  1. Back then he was the most overrated QB in the league. He wasn't a QB that I would worry about when we faced the Patsies. TD panicked and went for a name. With the state of the Bills Oline back then we should have signed Jeff Blake and build the team from there.
  2. I think the reason they didn't blitz to much was that long ball to Evans early in the game. a play we should have made against the Raiders even if it was an incompletion.
  3. how many pressures? Knockdowns? I'm not saying sacks aren't important becasue it gives your team momentum and the defense "gets" in the QB mind (ask bledsoe) but they're overrated sometimes. Brady is the best QB in the NFL right now and he's an iceberg under pressure and seldom makes mistakes. He's awesome making his prgressions and more often that not his passes are on target. Pre snap, he recognizes the blitz and he fires to the spot left by the blitzer perfectly.
  4. I'm with you Kelso, with the Drewster under center we won't even sniff the playoffs. I'm not saying he's to blame for the losses but he's responsible by his own limitations that the offense cannot show flexibilty nor creativity. He's a one trick pony and he's easy to defend. So you have a defense that knows where he'll be and what'll he do, that it's just a matter of time in a game where they'll get to him or just wait for him to make a mistake. Every single snap has to be perfect for him, because he can't create positive plays by his own when something breaks down.
  5. the sad thing is that the offense either can't find the house or they just lost the keys.
  6. But I think we should try it in the first series at least, we moved the ball well against the Jags with a slow paced no huddle. Yep, there is the chance Drew will get sacked but if the offense can move the ball early on Drew will gain some needed confidence.
  7. It would be a great option, I'm all for it. I'd also start the game with a 3WR set and go air borne, suprise this MOFOs, they're expecting a heavy dose of Henry early on. Flea flickers, reverses anything to catch them off guard.
  8. I can't wait to see this kid on the field this year.
  9. Drew was finished last year and now he's seeing yellow. It's really embarrasing to see this guy play, he's inmobile, has zero pocket presence and is too easy to defend while in the process it makes the OL looks like high schoolers.
  10. So he's, subconsciously, considering retirement?
  11. It IS Drew. That much I know. He's holding this team back.
  12. I think you're right but the no-huddle offense should be used maybe on a series in the middle of a game to get a spark from the offense and to keep the defense with the same package and guessing what's next. The Pats began the second game last year (against us) that way and we couldn't do stevestojan against it and they did it this year against the Colts who were expecting heavy dose of Dillon in the opener. If we can run it for a series, mistake free, it can be a dangerous weapon.

  14. TV looked great period, be it against the pass or the run. Wire, on the other hand was suspect on the passing game (altough it was expected) but I was suprised to see him taking poor angles against the running game. Either he was late or going on another direction.
  15. I thought he had a bad back and couldn't play anymore.
  16. I still can't believe Burns made the team, I would have kept either Simonton or Lawton over him.
  17. Is Daimon Shelton a lock? Granted, I didn't watch a single game but from what I read after the games is that Shelton's play isn't great but isn't awful either, just average. Did Lawton showed enough to keep him instead of Shelton? I don't see us carrying two FBs, Neufeld can play the HB position because his blocking skill is very sound.
