Come on, not saying he is shy and he does not lack self awarenes, he is not going to play media games and cater to the fire everybody crowd like you want him to.

He is HC in the NFL and he has been a successful coach in the NFL; you don't get there without conducting serious self appraisals. And you don't stand in front of the press and offer self critiques; we leave that up to the true professionals on TBD!!

You must have some pretty good sources inside the Bills Front Office; how do you know how McDermott assesses himself? More hot air!

I can take a season without the playoffs, however, we need to still legitimately be in the hunt mid December and clear evidence by performance we are real real close! 2019 is a make or break year for the current Bills! It depends on overall performance though I tend to agree that 8 - 8 reeks of 17 years of accepted mediocrity! They (FO and coaching) are set up for 2019, they need to produce and they owe to the fans to demonstrate the process works! If the right moves are made we can be playoff competitors for years to come!

1978 Bills Acquired Frank Lewis, veteran wide out who worked great with First Rounder Jerry Butler and brought veteran experience to the team - 1989 James Lofton combined with Andre Reed. Both had great numbers, veteran presence in the locker room and great members of the community while in Buffalo! Neither broke the bank!
