  1. My daughter while a student at the University of Kentucky was a waitress at a local restaurant. During the off-season the entire basketball team came in for a meal along with 3-4 older university staff. My daughter is a huge fan of the team and even attended the final 4 in New Orleans when they won the national championship. She waited the table of about 15 mostly by herself in a semi-private area of the restaurant. She gave them the best service possible and all went well. They then asked for almost all separate checks. She made it happen and then....you guessed it.... $0 tip from any except for the "adult" check.
  2. Sure, because after 2+ years now so many voters have come out and said they were duped by Russia and team Trump. They were gonna vote Hillary but instead voted Trump because, because, well because nobody knows or has said - yet. Or because Russians hacked voting machines and changed vote totals. Or Russians snuck over our southern border and disguised themselves as voting judges in precincts in key states and changed the vote totals. Or Russians paid off Americans to change the vote totals. Or Russians paid Fox News to run negative Hillary stories. Or Russians altered video to make it look like Hillary needed help climbing stairs or getting into a van. Or it was a Russians that threw a shoe at Hillary during one of her campaign speeches. Or Russians sent a woman lawyer into Trump tower and, and, and ? Or Russians put some ***** out on a few facebook pages and 100's of thousands or millions of stupid Americans voted Trump after reading a couple paragraphs. If you look at what Mueller has produced so far, none of it even suggests that voters were swayed or that votes were tampered with or that team Trump colluded. Zip, zero, zilch. He isn't even on that path and today we learned he's about done. Really we know with great certainty that what little Russia did wasn't enough to boil a pot of water let alone alter the votes of several entire states in favor of 1 candidate. Even if Wikileaks source was Russians, the handful of emails by Podesta that were published paled in comparison to Hillary's self inflicted wounds from destroying email, leaving a trail of dirty money through their foundation and most importantly running a lazy campaign void of any quality policy.
  3. Hillary will have to up her game. Harris has already grabbed the top spot for the party of free stuff with free college and free healthcare and free citizenship. Even Bernie will have a hard time topping that.
  4. The Clinton/Bernie rematch while 20 other candidates are craving attention would be most entertaining to the right.
  5. Whatever polling perch Nancy stood upon before the shutdown was artificially tall. Her comments during the shutdown were simply a reminder of what a witch she is. Her hiatus from the speakership was an insulator. She's not done dropping yet, for every time she speaks she'll further erode the weak public support she has. She's just bad for the country.
  6. I'm not much of a golfer, but explain why you don't think it's a sport.
  7. No thank you. I don't care for cottage cheese.
  8. That was at a time when the Dem position was against illegal immigration because it hurt many union workers and depressed wages for many traditional Dem voters. The big prize for Dems now comes in the form of millions of Dem voters who are the offspring of illegal immigrants or illegal immigrants themselves who Dems feel will be given citizenship at some point. Dems have come too far on this to turn back now. The dreams of turning states like Texas and Arizona blue and obtaining a near electoral lock are getting closer to coming true. Few Dems are going to support border security and any legislation that restricts immigration. It's a power play pure and simple and these are sick individuals in Washington pulling these strings.
  9. There will be no serious attempt to impeach the President. It's the continued narrative of all things Trump bad and the continued talk of impeachment that is of value to Democrats until the next election. People like you (10's of millions of voters) are simply pawns in the game. The D party wants you whipped into an angry frenzy for election season. The D party doesn't want you thinking about what should be done about $22T in debt, illegal immigration, the solvency of entitlements, the fair application of the law or any successes that Trump administration achieves. The D party doesn't want to solve the big problems we face as a nation. The R party in terms of governing isn't much better on the big stuff.
  10. There's plenty of room to criticize Trump's tactics and style on this issue. However there is no good argument that we don't need to better secure the border and re-write our asylum and immigration laws and policies and engage our neighbors to the south differently. What's happened over the past 30 years on this matter is an atrocity. Fixing it once and for all is a no-brainer. This should have overwhelming bi-partisan support, unless your goals are strictly political.
