  1. From what I read, the dead cap hit would be significant, but manageable for Houston. It’s never really happened before, but Houston is in a uniquely difficult predicament. Maybe it’s not likely, but it’s possible, and actually makes some sense. It should not be dismissed out of hand.
  2. What scares me most about the Ravens is how well coached they are, in all three phases. Kinda like Indy.
  3. I don’t remember that about the Raiders game (I know it was cold but don’t remember snow), but I do remember Kelly shredding the Dolphins in the snow in the divisional game.
  4. Well, now we know that those who were praying for the Steelers were right. That’s a bad football team. How they were ever 11-0 is one of the great mysteries...
  5. Revisiting this post 36 hours after the Bills won their first playoff game in 25 years, largely because our kicker was better than the Colts’ kicker.
  6. We’re at the point where we can afford a first round rb like him.
  7. Exactly why you don’t punt in 4th and 1
  8. Kareem Hunt was available for free ...
  9. Got any better ideas? They have no cap room, no draft picks and a depleted roster. They won 4 games with Watson. Yes
  10. We got away from our identity too often yesterday. Forget about trying to establish the run. We need to let Josh outscore teams by throwing, and throwing some more. We’re just not going to win defensive slugfests with this team.
  11. Agreed. They always show up for the playoffs. It would be a tough matchup.
  12. Looks like even more. Good for them.
  13. Wrong. The previous poster mentioned the possibility of a Bills-Titans AFC championship game. He said that was impossible, which it’s not. Try to keep up.
  14. No, he’s not. It’s entirely possible for the Bills to play the Titans in the AFC title game.
  15. Yep. The Ravens can’t play from behind.
  16. Marginal. Both guys fighting for position. Brown’s just more physical.
  17. I don’t think a game-wrecking d-lineman would have made much difference yesterday. Playing against Rivers is like playing against Brady; the ball comes out very fast and it’s almost impossible to sack him, especially with that offensive line in front of him. Washington’s d-line is full of game-wreckers and they didn’t get near Brady all night. I do agree the defense has to do better, but I think it’s the coverages that need to improve.
  18. Makes sense. Don’t know if SF has enough premium picks to make it happen, though. Would make the Niners very scary.
  19. This has seemingly been the case forever
