  1. Some have Campbell ranked quite a bit higher than 5th...
  2. When did Holland run a 4.7? If true, that would take him off my board. It means he definitely can’t play CB in the league.
  3. CB will be the pick at 30 or 61. Count on it.
  4. Does Christian Darrisaw have a twin brother named Christian Darrisaw? He said there were “a lot of the same picks” and he meant it.
  5. Guy has all the tools and went 8-1 in the SEC with a bunch of JAGs at WR. Three year starter, too. I don’t know why he isn’t talked about as a sure-fire first rounder.
  6. Could work in our favor...no way a surefire edge rusher like Chase Young would be available at 30 anyway...those guys always go in the top 10.
  7. Thanks! Might explain why the Niners are all-in on Mac Jones...I do not believe for a second they are taking Fields or Lance.
  8. Any discussion of Kellen Mond or Mac Jones?
  9. Kinda surprising that no QBs have come off the board since Lance at 8. I fully expect Kellen Mond and maybe Trask to be gone by this point in the draft.
  10. Would love to hear what they said about Phillips and Dyami Brown...
  11. It would be nice to not play in Tampa on opening night. September games in Florida are especially tough because of the weather...
  12. Thanks! I'd love to have any of those four WRs...Toney in particular has insane YAC ability, something our receivers seem to lack.
  13. If someone like Farley or Paye is available at 25 or 26, I could see a move up to get him, but I don't think Beane will be willing to give up what it will take to move up more than that.
  14. Look at some of the RBs who have gone in round 3 recently...plenty of guys with less talent than Hawkins...
  15. OK, but the bet is that Hawkins is gone by the end of day 2, in other words round 3 or sooner.
  16. Hawkins won't be available in round 5, but if he is, great. I'm guessing he comes off the board no later than round 3. The one element that's missing from the Bills' offense is speed. Even Diggs is not a burner. They need at least one more playmaker who is a homerun threat every time he gets the ball and I think adding one at RB makes sense, especially if it's in the third round or later. I think they should also be looking to add someone like Dyami Brown, Elijah Moore or Rondale Moore at WR for the same reason.
  17. Agreed, but Mac Jones did not accomplish what he did without being able to make plays outside the pocket. Yeah, his team was very talented, but they weren't playing against scrubs.
  18. As a pro prospect, yes, especially for the Bills, who lack speed at RB...
  19. I'll admit that Jones isn't much of a threat to run with the ball--at least he never had to do it at Alabama--but Burrow isn't exactly Josh Allen, or even Justin Herbert.
  20. I don't buy that Burrow is that much more athletic than Jones. Jones ran a 4.8 at his pro day, which is more than adequate. I can't find a 40 time for Burrow, since his pro day was cancelled and he did not run at the combine, but it's unlikely he's much faster than 4.8. The fact that Jones wasn't a basketball star probably isn't much of an indicator of his potential as an NFL QB, otherwise Charlie Ward would have been a star in the NFL.
  21. Carter is faster than Williams and he always, always beats the first defender...
  22. You might be right, of course, but that seems like an awfully subjective standard and a pretty thin basis for one guy being the consensus number 1 pick and the other guy a borderline first rounder...Both played pretty much perfect football in their last seasons in CFB, and both had similarly astounding supporting casts, so it won't do to say "But Jones was at Alabama..."
  23. With all due respect, I don't know how you can make this statement.
