the run is making the job a whole lot easier on the skill players. Lets hope the offense continues to operate at such an efficient and effective level.
  11. I personally like beating up the Dolphins, Patriots and Jets. Wouldn't change a thing.
  12. The Bills exorcise their demons in this game and take the Jags to the woodshed. 38 - 10 Bills
  13. They are desperate for a win, but that just means the pressure is on them. Clearly they are the inferior team too. It's more likely they get embarrassed.
  14. Because he is bigger, has sure hands and knows how to go up and get the ball. Laugh all you want.
  15. Taron was seen in the locker room today. No brace. No cast.
  16. No one is being IR'd.😉
  17. I'll take Coleman in single coverage all day.
  18. Yeah, I think those grades were BS.
  19. According to this chart, the Jags look pretty pedestrian.
  20. I think the Bills are going to continue to mix things up on offense and the Jags defense will be on their heels trying to figure out what comes next. I see this as a game where the Bills simply out class an inferior team. And on defense, I think it will be a similar scenario. People keep bringing up history, but none of that matters.
  21. This is a perfect game for the Ravens to get their run game going. If they have a younger shiftier RB, they should lead with that to tire out the defense then put Henry in later in the game to punish them. It's hard for me to imagine Dallas winning this one, but Henry does not have a quick 1st step. If Dallas is able to blow up plays in the backfield, that just might happen. I think the Ravens are learning that they cannot just line up and punish teams with Henry like they hoped and I think they will have a plan against the Cowboys.
  22. The Bills are about to open a can of whoop-ass. What ever history Buffalo has with this team is completely irrelevant. What matters is who is more talented now. Who is more prepared now. Who is better coached now.
  23. Never heard of them.
  24. I really like what the Bills are doing. If the trend is going to a higher percentage run vs pass, the Bills are on the right track. It's not as simple as defenses using 2 high safeties or guys being bigger or smaller though, if you can dominate on the ground, you absolutely should. Things I like about the Bills offense: a QB that can run and pass a really good RB room, all can rush, all can catch screens are working after years of watching them repeatedly getting blown up(I consider these to be an extension of the run game) the runs are setting up some nice play action passes run game is unpredictable, could be a strait hand off up the middle, bounced outside, an RPO, a jet sweep or simply a sneak to get short yardage the OL is bigger and stronger plus not afraid of bringing in a 6 OLman Even when it's a pass play and nothing is open Josh can do damage on the ground the use of motion to determine what the defense is in Josh's ability to change the call at the line the run has been pretty efficient so far 2 TEs on the field that make the threat of run greater, but all of our TEs can catch too These are just focused on the run game. But there is a lot to like about the pass game too. Bottom line is that the Bills can simply spread the ball around and never let a defense pin their ears back and attack. They can never figure out where the ball is going. I look at a teams like Houston/Arizona and the talent there, but in my humble opinion, they are still playing checkers and the Bills are playing chess. The Bills may be running the ball more, but I believe it has more to do with countering what the defense is doing and offensive efficiency. The everyone eats playbook is making the offense better and I think they are just scratching the surface of what this offense can be. Let's hope so and Go Bills!
