  1. Eagles look good.
  2. As it should be, picture the owner taking such a black and white approach, he keeps firing players because they don't win or viceversa, It's crazy talk.
  3. Something to ponder regarding Pegula, the entire NFL (players, coaches and owners) and the hounds in the media will be watching what kind of owner will Pegula be; remember perception is reality with the media. Will he be a reactionary owner or the wait and assess kind of owner? Coaches and FO men will be watching very closely how they manage things with Whaley and Marrone, those are the men that Pegula will try to lure to work for him in the future.
  4. I still believe that we can win any game with the defense we have, we need the offense to step up and put some pressure on the other guys by scoring TDs. Is it a tough schedule ahead? Sure, but I'm also sure the team believes they can beat anybody.
  5. Don't forget the exodus of good players in that entire era. For the most part we're doing a good job keeping talented players. The Bills need to achieve on offense what they did with Schwartz on defense.
  6. They were awesome, they called it like they saw it, no favorites no BS. They got it wrong at times but it was refreshing from the status quo. It was an embarrassment the harassment they received from the media and coaches. oh and Carey is a puppet, him and the other guy from FOX add nothing to football.
  7. lol
  8. Isn't that what he's doing right now? I consider Whaley a football man and a good spotter of talent, though I would not be opposed if Pegula hires a guy like Wolf to make a thorough evaluation of his team and help Whaley in whatever he needs to make this a SB team.
  9. I still don't see how their priority is not winning but think of this If Pegula gives Whaley resources to further improve scouting (that being, bringing more scouts or more money to that department) and asks Whaley to get more competition at QB and never rest until a QB is found. Tells Whaley that he has the resources to re-sign Dareus and Hughes and other players. Then tells Marrone to improve the offensive coordinator position and other coordinators as well. (O-line coach for example) Would that not be a sign that the priority is winning?
  10. Ok, we established they don't want to lose, but now you're telling us winning for this FO and coaching staff is not their first priority, please tell us what their main priority is?
  11. that tells me everything I need to know, if you don't think Marrone was viewed as good a HC candidate as any by that time there is no need to keep this conversation.
  12. Was he not a hot on everybody's list as a hot candidate? Amazing if you say no Regarding press conferences, I don't care about them either if we win or lose, they serve no purpose and people love to listen to them to nitpick them and used them to accommodate their opinions. About the punt on fourth down, he got it right against the Chiefs and he got it wrong against the Phins, the important thing is that he learns from it if he has the chance, of course.
  13. And why the hell we can't do the same thing? Why this obsessive behavior of cleaning house when the team is so close to the goal of being a great football team? Many people here believe there's a guy that can come in and change everything for better just because, a savior of sorts that with it's mere presence will heal us all. If Pegula is smart he sits down with the coach and tells him that he owes himself better coaching at the offensive coordinator position, such as he understood going in that he needed a good defensive coordinator. FWIW, over at finheaven.com there was a lot of talk about firing Philbin after that loss, I know that we shouldn't care but I thought there are similarities of what transpired with them last year and what is going on here with us this year.
  14. Would you guys have fired Philbin last year after the Phins got blanketed by the Bills and missed the playoffs? (I know they could still miss the playoffs again this year)
  15. All nice clichés, do you really believe that what they are trying to build now has negative connotations? Do you think that these guys are striving to lose? That is BS and you know it. You just don't like them and you want them canned. Newsflash the next guy in line will say the same thing when he's at the podium, because after 14 years of no playoffs, if he says nothing you will be mad about it.
  16. Bang bang play, should not be PI.
  17. I would like Marrone if he cans Hackett and let a vet OC call the plays.
  18. http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/post/_/id/149629/inside-slant-theres-a-reason-intentional-grounding-is-rarely-called
  19. Isn't amazing that being 11-15 as a coach and with two months left from finishing year 2 on it, has the fans in a fire everyone frenzy?
  20. I agree there, but nothing of Tanny's game scares me.
  21. he's looks more decisive than last year, but he's not getting better with his long passing game.
  22. it's not a matter of arm strength, he lacks accuracy on long passes
  23. He's the next Alex Smith, can't complete a long pass to save his life. Good only for the regular season.
  24. They had a bad day but if we score in one of the endzone trips it changes the game completely. The pressure is on Miami and that is a match up our DL loves.
  25. Letting Whaley go would be a big mistake.
