  1. The Bills weren't a great pass rushing team last season?
  2. Well the one thing the Bills did better than anyone else in the league (rushing the passer) is likely over.
  3. I mostly like Whaley and forgave him for the Watkins trade but I am seriously doubting whether he gets it or not.
  4. He didn't sit out. He came in at the end of camp and got injured.
  5. We aren't hitting our cap without a great QB unless Whaley makes some absolutely horrendous signings. We are over $30 million under with most of the roster and big time positions in place. yes
  6. Actually players who are tagged almost always arrive just before training camp. If Hughes were to hold out until week 8, he would be leaving $7 million on the table.
  7. Whaley basically said on WGR that Spikes, Searcy and Spiller are all gone. That leaves Hughes. If we don't resign him, then we let every of our important free agents walk. I am not sure if Whaley gets it.
  8. First off-season with Pegula as owner and we are going to let everyone of our free agents walk. Then we are going to spend a 2nd on a RB in a deep RB draft. This is Whaley's make or break off-season and it is not off to a good start.
  9. For one year in a season where you are not going to hit the cap anyways, you wouldn't want him at that price??? Please it is not like Pegula is asking to borrow a twenty from you to get it done. If we lose Hughes for nothing, it is just terrible asset management.
  10. The Colts have piss poor management. They trade Jerry Hughes for Kelvin Sheppard. They trade a first for Trent Richardson who was already showing high bust potential. Without being gifted Luck, they would be a perrennial loser for the foreseeable future.
  11. Bryce Petty and Brett Hundley will go on day 2 or early on day 3.
  12. I am in my car most of the day for work so naturally being a giant sports fan I listen to WGR.. From 10:00-12:00 I am listening to anything but WGR. Hockey Hotline is the most brutal show ever. Kevin is flat out rude to a lot of the callers and condescending to his listeners. He thinks he is some sort of hockey genius and needs to dumb things down for his listeners while talking to them like children. Peters has some insightful knowledge but if it were up to him, McDavid and Eichel would spend 3 years in the AHL before getting a chance to make the NHL and Matt Ellis would lead the league in ice time. He also pretty much lost all credibility last summer when suggesting the Sabres trade their 2015 first for Ryan Johannsen. Just a brutal listen.
  13. I agree with all of this. Jackson, Wood, Williams and Williams are not going to let him get out of line and they will have Terry's ear. If Richie messes up even if it's just in the locker room and none of us ever hear the specifics, I don't think they will hesitate to show him the door.
  14. If this guy didn't have the off-field issues he would be a 4-5 million dollar a year guard. We are getting a steal at 2.25. Now we can go out and sign a quality LG at market price and have a great offensive line next year, with plenty off money left to resign Hughes and maybe add another high quality free agent. I realize this guy is pretty much a piece of trash. That said I have seen much biggers pieces of trash get more as many if not more chances than he has. I hope him seeing pychriactric treatment was something he took seriously and I would hope he is still taking counseling. If this guy can keep his head right for one season, we definitely took a big step towards being a nasty offensive line the excels at blocking for the run.
  15. All I am going to say is the first time Lebron was a free agent he had a big show a few days before free agency started. It was one of the few times I ever called in and I said look for Lebron to team up with Bosh and Rose in Chicago, or Bosh and Wade in Miami. He then started to criticize my point with things like "Do you think Lebron really wants to play with other stars", amongst other things. Before I was given a chance to respond he hung up on me and continued to criticize my opinion. While he is not the biggest hack at WGR, he is at least half of one.
  16. If anyone thinks we are winning a Super Bowl with a bunch of choir boys they are mistaken. The guy may be a jerk but last I checked, he hasn't raped anyone, murdered and dogs, or killed another human being while driving drunk. The problem today is everyone gets on social media to condem the mistakes of others as if they are all angles with no problems of their own. Incognito is a human being and humans make mistakes.
  17. If we could get Iupati for 5 mil per,I would be doing back flips. Best run blocking guard in football.
  18. I know people like to say "we can't spend that kind of money on a guard" in terms of Iupati, but I think that is a little short sighted. We are paying our starting QB peanuts. As long as we are not putting a lot of money into the QB position, we should be able to pay for the best free agent offensive lineman available. If we sign Iupati to say a 4 or 5 year deal for big bucks, by the time we draft and develop a QB, and that QB is ready for his big contract, the Iupati contract and other big contracts will be coming off the books. I am in favor of signing Iupati. Then you have Glenn, Iupati, Wood, Igcognito most likey, Henderson/Free Agent. I think it would be a good idea to bring in a mid tier vet at tackle who will give Henderson some cometition if training camp for the RT position and provide depth. Those players to me along with improved coaching could be one of the best lines in the league and the difference between 9-7 and 11-5/12-4.
  19. You are totally discounting the situation of the game. Kearse just had a devestating catch and the Seahawks easily gained 4 on first and we're half a yard away. If they are smart they get up quickly and run the same play or a QB sneak and it is a TD barring a fluke fumble. All you need to win the Super Bowl is a 6 inch push against a reeling defense. Instead you decide to run a play where a few things need to go right to be successful. No matter what you or anyone else says, nobody will ever convince me that this is anything other than the worst call in NFL history and it was.
  20. I do not care at all. If it is the Patriots they are at the line running a QB sneak before the Seahawks know what hit them, or they are making the Seahwaks use one of their timeouts so they can gather themselves. Also putting your legacy in the hands of Lockett, your number 4 reciever is incredibly dumb. Expecting Kearse to push one of the best and stronger corners in the league in Browner into the endzone is another terrible call. Terrible call all the way around.
  21. What would the Patriots do if the roles were reversed? They would be lined up and running a QB sneak before the Seahawks knew what hit them. The Seahawks definitely outsmarted themselves.
