  1. So he sucks based one half of one game? Is he also playing defensive back for Houston? What a horrible take.
  2. Yeah, I mean, who want a second-year QB who leads his team to 11-5 (with a horrible offensive line), throws for over 4000 yards, YPA over 8.2, and rushes for 600 yards? Definitely overrated. All while coming off a serious knee injury.?
  3. Yep, I thought Donald would be the pick at 9, if we stayed there. Just too good to pass up.
  4. Donald had (and has) a relentlessness and love of the game that I don’t see in Oliver. In the two games i watched this year, he was nearly invisible. I guess we’ll find out...
  5. And despite his incredible production at Pitt, Donald lasted until the 14th pick. I don’t understand why Oliver is being hyped as a top 3 pick. I think he’s going to drop like a stone.
  6. It does not strike me as particularly good, no. In his senior year at Pitt, Aaron Donald (the guy some have tried to compare Oliver to) had 28 TFL and 11 sacks, against better competition. There is nothing “generational” about Oliver; he is an over-hyped bust-in-waiting. I will not be at all surprised if he’s available at 9 and I’ll be very unhappy if we pick him.
  7. Never. The Redskins would not even trade their second and third this year to move up to 9 in this draft. We’d maybe get a second in the deal, with possibly a fifth rounder thrown in.
  8. I stopped reading when I got to the part where you said the Redskins would give us their second and third round picks this year, plus next year’s first, to move up from 16 to 9.
  9. Were you impressed by his thoroughly mediocre season in the amazing Conference USA?
  10. It doesn’t matter what Pegs tells them now. If things unravel in 2019, they are toast. That’s just the way it is.
  11. Can’t see this regime trading for a ‘20 first rounder. They need to win in ‘19.
  12. I agree, but Pitt is very deep at WR and they probably think JuJu can be the guy in the future.
  13. I did not know AB was already 30. I’m not sure I give up that pick for him, unless this draft is just devoid of WR talent, which probably isn’t the case. Maybe 9 overall for AB, and get back a 4th from Pitt. The Steelers already have AB’s replacement on the roster...
  14. AB is a great player at a position of dire need and he’s shown no sign of slowing down. It worked out pretty well for Dallas this year, and AB is a better player than Cooper. OTH, Brown has some baggage, Pittsburgh’s bargaining position is somewhat compromised, and 9 overall is a very valuable pick. Tough decision...i might do it, esp if they don’t have any WR rated that high.
  15. Great. Sign some run-stuffing DTs and LBs in free agency. They are very inexpensive and they're easy to find. Do not use the 9th overall pick on this. We need offensive playmakers and O-linemen. Period.
  16. How’d that work out? Why do football coaches love to punt so much?
  17. You were never very good at math, were you? Really does have much to do with trusting your defense. Kentucky was going to get the ball back no matter what. Adding 3 points there is nearly worthless. It’s just a horrible decision.
  18. No. It was the wrong decision every single time, regardless of the result.
  19. PSU down 6 points. 4 minutes left. 4 and 6 on Kentucky 12. Kicks FG. Kentucky gets ball back and runs out the clock.
  20. Looks like analytics hasn’t made its way to Penn State yet. What a horrific coaching blunder.
  21. If the Bills are satisfied with the current RBs for 2019, then there is a big problem. Probably should use two mid-late round picks on RB this year.
  22. How do you think McDermott has done against the Pats? Do you agree that he was roadkill this past Sunday? I can certainly see why you want him to be retained.
  23. And other than Houston, all blowouts losses, including Green Bay. Congratulations!
  24. I’ve got nothing against Cowher; he’s certainly more knowledgeable than a lot of talking heads out there, but the opinions I’ve read about the Bills in the national media are generally so uninformed that I question whether most of them have ever watched a Bills game. Like it or not, the Bills are invisible to pretty much everyone who isn’t from WNY, and for good reason. They’ve been irrelevant—not to mention boring—for a very long time.
