God you must be young. First off all Marshawn in his prime may have the edge on Fred Jackson in his prime, but it is close. I feel sorry for both you and Fred Jackson. I feel sorry for Fred Jackson because he is so underrated by so many. Not too many Bills fans I don't think, but definitely people who just write Buffalo off as a joke. New England fans probably understand how good he is. I feel sorry for you because you can't see greatness when it is in front of you. Fred Jackson has always produced on horrible teams, with horrible offenses and horrible quarterbacks. Actually produced is the wrong word. I should say dominated. He may not be fast but is in the 99th percentile of all RB's in NFL history in terms of shiftyness and inticipation. He always hits the right hole and knows better than anyone else in the game how to shift he body while in motion and make defenders miss. If Fred Jackson had spent his career with Brady and the Patriots instead of with the Bills and the QB carousel, he would easily, easily be a Hall of Famer. Oh yea I almost forgot. There was this other guy in the early 90's. Maybe you have heard of him. I think his name was Thurman Thomas. You know the NFL MVP in 1991. He had over 2,000 yards from scrimmage twice and led the nfl in yards from scrimmage 4 freaking years in a row. Had Norwood made that kick, he easily would have been Super Bowl 25 MVP. Marshawn is great, but he is Thurman Thomas was better. I would take Marshawn back in a second. If he had stayed the Marshawn/Fred combo might have got us to the playoffs by now. That said everything you have said regarding Marshawn in comparison to Fred Jackson and other Bills running backs sound completely ignorant.

Unfortunately we have one of the few NFL franchises where the fans understand the game better than the front office. It's freaking pathetic. If Hackett is here next season our offense will suck again and we will be hoping we can make the playoffs in year 17.

He has been the one holding all the major press conferences over the last few years and the one pumping up his chest about how he and those under are going to turn this franchise around. We are not talking about players here. I think it is pretty obvious the players aren't the ones who make free agent and draft decisions, just like they don't hire the head coaches and general managers. Your Fred Jackson point is just ridiculous. How about Nix, Whaley and Marrone? They are all great too right? Anyone who criticizes them must be making a "genius post". Everything they did was so wonderful and the Bills still missing the playoffs is just bad luck. What I think is you are a giant homer. We just need to keep drafting one every year until we find a QB. Great QB's hit FA once a decade and then you have to convince them to come here. Time to stop ignoring the QB position. Nix was here for 4 drafts and drafted one in the 7th and then reached on Manuel because he backed himself into a corner. Completely unacceptable. If Whaley stays he has to take a guy in the 2nd or 3rd. If they really believe in Hundley trade the 2016 first to move up and get him. If Whaley is here and doesn't draft a QB on day 1 or 2, I will lose all faith in him.

I don't care if he was only the defacto GM. He has been the face of the franchise for about the last 5-6 years. He has had a major role in the organization during the entire playoff drought. When you hear him on the radio and other media outlets, he talks like he is still running the show. I am sorry but we can't keep this guy. He may be a very good marketer, a nice guy and all that other jazz. The simple fact is he has been a major part of the losing culture that has persisted for the last 15 years. The last time a team had a playoff drought that lasted this long was in the mid 80's. The last decade and a 1/2 has been historically bad. I will be worried that Pegula is too nice if he doesn't drop the hammer on Brandon. I really like Whaley but I would have no problem showing him the door as well.

Russell Wilson was the consensus pick when we were up in the 3rd round in 2012. Just like Ngata was the pick when we took Whitner, and Orakpo was the pick when we took Maybin. Hell, the Seahawk scout who scouted him was asked in a recent ESPN interview if he was worried about Buffalo taking him. He answered with an emphatic yes. If we had done what we should have and drafted Wilson, we would probably be winning the Super Bowl this year. Instead Buddy got cute and took T.J. freaking Graham. Buddy Nix continuously stated that finding a franchise QB was his number 1 priority. Yet he ignored the position for 3 straight drafts, only to reach on someone on his way out the door. He only had to reach because of his previous negligence and his big mouth. Five full seasons after Buddy took over and still no playoffs.

I expect him to have a big season on his new team next season.

Our offense looked as bad as it ever has. We are probably finishing 8-8. It is certainly not a good season. Peoples standards have become so low that we now celebrate 8-8, embarrassing.

People who think we have no chance to get a great, proven coach if we can Marrone need to get over their own self loathing. Pegula will be willing to pay top dollar for coach and in free agency. We have a great defense already in place. We have great young receivers. There are only 32 of these jobs and these guys want their place in history. If you win a Super Bowl in Buffalo your place in history is cemented. Maybe with Ralph this job was not desirable, but now I think we fire Pegula it very likely we bring in a super star coach. Enough of this weak ass nobody will come to Buffalo garbage. It is simply not true and the people who carry on about it look sad.

Wow man. I couldn't be more relaxed. I asked a serious question on your opinion of Hackett and your response was basically I am angry and a hippocrate.
