  1. This, and Andy Isabela has had a better NFL career than this dude. The WR starved Browns cut him outright in August.
  2. Linval Joseph helps with that. One thing that got lost in the loss last week was that Joe Mixon had 14 carries for 37 yards.
  3. Since Bill Walsh developed the West Coast Offense to minimize a noodle-armed QB while he was an assistant with the Bengals, it should be called the "Chili on Spaghetti Offense," or the "Almost Kentucky Offense."
  4. This guy has future Cincinnati Bengal written all over him. Just like the first time I saw Rex Burkhead, I knew that he had a Pats stint in his future.
  5. I think that the doom and gloom is because Bills fans have been waiting for the other show to drop since they became a contending team in 2020. It seemed too good to be true and something that happened to other teams and cities. Now that the team has hit a bit of adversity they feel validated in their scepticism. It’s like “this team has always sucked, they just fooled you kool-ade drinkers for a bit!’ Also, seething, white hot anger at the entire Buffalo Bills organization was the default mood for Bills fans for 20 years. It’s a hard habit to break and it probably feels like putting on a pair of comfortable slippers for many here.
  6. Because they would have had to announce the PS elevation yesterday.
  7. But your point that 1 1/2 seasons as OC not being enough to wash the Gase stink off of his career may be correct.
  8. Hines played in the first game after he was acquired. Both Joseph and Douglas played significant snaps last week. There is no history of this staff holding players out. Lenny must not be ready.
  9. He was passing game coordinator in 2021. He was promoted to OC after the 2021 season.
  10. I remember that some of Brady’s struggles in his first half-season in Tampa was due to learning Leftwitch’s offense.
  11. You made me look something up. The Lions only ran 42% of their plays from the shotgun yesterday. The league average last season was 66%. They also had great balance, with 26 rushing attempts by RBs and 33 passing attempts. I didn't watch the game, so I'm just going on stats and the play sheet on NFL.com. That shows a play-caller in control of a game who didn't abandon the run. But then again, the Lions never trailed in that game.
  12. Then they must have zero WRs on their rosters.
  13. This board has not hit the point when Einstein is the most rational poster. I mean, even FiltyBeast made a post today that was more measured than all of the "Trade Josh Allen" posts on here this week.
  14. Just two short years ago, Mac was better than brady: https://www.sportskeeda.com/nfl/mac-jones-tom-brady-rookie-season
  15. I really like Ejiro Evero as a HC candidate. This year's defense in Carolina notwithstanding, he coached some good defenses in Denver. Also Lou Anoramo in Cincinnati. Both of those guys will get interviews this offseason.
  16. I actually would want the OC from Houston. He runs the Kyle Shanahan system. Do you like running plays? Look at the crazy variety that they run in that system: https://sumersports.com/the-zone/shanahan-schemes/
  17. Because it was brought up, there is no way that the Pats just cut Mac Jones. He has a lot of trade value. If the Bills were still a QB-starved team, I would be "pounding the table" for him because I would think that he just needs a more stable situation to recover his rookie-year form. Some team like Atlanta or TB will give up a second.
  18. Bills are 28th on the waiver list. I doubt he drops that far.
  19. Joyless football only works if the team is actively competing for Lombardis.
  20. Apparently, he got in BB's doghouse for being late to a meeting and then sulked about it on the sidelines in Frankfurt: https://www.masslive.com/patriots/2023/11/patriots-leader-to-see-where-jack-jones-heads-at-after-sideline-behavior.html
