1. Ya that smog was hiding the hole in the ozone layer
2. Wow!! did they grow from the last time I saw them two years ago. Good picture Jay; I know you are a proud dad...and you have a right to be Enjoy them while they are young for once the teenage years hit kids tend to evolve into their own little world. Seems like yesterday that I was taking our grand nieces and nephew to training camp and they couldn't wait to go. Today I mention it (if I can get them to take off their headsets off for a minute!!) and the 2 oldest (14 & 16) look at me like I am some sort of zombie, muttering in a language I still can't figure out
3. This place won't be the same without him. 702257 No it won't be Rest in Peace my friend
4. National tradition here in PR for people to drive ultra-slow in the left lane; many times with the four-ways on And IM not taking about broken down junk cars either. This is practiced all the time on the expressways Another pastime is to have the opposite turn signal on when you turn. I haven't been able to figure this one out yet. Maybe the people here all have ESP. IM no mind reader, so needless to say this has led to some close calls driving. I won't post here what people have said with fists shaking...anyway its in Spanish and something is always lost in the translation
5. I agree Niagara-on the Lake is better suited for adults. On the drive up however there is the Butterfly Museum which kids love ( and adults also) and interesting for all ages is the Floral Clock. If you go check out the back to see the workings of the clock.
6. not to my knowledge New owners the last 2-3 years; really "kid friendly" if You have youngsters Darien Lake is nice also, especially the water parks. Around 10 or so rides for little kids, with many more for the "12" plus kids
7. She has a 1999 or something Dodge Stratus that I can't wait to send over a cliff somewhere. 693485 Good place for it
8. Wife and I were out shopping a few weeks ago and while at a stoplight, she points to one and asks me what it is? My reply short and to the point......"JUNK" Mark is right worst piece of tinfoil on the road Sure the gas milage is good, the question though is how much do you value your life to drive one
9. Good read...thanks I hope this kid can turn this over, move on, and be a good player for the Bills
10. Oh, oh !!! Don't tell em that; they'll go sit in a corner, cry and suck their thumbs
11. you probably have no idea who any of these players are anyway 677476 Way off base youngster! Mark spends hours watching game films, reading, and watching more film on players. he has been doing this for only 25 years or so. I'm going on 40 years doing the same. Not as much in recent years as I would like, so I pick Mark's brain for info on which players to watch. Mark has the ability to see and evaluate the see the small almost unnoticable things a player might do on the field during a game! not at some workout! And last the most important aspect , evaluating what players might FIT the Bills scheme. Especially on defense! I don't post here as much as I used to because of junk like this. Why, what's the sense of posting as I have in the past, any info that I might have from the "Bills". Last time I did some idiot here wanted a link! Haven't worked for the Bills in 14 years or so; so what do I know? I just sit at RWS when I can and watch my beloved Buffalo Bills practice. Talk with old friends; listen and learn. I realize that this concept if foreign to many here, but given time some "might get it". If they grow up. The Bills got some damm good football players and every hole on this team wasn't going to filled in one off-season. Sure I would have been happier if an offensive lineman was picked earlier, but the utter immaturity of many of these post leads me to believe that The Stadium Wall has been hijacked by a bunch of eigth graders from Fish land!
12. I'd love to see Marv push the envelope but just like was mentioned above fixation on one specific player will make teams do strange things in the draft....... when the seconds are ticking, ticking, ticking Can it happen again-absolutely!! BUT I wouldn't bet the house money on it Many teams have bet the if-comes and have been burned
13. Hmmm, wishful thinking Asto? Point vaule chart only equates to a third. Buffalo 8th spot= 1400 points Cleveland 12th spot= 1200 points 1400 - 1200 = 200 200 points falls in the range of picks 71 thru 75 in the third round. Still could get a very decent player there in this deep draft. BTW I think You are on the money with the Justice pick
14. If ( and that's a big if) the Bills can trade down this will be their pick but I don't totally dismiss the idea of the Bills drafting Justice at 8 IMHO. Don't believe (and I don't mean you specifically) all the disinformation floating around. Teams feed the wolves anything but what their true intentions are. Of course it will probably be a trade when the Bills are on the clock. These deals are always made at the last minute.
15. Ha-Ha-Ha...You must have one of dem dar teenagers around the house ain't life grand
16. John Butler was a good person. The last time I talked to him was at Jeff Burris's wedding on the steps of the church. Our last words were when I asked him if he was going to the reception. His reply that he felt really tired and drained and was going to skip it. JB had quit smoking by then; but IMHO I think he might have known that something was seriously wrong health wise, upon reflection. Someday IM going to ask Marv Levy when it was that JB told him that he had the Big C. IM not a betting man but if I was, I would bet that he told Marv before he departed for San Diego. John Butler really loved it here (it just wasn't football...it was BILLS FOOTBALL) and the only reason, again IMHO, that he left was to gain a little financial security for his family.
17. Oh is that ALL that's falling....Thank God!! for a second I thought it was the sky wonder how many "fans" will still be around next year this time if the Bills don't have a wiining season I've seen em come and I've seen em go
18. That's wonderful news Chris. I hope and pray it stays in remission.
19. Missed being named Partick by about 12 minutes or so ! Never mattered as years ago it used to be a two week drunk anyhoo
20. Never underestimate the power of prayer....just be careful what you pray for
21. You wern't late Ann Thank You again my friends; had a very good dinner at a very nice restaurant. No wonder the orders were to wear a suit and tie
