They also had great balance, with 26 rushing attempts by RBs and 33 passing attempts. I didn't watch the game, so I'm just going on stats and the play sheet on NFL.com. That shows a play-caller in control of a game who didn't abandon the run. But then again, the Lions never trailed in that game.

I really like Ejiro Evero as a HC candidate. This year's defense in Carolina notwithstanding, he coached some good defenses in Denver. Also Lou Anoramo in Cincinnati. Both of those guys will get interviews this offseason.

Because it was brought up, there is no way that the Pats just cut Mac Jones. He has a lot of trade value. If the Bills were still a QB-starved team, I would be "pounding the table" for him because I would think that he just needs a more stable situation to recover his rookie-year form. Some team like Atlanta or TB will give up a second.

Bills are 28th on the waiver list. I doubt he drops that far.
