  1. I know, I know. But with something like this, you just kinda have to. A ton of Bills fans wanted this guy, especially if he was there after the first round. Again, I know, I know. It would just be nice if the Bills front office was smarter than the fans or Mel Kiper for a change.
  2. As dumb as this sounds, I too live in Virginia, and have been here for 12 years myself. I've maybe watched a total of 5 Redskins games in that span, other than when they are the only game on Monday Night or something. I also have had Bills season tickets for over 15 years. I hate Daniel Snyder. However, RG3 is a great kid, and they have an exciting WR corps and a fantastic, and down to Earth RB. They are suddenly hard not to like. I actually had the Skins on the Big TV a couple of times this year, after you could tell the Bills were getting wiped off the field again. That never happened in the past. I don't like the Skins yet, but for the first time ever, I've paid attention to them. At the same time, I've had no inkling to go to any of the last three Bills home games this year, just wasting away my ticket money. I don't know what this all means, but apathy has reared it's ugly for me with the Bills in some small degree. I can't tell you how sickening it is to not have meaningful football games in the second half of the season. It's not all the way there yet, but I've had no problem turning them off this year, and watching other games that I have fantasy players in. I have three TV's in my man cave. Again, I don't think this really means anything for me personally, but apathy is not a good thing. I'm also a Pittsburgh Pirates fan, and used to go to games every year. I've been to three in the last 11 years. You know, those Pirates that haven't had a winning record in 20 years. The Bills are their NFL counterpart.
  3. Yeah, I saw a video or article about it at the beginning of this year. The only slight downside is that I think, but I'm not certain, that the jerseys had your personal name on it. Still, much better than a god awful Zubaz hat. And the jersey, if you wouldn't want to wear it, would look cool, framed in a man cave, signifying you are a season ticket holder.
  4. I ripped the hat to shreds. It's friggin awful. I also reminded the Bills that the Kansas City Chiefs give all of their season ticket holders jerseys. The hats are awful.
  5. Just ordered my new Eric Wood jersey. Thank You Eric.
  6. Dabo was on WGR. He was here to see Spiller. He was the interim coach at Clemson when he developed a strong bond with Spiller. He was going to be in New York City the next day as well. He came to see him last year, and had a good time. He said he loves the atmosphere, brought his two sons (I think), and wanted to watch CJ. He also said he'll be coming back next year as well. He bought a bunch of Bills gear for his kids in the Bills Store.
  7. I can't believe some of you actually liked that hat. LMAO. It's one of the ugliest things I've ever seen. I have some friends that are season ticket holders in Indy, Chicago, Pittsburgh and the Jets. I posted the hat on my facebook page the day I got back from the Miami game, and the hilarity that ensued from my picture post rivaled that of the retatta post. That hat is a total waste of money! It's brutal, IMO.
  8. Yep Wrong. Steeler games are not like this. I can't speak for the Browns, but Steeler games, in most areas, are not like Buffalo.
  9. No it doesn't. Not to Buffalo's extent. Not even close. Yes Indeed. You are correct. Never been to another away game where it's even remotely as bad as Buffalo. Never. And I've been to a lot of road games.
  10. Or maybe in your case....the NFL's DUMBEST fans??? When you keep going to game after game after game when they obviously don't give back much to their fanbase. And BTW, don't blame me, I have season tickets, and actually live further away from RWS than you do. However, your constant whining about this, when the Bills are an awfully bad run organization are annoying. Even as a season ticket holder, I don't blame anyone, one bit, for not wanting to throw their hard earned money at these clowns.
  11. Growing up in Pittsburgh, I've rooted on a Penn State National Championship (as a teen), three Penguins Stanley Cups (as a teen and adult), and a Pirates World Series (as a kid). I was also on a hardcore NBA fan back in the day and loved the Celtics as part of the Larry-Magic era. I no longer even watch the NBA, so really, that doesn't count as hardcore! But the one I want the most.......the Bills. Someday I hope.
  12. Absolutely correct. McCoy is not only the Eagles best offensive weapon, but he's also one of the best weapons in the NFL and he does NOT use him. It's absolutely mind boggling. I'd like to punch Reid in the face most weeks. And it's amazing to see just how dangerous their offense is when he gets McCoy going, which isn't hard to do.
  13. NO NO NO. He flat out refuses to run the football. He has one of the best weapons in the game at RB, and refuses to use him. I never knew why Philly fans would B word so much about about Reid, until I started to pay attention how he flat out ignores McCoy. Please god no, keep Reid away from Buffalo. This is one named coach we don't need.
