  1. Yes, it sure was. Hill did not even know it was a catch.
  2. That’s is a huge move in the betting line. I’ve never seen a swing like that absent major injury news involving a QB.
  3. I’m not putting much stock in Simms’s Niners prediction. I love his analysis, but he’s lousy at picking games, and he’s absolutely in love with Kyle Shanahan.
  4. Just goes to show that NFL coaches often don't even know their own personnel. See Pederson in Philly, for another example.
  5. He's not even paying attention to the game. The Washington catch was not "contested". It was right in his hands, with no defender "contesting" anything.
  6. Definitely. The Jets had a very nice draft this year. If he stays healthy, Becton is going to be a perennial All-Pro. Great building block. Add Lawrence and a bunch of other picks in the 2021 draft (including whatever they can fleece from someone for Darnold) and they’ve got instant respectability. Just need the right coach...
  7. True, and Pederson seems to have attended the Doug Marrone Charm School, so it’s not inconceivable that he’s rubbed some people the wrong way in that building...
  8. Lynn should have been fired the second he suggested Tyrod would return as the starting quarterback when his lung healed. I’m sure Herbert wouldn’t lose any sleep over having to learn a new system if it means he doesn’t have to deal with the likes of Tony Lynn any more. I can’t see Pederson being in serious trouble, unless there’s something personal between him and Lurie, which is possible. The Super Bowl shine takes a long time to fade away, and I don’t think it’s fair to blame him for Wentz’s collapse. He’d probably get a new HC gig immediately.
  9. Where would I find the Hyde video? Some people forget that all these guys are incredible athletes, from Josh Allen, down to the defensive linemen on the practice squad and the kickers. (Kyle Williams was one of the best athletes on the team.). They are all alpha males, who were multi-sport stars of their HS and youth sports teams, and I’d bet almost every one of the skill position players played QB (and probably point guard and pitcher too) at some point in their sports careers.
  10. Against Tampa in week 4, Herbert threw TD passes to three different UDFAs.
  11. Poyer also started at QB for his HS team, for two seasons. He went to a small school but was a phenomenal athlete.
  12. That’s not who they’ve had for much of the season. Herbert put up 300 yard games throwing to mostly UDFAs. And the LA online is worse than philly’s.
  13. Thanks for the link to those advertisements.
  14. With all due respect, you sound like Brian Griese. Wentz is completely shot. He can’t process what’s in front of him and can’t get the ball to open receivers (yes, there are plenty of those). The o-line and WRs aren’t great, but they aren’t any worse than what Herbert has to work with, and they are miles better than what Allen had in 2018. If Pederson deserves criticism, it’s for not playing Hurts.
  15. Zero chance of Pederson accepting an OC job and only slightly greater chance of him getting canned. It’s not Pederson’s fault that Wentz sucks, although he does deserve some blame for leaving him out there.
  16. Yep. Garappolo’s limitations were exposed in the Super Bowl, but he’s miles better than Mullins, who’s below average as a back up.
  17. Look how different our offense is with Brown healthy...now imagine it with Metcalf Imagine if they were playing against a real defense...
  18. Wow. Only 37 years ago. Love the Van Miller call!
  19. And a hero to just as many😄
  20. Here’s a question: Have the Bills EVER completed a Hail Mary pass? I’ve been a Bills fan for 36 years and I can’t recall one.
  21. Fulgrahm is good, Reagor is fast and has potential, Jeffrey has lost a step but he knows what he’s doing. And Goedert is a very good TE. It’s a way better group than the Bills had a couple years back.
  22. Are you serious? They aren’t great, but he is absolutely awful. Can’t get rid of the ball, can’t find open guys. Horrible decision making. Absolutely no reason for him to be out there. Brian Griese is an all-time idiot, by the way.
  23. They are plenty good enough. He is simply unable to deliver the ball. He’s not an NFL-caliber QB anymore.
