  1. I thought the Titans got the ball to start the game…
  2. It’s funny, because Mason Rudolph seems to always be growing to wide open guys. Our offense is a joke.
  3. I find it hard to believe we can’t do better than Codrington as our return guy. Zero explosiveness and questionable ball skills.
  4. Injured LBs are a constant feature of this McDemott scheme.
  5. Rudolph seems to be more than this cottony-soft defense can handle.
  6. If the NY Jets had secretly paid off Joe Brady and told him to design an offense that would neutralize Josh Allen, it would look a lot like this.
  7. How on earth are the Jests favored by 2 at Pittsburgh? Do the Steelers have a ton of injuries?
  8. Levis is far more likely to make a Nathan Peterman-level play…he is hands-down the worst starting QB in the NFL right now. Rudolph has played solid NFL football from time to time. He is an upgrade.
  9. It blows my mind when I see ostensible football fans advocate for less NFL football on TV, as if three nights a week for 18 weeks per year is just too much to handle…
  10. Then why do you think Rudolph is starting?
  11. You don’t think he’s better than Levis?
  12. I didn’t say the Titans are going to win…
  13. The line was 9.5 yesterday
  14. Not good news. Rudolph is much better than Levis. I thought he played well at Buffalo in the playoff game last year.
  15. Correct. The league is not declining in any objective sense. Ratings and attendance are higher than ever and the caliber of the athletes is as high or higher than ever, especially with the rise of mobile quarterbacks and the migration of the best athletes in the league to wide receiver. i do think the decline in youth football participation, although it is regional in nature, poses a real threat in that the talent pool is shrinking and less youth participation could mean fewer future fans. I think this is an important reason the league is trying to expand internationally.
  16. The Jets want to be a very good team. Right now they are mediocre at best, and if you told me they stink, I wouldn't disagree.
  17. The Jets are a "very good team"?
  18. With apologies to Winston Churchill, the NFL is the worst form of sporting entertainment, except for all those other sports that have been tried from time to time…
  19. This is a very bad matchup for the Jets, especially in Pittsburgh.
  20. I’d love Franklin on the Bills, but I’m pretty satisfied with Beane’s third and fourth rounded picks this year.
  21. Can’t wait for the Adams post-game presser after the Jets lose and he catches 3 balls for 24 yards.
  22. That’s debatable
  23. Aaron Rodgers will get the crap beat out of him by TJ Watt and the Jets will become the most awesome 2-5 team in NFL history.
  24. Seems like it’s written by a guy who has not watched the Bills this year…”Terrell Bernard, when healthy, has played decently at times” 😀 The time to get Dexter Lawrence was in the 2019 NFL draft, but Beane preferred to anchor his D-line with lil’ Ed.
  25. The bolded is absolutely not the case. Cooper had a career year last year, at age 29. Most observers attribute his slow start this year to the fact that he's been receiving passes from the worst starting quarterback in the NFL.
