  1. I swear Simms reads these boards for topic ideas. If I was in his business, I would too. Guaranteed clicks because you’re feeding into existing arguments.
  2. You mean outed as liars?
  3. The “resurgent Bengals” scored 17 points on Sunday, and only three after the 12:20 mark in the second quarter. The Carolina Panthers scored 27 on that same Seahawks defense.
  4. People are looking ahead to January because in North American professional sports, the regular seasons are really insignificant preambles to the real show. In every other part of the world, "winning the league" by being the best regular season team is considered the championship. Here, getting the one seed just makes the path to the singular accomplishment available a tiny bit easier.
  5. Wait until you are considered too old to be an offensive genius head coaching candidate.
  6. White is right
  7. Kansas City. But they actually have only scored more than 25 points once, and that was against the Bears.
  8. I would feel soooooo much better if the Bills hadn’t let the Giants drive at the end of the game.
  9. People keep bringing up Mike Evans trades. The Bucs are currently in 1st in the NFC South. They’re not trading their best offensive weapon.
  10. Pats fans hate Goodell for Deflategate while Bills fans hate him for not pursuing Pats cheating enough. Did people hate Rozell and Tagliabue this much?
  11. When Uncle Rico is your starting QB, you’re going to hand the ball off a LOT.
  12. People like to talk about coaching trees. What would be funny about that is that Ben Johnson is firmly out of the Adam Gase coaching tree.
  13. Incognito windows are not just for porn. Just sayin'.
  14. This is so true. I like to look at other good teams' boards to take the temperature of their fans. Bengals fans are livid at Zac Taylor and his vanilla offense after a win because their offense only scored 17 points and only had 3 points in the second half. Niners fans are angry at Shanahan for poor clock management and think that this is why they'll never win a SB with him. Eagles fans want to fire the OC because the offense is "boring." Ravens fans are currently in an active debate on whether their new OC is any better than Roman. Lions fans, to be fair, are a pretty giddy bunch right now. As a side note, TBD is one of the most active message boards in the NFL.
  15. Actually the first TD drive against the Giants was almost exclusively created with shotgun draws to Murray.
  16. I watched all of it. Not with the trained eye of @HoofHearted, but I watched it. Dorsey actually schemed guys open. Josh ignored them. I probably need to apologise to Cian Fahey, Josh does have trouble reading coverages when a coordinator really disguises them.
  17. Blackshear has 95 career rushing yards on 28 attempts on a Carolina team that is starved for offense.
  18. Played Fumbly Rumbly a bit as a kid. Does that count?
  19. He probably signed for the minimum for a chance at a ring.
  20. My mother's roommate in the 60's at Fredonia was from Long Island, and she chose to go there because it was as far away from her mother that she could get and still pay in-state tuition.
  21. NY teams always travel to Buffalo well. There are students from downstate at UB and Buff State. Also, once you get east of Rochester, NYS is a hodgepodge of Jets, Giants, and Bills fans.
  22. TBD wants to trade Josh Allen to the Rams so that he can be closer to his Hollywood girlfriend, so anything is possible I guess.
  23. Because of your sidenote. This board wants Ken Dorsey fired yesterday because all fans blame coaches when things don't go well. I really think that the coaching job that Wink Martindale did in the first half was a masterclass, especially given what he had to work with. Josh never seemed to know where the rush was coming from. But I also believe that Daboll and Martindale started working on this game plan in the offseason. It was personal for Daboll.
  24. They would change coaches and GM long before it came to that. Josh Allen is a Bill until at least 2029, and he will probably sign an extension that keeps him in Buffalo for the rest of his career sometime in the next year or so.
