The great Bills offense of 1990 with Kelly and Thurman, which was #1 in the league, averaged 200 yards passing and 130 yards rushing per game. 130 yards per game was pretty awesome back then.
The Bills are currently #4 in the NFL in rushing at 140.9 yards per game. We're also #10 in scoring at 24.7 points per game.
Interesting. I know Mulligan has struggled with some things, but it seemed like the coaches liked him. Hope that means O'Leary has been showing improvement over time.
Are our LBs really that bad? Rex just praised Spencer for his game last week, and I thought we all like Brown. Isn't that just one LB spot that is bad right now?
It really was an impressive performance against a strong defense. The same was true against the Jets defense. When this offense is on, it can match up with anybody.
Honestly, despite a few head scratching throws, I can't imagine how anyone would be uncomfortable with a first-year starter who threw for 3TDs, ran for another, and has had 0 INTS in 6 straight games.
Who said it was sarcasm? He played a pretty great game. But he did have a few very questionable throws, and at least one very close pick-6.
Not a big deal, though...every QB throws a few head scratchers, even the best. I'm happy with him.
