renewed 3 seats.
-
I have just seen one and have seen them on here before....if you decide to NOT renew your season tickets, there is no reason to put it on here...we do not care...if you make the decision to not renew then do it...you do not need to announce it to the world, as we do not care...are you going to let us know when your decide to cancel your cable, netflix subscription, or your cell phone....ok rant over
Couldn't agree more. Unless you have 3 seats in front of my current seats that I can upgrade to, I don't care one bit about your tickets!

I'm a lifelong fan and will always love the Bills but I'm choosing to not give them my money this season. Here's why:
1. "Cash to cap"- makes good financial sense on paper until it's completely contradicted by a reported $23 million dollar contract being awarded to a 2nd tier defensive lineman. It also made no sense to go public with the whole "cash to cap" approach, it basically sent a message to the outside world of "hey, we're poor so don't come here looking for work cuz we can't pay you much" If the Bills wanted to have this approach then that's fine but why tell the entire world about it at a press conference, why not just say that "we will be running our institution in a fiscally responsible manner and we are looking to build a winner"? No other team has complained as much lately about money issues as the Bills and old Ralphie have.
2. The whole Willis fiasco, why the PHUK is Dick Jauron speaking to the media about a potential Willis trade? Who failed to tell him that it's a taboo subject? And why the PHUK did it ever get so public in the 1st place, now there are articles surfacing about him not knowing basic running plays, etc etc. His value is declining each day. I'd venture a guess and say that the Bills will get a 5th rounder for him or they will have to outright release him because if a trade is rejected he certainly won't want to play for the Bills. It will be a total loss.
3. Marv's approach of building a winning team through the draft is very noble but given that it takes 3-5 years to build a great player then the Bills will always be drafting replacements for their unrestricted free agents who want to go play where there is more money. Building a solid core of veteran players seems impossible under this approach.
I write all this in hopes that I am wrong and that all of these "approaches" work out and prove me to be the dumbest poster ever on TBD, I will renew tickets once I feel that this organization is going in the right direction.
You seem like the optimistic, friendly type that will be sorely missed by your section! Bye.

To all the old regulars of this board, ie: Bill in NYC, Mead, End zone crew, Cablelady et al..
Hi guys! missed talking to you, how ya all been doin? I can't believe this forum has 6000+ members!
That's great! Too bad about 5000 or so have nothing to contribute but alot of verbal diarrhea and negative comments about our beloved Marv Levy and founder Ralph Wilson. I find it deplorable that these "johnny come lately" so-called fans of this team have the unmitigated gaul to question either their motives or intentions where the success of this team is concerned. They are probably too young to remember the Kelly, Thurman, Bruce era of football around there and the spirit that encapsulated Buffalo at that time, but I will say to those little pi#$ ants, " No-one wants a championship in Buffalo more than RW, Marv, or Jim Kelly... NO-ONE!" So before you start lipping off about how Ralph's too cheap, Marv's too stupid, and this team is always mediocre every year...Blah! Blah! Blah! Wait till you've earned that place to open your trap! I turned 38 last week, (Thanks for the Birthday message Mead, I got it) That makes me a 28 year fan of these Bills, and when the guys at work tease me about my many Bills caps, jerseys etc. and for being a Bills fan, I smile and say, "Who is going to appreciate a Buffalo Bills Superbowl victory more than a lifelong Bills fan?"
Wow, another "I'm a bigger fan than you" post. I can't believe this board survived without your insight these last few years!

I think I finally let the beer cans stack up enough in the garage! My wife actually suggested we get a kegerator. I think I will be getting a nice one that you can put in the kitchen, not the franken-rators made out of old refrigerators. Hell I would have been more than happy to put one of those in the basement or garage. Anyone have any suggestions on brand or what to look for?
-
23% increase for section 334! Not too happy, but I guess I can't complain too much since it is still cheaper than parking at foxboro! I also got really lucky and somehow managed to get seats on the 45 yard line in the 9th row with only 3 years of senoirity (in 2004).
I thought we might see a big increase in the # of season ticket holders this offseason, but I'm not sure now. How many people will refuse to renew based on this increase?
-
I heard that right after the season, they would send Bruschi over to heal him, but he is simply too busy right now.
-
I will be renewing mine as soon as I get the letter. Hopefully have convinced several other friends that just came to a game or two to take the plunge too. It is amazing what a great day of food, beer and football will do for the marketing effort! I would not be surprised to see 10,000 more season ticket holders this year compared to last.
-
I think this one would be sweet. Imagine driving up to the Ralph in a big game with Miami and having that plate. How sweet it would be!!!
Unfortunatley somebody would probably steal it and hang it on their wall! I would take a plate like that off my car while in the stadium.

