  1. I wouldn't mind Galisano as the owner of the Bills. A major league franchise owners needs to be the biggest fan of their team. Galisano just wasn't for the Sabres. It just seems he bought them due to them being in danger to leave town, being bankrupt, and selling for a very cheap price. I don't think that would be the case with the Bills, who are a money-maker (unlike the Sabres) and because he genuinely seems to love them.
  2. This guy needs to be thrown in jail for life and have the **** beaten out if him on a daily basis.
  3. If this guy is really doing this to avoid injury, I don't care how good he is. I would avoid him like the plague. This me first attitude will only become amplified once in the NFL. He's the type that would hold-out for top defender money after 3 years of his rookie contract.
  4. It's very simple. The player in question (Byrd) has no value on our football team. He is refusing to play, didn't want to sign a long-term deal with us, and in all likelihood may never play another down as a Bill. Why let him go for free? As for Johnson, I don't think trading a target for EJ is a good idea.
  5. They should definitely trade him. He's been no use to us crying on the side-line. But he still does have some value, trade value. Get at least a 2nd from him. Remember, we picked Kiko up in the 2nd.
  6. This team would be downright awesome with Chan as OC and Pettine as HC.
  7. Really, it's going to be hard to let Carpenter go once Hopkins is healthy.
  8. IR him, then place the FT back on him next offseason. I think it's time the Bills made an example of someone that they're not going to cave to player demands anymore.
  9. "Locking him up" won't make a difference. If, at any point in the near future, he feels he wants to play for a different team or wants to be paid more, a long-term contract wouldn't matter. See: Peters.
  10. There's more to this story. There always is.
  11. Unfortunately: http://www.chargers.com/news/article-1/Bolts-sign-cornerback-Crezdon-Butler/06c650ee-ec7d-4a14-8f7d-c11b7af43560
  12. Amazing. Perhaps he should be getting more touches than CJ.
  13. Scheme? I've never viewed RB as a position that is scheme-specific. Looks like having a decent RB was a liability to them losing out. At least Indy was slightly less blatant.
  14. Interesting. Exactly what do you mean by "ADD-inspired". Explain that one.
  15. I'm sure Marrone was looking over Hackett's shoulder the whole game, so I wouldn't point my finger solely at Hackett, more so Marrone.
  16. Let's remember, he was originally drafted as a change-of-pace scat back. His job was to make the offense more dynamic, not be a work horse. That said, he was also drafted to catch a bunch of balls out of the backfield, which he did today, but just not effectively.
  17. I wonder if Bellicheat has a special interrogation room in their stadium. A dark room with a single wooden chair and a bright overhead light.
  18. Trade him. To Jax or the Raiders. Get a 2nd for him. One less Parker player means one less headache. And don't draft any more players represented by him. I think Leonhard was brought in for this very reason.
  19. I think it would've been more appropriate to dust off and bump the ole Manti thread.
  20. I think that's pretty much accurate. Btw, when is Dareus's contract year? That's when he'll find his game.
  21. In honesty, the Bills usually give the Pats a challenge in their initial games (at least during the first 2 quarters). It's all downhill from there. This is a pure cheat move. Nothing surprising though.
  22. #1 - The players have repeatedly endorsed the use of the FT in their CBAs. #2 - Byrd knew if he didn't sign a long term deal, he would be tagged (or continue to be tagged). He chose not to, so basically he chose the tag. #3 - He being paid the current market for a player of his position. You can't blame the Bills for that. #4 - That's his prerogative.
