  1. No. But when a poster writes overly strong opinions, almost to the point of being unreasonable, they should be reminded if it. That's all.
  2. Exactly. There were an awful amount of very strong opinions on here. We can go back through the thread and call them out by names I guess. This should serve as a wake-up call for Marrone and the Bills. Again, how arrogant of them to cut Rogers. Looked pretty good today. We'll wait a couple more games, then we'll let you know.
  3. Schuab was an excellent QB, just as early as last season. I'm not sure why he has stunk it up so much this year, but he's a starter if he can get back to where he was. In fact, Schuab is 1-2 years ago is better than EJ now.
  4. This will never, never happen. Marrone is a former OC and has hand-selected Hackett. Firing Hackett and hiring Kubiak would indicate: 1) Marrone exercised poor judgement in regards to hiring Hackett. And 2) Marrone is not a good enough offensive mind and leader to right-the-ship by either (a) mentoring Hackett better or (b) assuming offensive control of the team himself. In effect, the only way we are hiring Kubiak is if Marrone is fired himself. Besides, I don't know what happened to Matt Schuab. At one point, before this season, he was an excellent QB. The type of QB, on the right team, could probably get you deep into the post-season.
  5. But the intent was a stupid prank. Glad this case was thrown out. Use the courts to bring justice to real criminals.
  6. Buddy stepped down though, was not fired. Besides, these guys didn't expose anything about Nix people didn't already know. It was Nix's fault for being so careless.
  7. Oh, my bad. That's actually great. We can see what he does 2 years in the system.
  8. So, the big question is would you guys re-sign Hughes? He'll be a free agent coming of a (likely) double-digit sack season at the end of the year. He's clearly a situational player, likely only to flourish in a Pettine-type defense, but that's not going to stop his agent from trying to get a lot of money from some dumb team. I'll give him 4-5 million per year, but not much more. Sure, we have the cap space, but that's best spent wisely when we are ready for a serious run.
  9. A tribute? Could be in protest. It's not like the guy died.
  10. QB - position's too important to ignore if you don't have a franchise player. WR - We have no #1 receiver on this team. DB - Our secondary got absolutely toasted today TE - a need, but not most important if you have a franchise QB (which we don't at the moment). Kiko's a beast. Probably the best defender on our team. Give him 1-2 years and his neck will be bigger than your thigh.
  11. 1st round pick's gonna be a DB. Mark it in stone.
  12. True. A monster of a game. Would be world's better if he has a QB throwing to him.
  13. How ridiculous is Foles? And this is a guy that probably could have been had by teams in the offseason. I don't throw this out lightly, but I don't think another team has a better MVP. This team was garbage before he took the helm.
  14. I think he must've done something non-football related to deserve this benching. He hadn't been playing any worse today than any other Sunday. If you're frustrated by that level of play, fine, let him finish the game and you bench him Monday morning. But to bench him after throwing one pick? Where has Rex been the whole season? It's way too early to tell. QBs tend to have a sophomore slump after teams have a whole year of film on them. The good ones overcome this their 3rd year. Same will go for Luck, RG3, and Kaepernick. Wilson's just phenomenal.
  15. I think a draft pick would be a bit too much, but certainly a $100,000 fine would see justice served. Or, a one game suspension. Whatever is more money forfeited.
  16. This problem could have had a simple resolution: the runner should've plowed right into him, even if he had to drift a foot out of bounds to get him. A couple days in the hospital would've taught him a lesson.
  17. Interesting example. Actually, reeks of irony.
  18. He's a great player, no doubt, but there will be players available of his caliber that pose less of a risk. By this, I mean, players who regularly played against better teams and better OLs. That's not to say KM is less of a player, but some GMs may be scared of his pedigree and play it safe with someone from a tougher division. If that's the case and he falls to the Bills, than that's great for us.
  19. We all probably have Jets board doppelgängers.
  20. Does anyone think this dude could've been a poster on here? Anyone see Crayonz lately?
  21. He certain looks like the real deal. NFL defenses are learning to neutralize the read option QB, but the legit pocket passer is not a fad and likely will continue to win into the future.
  22. Still, at the end of the day, they're still average dudes selling beer at a ball game to make ends meet, not the TSA. You add sale incentives, which I'm not sure they have, and the house of cards falls down.
  23. Anyway, I'm glad things worked out the way they did. Another trade could've change the whole dynamic of the rest of the 1st round, perhaps even impacting the way players were picked in the 2nd. Heck, we could've ended up packaging our 2nds to jump back into the 1st and then perhaps no Kiko, who may end up being our best pick in the 2013 draft.
  24. This ranking should come as no surprise as this was how Detroit's STs were doing last year. Crossman did not have a shinning resume, far from it.
