  1. Fresh from an interception and getting the ball back in the second half after a horrendous 1st half I didn't have a problem with it. I sure didn't feel like we were going to waltz into FG territory with so little time left on the clock had they missed the FG.
  2. I hope Marrone realizes that if he puts ego aside he could have long career in Buffalo, he just needs to replace the OC for a veteran or innovative playcaller and re-shuffle his current frankestein OL.
  3. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/172184-bryce-brown-surprised-he-isnt-playing/page__st__100 and yes, I'm patting myself in the back. It seems I didn't do a good job knocking on wood.
  4. He's probably done for the year, I wonder how will this affect his FA position.
  5. and he caught it high in the sky...... seriously, I was watching the caveman on the sidelines and he was very supportive of his fellow WRs after the fumbles, it was nice to see.
  6. I love Stevie but I don't see him having that clutch play at the end of the game (and I hate me for saying this) Watkins is a star.
  7. I don't care, I know people are mad at the coaches, but they didn't gave the ball to the opposition 4 times today.
  8. He probably blocks better than Chandler and without a flag (looking at you Lee Smith)
  9. No doubt. Regarding taking things out to the press you need to be careful, you need to know the player well, otherwise the player might take it the wrong way. For instance, Henderson here is saying Gilmore is good and he needs to be better at certain things to take his game to another level, he's saying the player could be great but isn't right now, Gilmore knows that, Henderson knows that and fans know that. Henderson takes it to the press so that he can challenge the player to make it happen.
  10. I wish more coaches could be this candid about their players. no coddling and no BS.
  11. The Bryce Brown trade was simple, CJ is a FA and Fred is getting old, a GM has to have more broad vision of the team going forward. People has cried for years about this team lacking roster depth, well, Brown is exactly that only that we have been lucky with injuries so far (knocking on wood). Would it be interesting to see him getting playing time? of course, CJ is having a bad year and Fred is a little banged up, maybe we could bench the penalty specialist, Lee Smith and give him the rock a couple of times against the Vikings.
  12. Rex Ryan with the Sparano's pump fist after a penalty, sad.
  13. I was going to say that they should give Jim Hostler a shot at calling plays but after doing some research, his lone year doing it with the 49ers in 2007 was atrocious.
  14. Coleman: "We got this Bill, don't hood up"
  15. Was Coleman with them in the studios and did he throw a flag?
  16. They are running the ball more and giving Romo less rope to hang himself. Surprisingly their defense hasn't fall apart as many predicted. I like Orton, he's obviously better than EJ right now, but I don't want our coaches to give him more chances to give the game away by passing more. It would be great if we can find a running game going forward and use PA to our advantage.
  17. I wish he could take care of the ball a little better than he has the two games he played so far.
  18. I believe Marrone doesn't want to bench Pears because he, then, would feel obligated to give him his old job back as a RT and doesn't want to because he knows Henderson is the guy at RT looking forward. Don't know if that makes sense.
  19. no problem Rockpile
  20. I noticed that his drop-backs are very deep, even when he's in shotgun he takes 2 steps back.
  21. I think he did a fine job with Mark Sanchez though he had a great OL. He wasn't a miracle worker so he was the scapegoat in NJ.
