Wouldn’t someone have to actually touch him first? -

If Worthy turns into another Tyreek Hill, I’d fire Beane’s a**. Just insane… -

Impressive drive for the Ravens. -
I think the Seahawks are going to surprise some people this year. Not saying they are a Super Bowl team, but they have a lot of top-end talent on both sides of the ball. Gino Smith, of course, is no franchise QB but I think he does enough to get them to the playoffs. I also think Mike McDonald is going to be a good head coach.

Yes, but pretty sure Solomon would have been inactive this week anyway. -

I love that one of these teams is going to open the season 0-1, although it didn't hurt KC much last year. -
Surprised (although I shouldn’t be) how few people are getting the Bills Cards broadcast. It’s a pretty attractive game…certainly better than NE and Cinci.

Just a reminder that people who run NFL franchises are no more intelligent than most folks who contribute on this forum, and in many cases are significantly dumber.

Joe Marino: 1/4 of Bills 2024 salary cap is dead cap!

Joe Marino: 1/4 of Bills 2024 salary cap is dead cap!

Context matters. When he was one of the Bills' first options (after Diggs checked out) Shakir put up numbers that were at least as good as Rice's. As I said, small sample size for both players, but I would expect them to put up comparable numbers this year. -

It's a small sample size for both players. For the first time in his career, Shakir is going to be the no. 1 or 2 option in the Bills' passing game this year. I would not give the edge to either player. -

How do you figure the Chiefs' WR room is better than the Bills? Hollywood Brown is on his third team and is always injured (and is injured now) and Worthy is a rookie who's proved nothing, just like Keon Coleman. Rasheed Rice and Shakir seem comparable, assuming Rice doesn't get suspended. Both teams have plenty of question marks here. This seems like a push. -

Marino did not necessarily disagree with the decisions that led to the Bills’ dead cap hit…what he said is that it’s a competitive disadvantage when teams like the Chiefs have a dead cap hit of less than $20 million. That’s a lot less money you have available to sign players. Simple fact. Doesn’t mean the Bills won’t be good, but it makes it harder. -
Good grief…

That’s nonsense. They open against Jacksonville and play the Jets twice, SF, Seattle and the Rams, just off the top of my head.

So, contrary to popular belief, there is no agreement (tacit or otherwise) between the NFL and the NCAA (or high school football) to leave Labor Day weekend alone. And of course the “ratings” argument was a myth, as well.
-
Watching football is hardly inconsistent with enjoying a family holiday. Feel free to tune out if you want.
-
I think you found your way to the wrong website.
-
That makes no sense. There is no such agreement. There was only one college game yesterday. Sunday was wide open for the NFL.
-
Funny, college football games played on Labor Day Weekend generate very respectable ratings…the ratings for Notre Dame-Texas A&M were the highest for any Saturday night game on ABC in the last two years, and Clemson-Georgia had even higher ratings. I think the idea of bad football ratings on Labor Day weekend is a myth. Fans are ready for football.

If he was "built different", Rodgers wouldn't have looked washed up two years ago.
