  1. Buddy, I can come up with 32 scenarios and you would still think Marrone is a loser, so I won't waste my time. Anything I say will be dismissed by you.
  2. He missed some throws that could have helped win the game but he couldn't make them. Still we could have won the game if Brown hadn't fumbled the ball when he was about to score.
  3. How the !@#$ you come up with these unrealistic scenarios? For you he is a loser, I stopped seeing things black and white when I was 7.
  4. In your opinion.
  5. That I can pin on Marrone, I would have sit Freddie this one so he can heal up. But I don't want Marrone fired for it.
  6. Why should I waste time arguing with you when you had Marrone already pegged as a loser coach? And we don't have a QB to reach 12 wins in a year consistently. we could get a hot streak with Orton, but he's not an elite QB, I like him but he's not elite.
  7. in your opinion, he is. No need to comment beyond that, have a good day.
  8. I worked though. On the second scenario I would have called some plays to get the first but then I would have hated it if we didn't score a TD Exactly, when we run too much they want the Coach innovator, when we pass in the redzone three times in a row, people want Mr. Conservative.
  9. hey genius, tell me how many people credited Marrone when Sammy got that winning TD against the Vikings? Or when Carpenter hit a 55 yarder against the Lions? I'll help you, zero, because those were fantastic individual plays. Today, it was as cut and dry as those plays, Brown fumbled when he was about to score 6 points and Mckelvin fumbled the ball away giving the Chiefs something they didn't have all day, good field position.
  10. Me too, but it was all or nothing there. We should have had the game in the bag by then had we not fumbled the ball twice.
  11. The players lost this one.
  12. the players lost the game today. Both fumbles were huge and Orton was off target almost all afternoon.
  13. They have a good to great DL but their LBs don't flash too much ability. Grimes is a consistent, solid CB and Jones and Delmas make for a good pair of safeties. The are a playoff defense if their offense can function at a reasonable rate.
  14. The Bengals look like an uninspired football team.
  15. really pedestrian numbers for the year for Dalton. awful pass by Dalton
  16. Damn, Lori Cableady Crap Throwing Monkey Where art thou?
  17. They should have drafted Nassib in the third or in the fourth before the Giants.
  18. I'll forward this one to Erik Pears and see what he can do.....
  19. Exactly More like Chan telling Nix, "don't worry with the talent on offense right now, I think I can score enough points to win games, lets focus on defense first". I don't want to say that Gailey had a big ego, but I think he was very confident in his abilities, to a fault, obviously.
  20. I think that is exactly what happened with him and Buddy and that is where our opinions take different turns. The plan was to build a talented defense and in the meantime the offensive minded coach would do just enough to win games.
  21. Having no talent never helps, but Gailey thought he could make it work without it.
  22. Gailey's offense was soft, that worked on timing and finesse, that it would crumble going against strong defenses. The Jets games were an embarrassment to witness. The Jets, Niners and Texans toyed with us when we played them.
  23. And whose fault was that? It's on him, he was the HC, he's the one responsible to bring in his coordinators. Fact is, like many HCs, he didn't know squat about the other side of the ball so the plan was to draft defense and leave the mastermind to work with what was already there, except for Spiller, of course. Chan was on record saying that he could win with Fitzpatrick, it was his way of saying don't draft a QB, I'll get by with the smart vet.
