  1. Obviously, Rodgers is great, but he doesn't have to do heroic things in this offense...Another reason JA is MVP. Stats just don't tell the whole story...
  2. When you have a potent running game, that's always an option... He wasn't good before the injury...
  3. This blowout is going to give me time to get some work done before the Bills game. I wonder how many many more seasons McVay will stick with Goff; he seems to be regressing.
  4. This has all the markings of a blowout. Packers go down and score here and it's over.
  5. Packers aren’t losing this game... If they let him play...
  6. Packers have a very strong running game—a huge advantage that Aaron Rodgers has over Josh Allen, who has none (other than his own runs). And Green Bay’s backs are big, north-south runners, exactly what we don’t have.
  7. Fair enough. I went back and read all your posts in this thread, and I'm not quite sure where you come down on the issue. You do seem to support Watson's right to try to influence the Texans' path...
  8. Seems that way to me. Aren't you complaining about the players trying to "run the league"? Or did I miss something?
  9. 🤮. It's not rational, but those ads have made me despise Pat Mahomes...
  10. Let me make it simpler for you...Why are you so offended by the notion that players can use their leverage over owners to influence the trajectory of their careers? It seems to me that Watson has every reason to be disgusted with the Texans' franchise. He's been a model citizen and franchise QB since the day he was drafted...and the organization has been a dumpster fire, at least for the last two years. Ownership handed over total control of football operations to a megalomaniacal jackass who left the franchise in a very deep hole, with no clear way to get out of it. Why the hell shouldn't Watson want to have some input on the teams' GM and coaching hires? And why shouldn't they listen to him?
  11. Garappolo is probably the Pats’ best option for 2021. That being said, he was exposed in the Super Bowl and probably has Kirk Cousins ceiling. He could certainly be effective in NE if they get some more weapons, which, fortunately, they have proven remarkably incompetent at doing...
  12. Glad you’re not playing...you’re not, right?
  13. Why are you so offended by this notion (not that it’s true)? Do you own a team?
  14. Well, many guys doing mocks are try to predict who the teams will draft, not necessarily who the best players are, so we have to define our terms. But it would not surprise me one bit if you did a study and found that well-informed amateurs are at least as successful in picking the best players as the actual GMs. Studies in other fields, including medicine, have consistently shown that having more information available to you and more “training” isn’t necessarily better, so just saying that GMs have a ton of info available to them doesn’t answer the question.
  15. Then why bring him up from the practice squad?
  16. Yeah, I love Chris Simms, but those jingles are asinine and totally cringe-worthy. Just stop...
  17. Hard to believe the Jests would take Sewell a year after landing Becton, the best LT in the 2020 class...
  18. I had one thought after listening to this podcast: The Bills could not possibly have a better leader/franchise QB than Josh Allen. It is no wonder this guy is loved by his teammates and coaches. We are very fortunate.
  19. I agree. I’d much rather be the Bills. But the Phins are going to be a pain in the ass for a while. Neither will have much of a chance to dethrone Buffalo until they find a QB. But they can still be tough opponents. And they might find a QB.
  20. Don’t look now, but the Jests have a good GM and a ton of draft picks, too. They are only about a year behind Miami...
  21. It’s Simms, not Sims. His dad is the Super Bowl-winning QB for the Ny Giants. Same last name.
  22. 🦬 41 Baltimore 13 Ravens get behind early, and things snowball...
