If they had some more reliable WRs and TT was known for hitting quick short passes, then yes. It's just about the odds of getting a couple first downs vs forcing KC to use their timeouts.

My problem with the strategy is that even by making KC burn their all timeouts, the Bills still gave the ball back with more than enough time for KC to go down the field and score.  If they could have taken the clock down to a minute left, I'd be OK with three straight runs there.  As it turned out, KC didn't run out of time; Smith just threw a pick...

What's going on here? Could it be the anti-agenda people having agendas after all?

Like it or not, he had the team ready to play yesterday.

I'm not quite sure what you're talking about, but a lot of people weren't too happy with the playcalling on the last possession--no effort to even make a first down, much less score.  Yes, we won, but a lot of folks are tired of play-not-to-lose Jauronball and recognize that it will at some point cost us a game.  And it's boring.

So would you take a one and done vs. a franchsie QB from next years draft?

Folks, this is a classic example of a rhetorical device known as a “false choice” or a “false dichotomy”.  There is no guarantee that failing to make the playoffs (or tanking) means we will draft a franchise QB, just as making the playoffs does not mean we will not draft one, especially with our Chiefs Pick becoming more valuable every week.

Get possibly ready for it.  If Tyrod isn't back next year which I think is the case....Alex Smith, Sam Bradford or other similar level vet player will probably be under center for us.

That would be awful...why bring in a bridge QB who is no better than Tyrod, will cost just as much, and is older?  Makes no sense.

Yep.  After about 5 weeks, I thought KC was going to the Super Bowl.  That's when the Pats didn't look like the Pats so I thought they'll be able to get over them this year.

Wow...what a landslide right now that's taking place in KC.  They were shutdown by the Giants....the Giants.

I think Alex Smith is showing that, when all is said and done, he is a 34-year old Alex Smith.  It’s mind-boggling that some people want the Bills to sign him for next year.

They won INSPITE of Dennison/McDermotts version of Jauron ball.

Hard to do anything as a QB when your OC rarely gives you a chance.

The Bills get a lead and go into a SHELL on offense.... by design.

How anyone could not see this is beyond me.  They went into a shell at the beginning of the second half, FFS.

We got a glimpse of what a 5th round rookie would look like....not every QB would perform like Peterman did.

In your first sentence, you think if lets say Carson Wentz was our QB....he would average around 185 yards passing in this offense?  No QB can be successful with Charles Clay, Kelvin Benjamin, Jordan Matthews, Zay Jones with Lesean McCoy in the running game?

In how many games have all those guys been healthy?  Or even most of them?

WRT last week, it was a data point.  You can certainly question how meaningful it was, but it surely means something.

  8. I’m not convinced any qb in the league would perform much better than Tyrod has in this offense, with these WRs and this OL, with Dennison calling the plays and McDermott going full-turtle every time the team takes a lead in the second half.  We got a glimpse last week of how other QBs might do in tyrod’s shoes and it was not pretty.