  14. LMAO......Fitz and Jim Kelly!!!! God, I love these things.
  15. I like Fitz alot. However, Sunday was the last straw for me as well. The only saving grace for Fitz is that he is our only available option at QB right now, although I'm starting to think T. Jax is maybe a better option. Your argument really isn't valid, because Gailey has called so many plays that has had WR's WIDE OPEN, with Fitz missing them, it's not even funny. Fitz has been flat out awful. I'm actually even believing that with a halfway decent QB, this offense would be downright nasty. Fitz has been awful. Period. Not even debatable. I think Gailey is now even trying to hide him. I often wondered if Stevie was a true #1 WR. Seeing how open he gets vs. other teams #1 CB's, and with no true #2 WR is almost remarkable. I'm starting to think that if Stevie has a good QB, he would be a top WR in this league. I actually am starting to feel bad for him.
  16. My god, that's friggin hilarious. Along with the new one under it after Brady and Manning's game this weekend. AWESOME stuff.
  17. You really are smoking something. You can't just lose Revis and be pretty much the same team that was competing for the AFC Championship with New England. You can't just lose your only weapon on offense, which is Santonio Holmes and think you can still compete every week. You seriously don't think the Jets running backs right now are as good as they were when they went to the AFC Championship game competing with New England. This doesn't even get into an offensive line that is terrible outside of Mangold. Ferguson is a good pass blocking T, but not as good run blocking. Dustin Keller is out. You can't be serious. My best friend is a Jets fan, and I know this team inside and out. And 2-0 in the AFC EAST? Really? Is that a big accomplishment? They got to play the Bills, whom they own, and they played Tanehill in one of his first few pro games. Wow, but they are 2-0 in what is turning out to be one of the weakest divisions in football. But hey, they beat Buffalo and Miami. The Jets are brutal. Period. Especially on offense. This is now a bad football team, and they competed tonight. They had sound schemes for their talent level in all three phases of the game against one of the best teams in the league, if not the best. Other than not winning the game tonight, the Jets can feel good about their effort tonight. Buffalo, on the other hand.........speaks for itself.
  18. You've gotta be kidding me. Who gives a schitt where players are drafted? Really? We once had McCargo, Losman, etc.......ALL FIRST ROUNDERS!!! LMAO. The Jets were severely undermanned. SEVERELY. And they competed. The were aggressive. They took chances. And they bounced back and played the best team in the AFC tough, with a severely beat up roster. They now have one of the worst active rosters in the AFC. Period. They did very well tonight all things considering for them. They have a horrible QB and lost their only starting caliber WR and still looked 25 times better than us. They lost Revis, and still found ways to slow down a great Texans offense enough to give them a chance to win. This doesn't discount all of their other injuries. That was one hell of an effort by them and their coaching staff. This isn't even questionable.
  19. Not really, because everyone knows they are the Chiefs and Browns. I expect to look better this week against overrated Arizona. The Jets overachieved tonight. Is that too much to ask from us?
  20. I guess so, because with a completely outmanned roster, the Jets just had the ball, down by 6 with a chance to win the game with 2 minutes left and were driving. And I'm not sure that anyone here would trade one guy on their offense or special teams with ours. What kind of game did you expect from the Jets with the UFL roster they are showcasing?
  21. Yes, and have pulled out all of the stops in all three aspects of the game to achieve competitiveness. They have come up with gimmicks in all three areas, offense, defense and special teams to put guys like Joe McKnight, Bilal Powell, Tim Tebow, Chaz Schilens, Lex Hilliard, etc, etc, etc in a competitive football game. Exactly what you'd expect a coaching staff to do with a bunch of drunk monkeys to beat able to compete with a team like Houston. Meanwhile in Buffalo, with a cast of better players......... My hats off to Rex and staff.
  22. I mean, they have maybe the best team in the AFC on the ropes and are at least going all out to beat them. I could live with this type of effort. Gee, you think coaching matters or what? This is a terrific bounceback effort after a dismal performance last week, and a loss of a bunch of key personnel.
  23. Toronto last year? Ahhh, no, the Skins weren't a good team.
  24. Have a Hampton Inn booked near the stadium, but waited too long and it's pretty pricey for mediocrity. Just found a great rate at this hotel, and it always looked decent when I see it online. Anyone ever stay here, and is the parking a pain in the arse? http://www.comfortsuites.com/hotel-buffalo-new_york-NY200?sarea=415858&sname=Buffalo%2C+NY%2C+US&sstate=&scountry=&sradius=&slat=42.890072&slon=-78.872192&schain=&exp=&scity=&sort=&type=&map=n&srp=SGM&amenity=&sstate_country=&city_code=BUF&dateFormat=mm/dd/yy&arrivalDate=09/29/12&departureDate=09/30/12&nroom=1&nadult1=1&nchild1=0&nadult2=&nchild2=&nadult3=&nchild3=&nadult4=&nchild4=&nadult5=&nchild5= Thanks in advance if anyone wants to share their thoughts!
