  1. He was invisible in Minn. but so were alot of other players. wow!
  2. Funny they throw a few lines of english in the middle of all the other language.
  3. Yup but stay away from vodka and boats.
  4. What the dude didn't have a passport?
  5. I guess with this last year off he lost a step.
  6. You found your descrambler ring?
  7. They are going to have to look into why the slant passes and crossing passes seemed to work so well against this Def. Third preseason game is where they try to get it right for a qtr or half.
  8. I agree, she is guilty of bad judgement, but doesn't deserve jail time.
  9. This has been a bug a boo for me for years now. If it's 3rd and 10, have a WR run a 11 or 12 yard route, get the first down. Don't throw a completion for 6 yards and have to punt.
  10. Goodell told Vick that Buffalo was not a good match for him. Needed a team where he would sit on the depth chart for at least a year, I think there was another reason but forget off the top of my head.
  11. I had to turn off the sound because the announcers were such homers it was disgusting. The other annoying thing was endless interviews on the sidelines while the game is playing, hello! Can we see the game?
  12. Whats the logic of not even trying? These guys have egos and want to make plays.
  13. I hope your right but it wouldn't hurt to practice game planning and see how well it worked!
  14. I'm not sure what state you live in but in California this is true. I grew up in Canada and my brother had a landscaping company and I helped him. I also picked cherries as a summer job once. Man that was physically hard work. And I was young and could handle it. I used to joke with my Mexican workers on the ranch that in Canada all white guys are doing the jobs your doing. Yes they were legal in case your wondering. Yes that would work except most welfare and unemployment recipients are in San Diego, LA, San Fran etc. not in central valley where a lot of this work is going on. Are you going to bus them in and pay for their housing? If farmers paid more I'm sure there would be more Americans interested in taking those jobs and the un employment rate would go down. Yes there is certainly legal immigration, the problem for Mexicans who are financially poor they can't afford to get the documents necessary to immigrate legally without a lot of money to pay the Mexican government officials. It's a catch 22 for them, it's cheaper to sneak in illegally than to go the legal route. Solve that problem and the illegal immigration would be greatly decreased.
  15. Becareful what you wish for when it comes to this immigration issue. Lets assume for a minute that the Border Patrol seals up the border perfectly and no illegals are able to cross. Lets also assume that Immigration nabs every illegal in the country and deports them. The California farming industry woukld come to a screeching halt over night and the US would experience food shortages. Without illegal mexican workers picking the fruit and vegatables farmers would not be able hire workers for the back breaking work at such low pay. The probable outcome is that they would have to pay $20 to $30 an hour to attract American workers and the cost of fruit and vegetables would sky rocket. Not to mention the affluent Americans in California would have to start cleaning their own houses and that would make them grumpy and call for easing up on Immigration issues to allow Mexicans to come to California to work here. So unless an immigration plan takes into account for these issues they are doomed to fail.
  16. I would like to see the Offense move the ball crisply and no penalties. On defense get some sacks and stop the run. In shorter words, total domination !
  17. That would be a fun meeting the day after at the engineering firm that built that bridge. I wonder how many people got fired for that one?
  18. Go back a little farther in time and buy La Jolla beach front lots for $100 per lot or whatever they sold for at the time.
  19. That was signed into law in 1913.
  20. 1912 was quite a momentous year, Republic of China formed, Alaska joins the Union, Titanic sinks, Marines invade Honduras, tons of other interesting things as well, but I'm guessing your referring to Woodrow Wilson beats Taft in a landslide. How did this permantly break the US political system?
  21. The political system seems so broken because compromise became a dirty word. In politics thats how stuff gets done.
  22. Remember the K car with Lee Iaccoca? Liked Lee hated the K car.
  23. I have never seen an overhead sign wobble like that?