  11. The close personal relationship between Barr and Mueller is curious. It could be a plus or a minus for the proper wind down of the investigation. From the coverage of his hearings that I saw, that didn't seem to come up in the questioning (the close relationship) at all and the mentions of him recusing himself on the matter seemed to be centered on some criticism of the investigation a while back rather than them being fishing buddies or something like that.
  12. Expect this guy to be a part of it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joaquin_Castro
  13. Trump's best chance of winning is to convince Comey to run as an independent on a lefty platform.
  14. She missed an even bigger target. Not only a billionaire but an evil hedge funder who really doesn't pay his fair share of taxes. https://www.marketplace.org/2019/01/24/economy/most-expensive-home-us-history-just-sold-238-million
  15. How would you describe a moderate on the right? Are: fiscal responsibility, border security and tamping down illegal immigration, a strong military and the concept of self sufficiency fringe right positions?
  16. Trump is just setting himself up for embarrassment #2 with this 3 week negotiating period. Nancy and Chuck don't want border security or revisions to asylum laws AT ALL. They will be more than happy to let Trump invoke "national emergency status" and subject his decision to all the legal entanglements which will ensure that the wall an actual border security is substantially delayed at best. The media will certainly give them cover for walking away from the table. For a guy that claims to be a great deal maker, he's mostly getting his ass kicked on this one. The facts are on your side DT, but you have to sell it and it's a process that will take time. The only way to put political pressure on the other side is to make a cogent case to the nation on an ongoing basis through every medium available and expose the other side for opposing what should be a no brainer, the end of significant illegal immigration. At this point he has very little time with an election right around the corner. Frankly the odds of him getting something meaningful done are pretty slim and much slimmer if he continues his poor approach to this.
  17. ^^^^^ Ignorance. A couple of late teenage kids tried to break in to my neighbor's government car late on a Sunday night. He's a federal investigator, sometimes under cover. He was awakened by the noise, saw the thieves in the driveway from a window, put on a pair of shorts, grabbed a set of handcuffs and exited the house quietly out the back door. Came around front, grabbed one of the kids and cuffed him in the driveway. Police came and cop to thief: "young man, you really picked the wrong house".
  18. For some of you the snicker at this, it is entirely possible that the birth certificate that was published as Obama's is a fake AND that he was born in Hawaii. The folks that did the work to critique the document did not claim that this was proof he wasn't born in Hawaii.
  19. Stone was complaining in an interview a few nights ago that he was broke and on the verge of bankruptcy. Said that he had spent a half-million $ on legal and related services. For all the guy's notoriety and Washington experience, a half-million puts him in the poor house?
  20. Are you referring to some of his posts regarding Muslims? The news media wants us to believe that Muslim is a race. It isn't. They also want us to believe that people of middle eastern origin are their own race. Well, the U.S. government considers middle easterners as white for purposes of the census so I suppose that makes middle eastern Americans part of the white privilege crowd.
  21. I think you should stick to conspiracy stuff ?. Biden will mop the floor with Trump. We're talkin' strap Trump to a broom handle and spread the mop and glow with Trump's turbo wrap hair. Joe is like many backup QB's, the most popular guy in town. We'll be 4 years removed from 2016. The country is already growing Trump-weary IMO and two more years of daily media attacks, congressional investigations and Pelosi stone-walling the egotistical adolescent will take its toll IMO. That and a likely slowing economy at election time will make it tough. Trump supporters will turn out but there simply aren't enough of them. Biden will run as the adult in the room, will choose a female and/or minority running mate and flip nearly every swing state. Trump will have almost nobody outside of his inner circle on his side. That's what my crystal ball says.
  22. Lizzy Warren leading off with a new tax on the wealthy. Whoa, who could have predicted that? https://townhall.com/tipsheet/mattvespa/2019/01/24/pocahontas-wants-to-scalp-the-rich-with-new-wealth-tax-n2540201
