  1. And a year younger than Eddie Robinson when we picked him up. What do we need him for? To shine on a team lead by a QB who will likely take 2-3 to develop? So, when Manuel is hitting on all cylinders, Dansby's wheels will be falling off and we'll have to sub in a younger LB with limited experience. Let the LBs experience their growing pains now, not later.
  2. We can trade them one of our new WRs, for next year's 1st, of course. In fact, I'd send them Stevie for it, which will probably end up being a top-10 pick.
  3. The other question I have is why did the Colts decide to let Hughes go after his career best year? Although he didn't have a break-out season or one expected of a 1st round pick, he certainly showed improvement over the previous years. Maybe his numbers were a result of garbage time and/or dumb luck, like Maybin's?
  4. Albert has repeatedly said he would only play LT and we already have a very capable LT. End of story.
  5. Kellen Winslow should something left in the tank. He never really used any of it.
  6. I think this signals the end of the Dansby talks. We did not draft a 2nd rounder LB to be depth, Kiko's going to start. And it's about time to poop or get off the pot for Nigel and Moats, so they're going to get their chance to shine. Dansby would have relegated one of them to back-up. We did not want them to be back-up, so we grabbed Hughes for this role. Besides, does anyone know if Dansby can play multiple LB positions (which appears to be a prerequisite)? Plus, out of all the QBs in the draft, although he may have the highest ceiling, Manuel is a project. He's not going to be expected to win this year and maybe not even year (depending on if he sees the field this year). There's no point of signing a high priced veteran this year.
  7. I was really pushing for Nix to sign Buster Highman. I'm really disappointed. It could have been a perfect draft.
  8. If he could talk about it, why didn't he do it on game day? That's the problem, it's easier to talk about doing something than actually doing it. I'm sure Losman won a few Superbowls talking about how he should handle himself in the pocket too. That said, I really hope these concerns are unfounded and I'm behind the pick.
  9. With even Marrone passing on Nassib, I really can't fathom wanting him on our team.
  10. Someone should do a reverse mock draft grade. Compare every pundit's mock to how they were really picked, then grade each mock.
  11. Let's get real now. If it wasn't for the Bills, he very likely would've went in the 5th or 6th or possibly undrafted. This guy has project written all over him. It's sort of troublesome for a WR when you view their highlight film and all you see is reverse end arounds.
  12. And, ironically, history proved that any Bills fan with an above average football knowledge could have drafted players and picked a coach better than he did.
  13. "Now you listen here, Buddy, I don't want no troublemakers, you hear?"
  14. The Jints can have him then. There's no need to sign a vet when we have promising young LBs in need of development. Save the money for Byrd. It's not like we are San Fran or Atlanta looking for the missing piece to push us over the top next season.
  15. I'm feeling that if this works out, outside of EJ, this may be the best pick-up of the draft.
  16. Hey, have we signed Rodgers?
  17. Assuming Da'Rick (I like writing that) turns out to be something, I can't see both TJ and Goodwin making this team. Maybe keep TJ and place Goodwin on the PS. And the Easley experiment is probably over too.
  18. I don't know. It seemed like the whole MO of Bills drafting strategy changed from the prior years. I'm wondering if this draft was more Whaley or Marrone/Pettine driven.
  19. I don't get the love for Tuel. Can someone educate me?
  20. Geez, this is turning out phenomenal for the Bills.
  21. Didn't Barnett tweet he was back on the Bills on April Fools day? Was that ever cleared up?
  22. Now all we need is a BJ.
  23. I think this video has me more excited about grabbing Barkley in the 4th than Woods. Those were some beautifully thrown balls.
  24. I thought about doing this, especially since no one behind us in the 1st would be drafting a QB. The problem with this is that a QB needy team could have traded back into the 1st to grab him. If the Bills felt so highly on him, it was smart to take him where they did. That said, the Bills should draft another one too.