I can kinda understand reading Playboy for the articles, but if you're buying Penthouse I don't think you're the kinda guy who does much reading.
Unfortunately I didn't have any pictures to go along with the story. I saw it on twobillsdrive.com. Perhaps throwing in some clothing challenged girls would have made the article easier to take.

Maybe what he was saying is that, IF the Bills were going to move (and that already was a given), the best place to move would be Toronto (as opposed to LA) because that would be best for Bills fans in Buffalo.
My family has been season ticket holders since day one. After my Dad died 20 years ago, I have continued to be a season ticket holder (even though I live all the way down here in Miami). If anyone had a reason to be offended by a comment regarding moving the Bills, it would be me.
The difference is that I am not going out of my way to be offended by a remark that is not being read by most of you in context. He said that he loves Buffalo. He thanks God about the situation. He wants to make the fans proud. The guy played half the season with three bad ribs and a bum ankle.
You negative nancy keyboard jockies really need to get a life.
From now on I will be sure to check with you before I get offended. After all if you are not offended by this remark I have no right to be.

This quote must have been missed?! It's the best thing I've ever seen him say about Buffalo.
"I got a lotta love for Buffalo," he said. "I thank God for the whole situation. I'm trying to make them proud. I'm trying to do some things here."
---Chknwing, stop the name calling or we might have to run you and your gun toting, NRA lovin' kind of this here board. YEEEHAWWW
You are going to run me off this board? Good one tough guy! I always get a kick out of the guys who make threats on chat board.
Just because Willis makes a good comment, doesn't mean nobody can take issue with other comments. The guy should know that as a member of the Bills, his comment about moving the team to Toronto would be met with anger...no matter what his intent was.

If I remember correctly, this is the same frat that sponsored Springfest every year.
Good times.

Actually I think it was TKE that sponsored Springfest...At least back when I went there. I knew a lot of the Sigma Gamma guys and they were definately not in it for the charity. Nobody Joins a Fraternity to do good deeds. We "adopted a highway" and bowled with the mentally handicapped organization, but it all turned in to a drunken good time. Oswego has always been a town of Townies vs college kids. I couldn't imagine a better place to go to college, or a worse place to live.
-
I don't see the big deal with this, he just said Toronto's a beautiful place and rather than getting another team there it should be the Bills, it's nothing against the fans or Buffalo, he just prefers the city of Toronto to Buffalo, like almost anyone in the world would.
But then when he says: "I got a lotta love for Buffalo," he said. "I thank God for the whole situation. I'm trying to make them proud. I'm trying to do some things here."
He gets no credit for that, nobody's making a new thread about that. He's right about what he said when talking about Bills fans in general: "A true Buffalo fan will tell a Bills player, 'You can't do this, you can't do that.' But once that player performs it's like, 'I told y'all he was the best player.'"
He's got so much love for Buffalo that he thinks they should lose their football team?
Sorry I upset you Mr. Rosenhaus.

*Gets up in Arms! REAL UP IN ARMS! My Arms are so UP!! RAH RAH UP IN ARMS RABBLE RABBLE*
*yawn*
This bores you so much that you just had to read it and post a response?

there is no onebillsdrive.com
Sorry, twobillsdrive.com

What quote?
The story is on twobillsdrive.com. I guess it was a Penthouse inteview. On a side note, 5 pets have recently claimed to be pregnant by Willis.
-
I was not on the bandwagon to run Willis out of town until I read the quote about moving the Bills to Toronto. There is no greater insult he could have hurled at the fans than this. He is a classless idiot who didn't even run for 1000 yards this year.
-
They look delicious!
-
First of all i doubt it since i was with a group of 5 big dudes, 2 of whom play college football, so i doubt you'd even say a word to us and second of all, it's not cool to talk tuff on a internet message board. I'm just saying, when the stadium stands for a big 3rd down, i do too.
Says the guy who brags about telling a woman to F off!

i know a lot of people that come into town for the games from Rochester. and they all suck.
no respect/love for the team. they just see it as a place far enough from home to feel like they can get drunk and do anything they want.
im sure this doesnt speak for ALL rochester fans but the ones i know, and their friends, and their friend's friends all ruin good times.
maybe its just a coincidince.
All the posters I've seen named DrDankenstein are idiots...I'm sure not all DrDankensteins are idiots, just the ones I've seen. Maybe it's just a coincidence.

All season tickets can now be emailed through the bills website. That should solve all these issues!

Just bought a Garmin Nuvi and so far it is great. I am amazed at how many points of interest are pre-programmed into it. I read some poor reviews of the Tom Toms regarding durability and reliability. I really like the compact size of this unit and the fact that you can throw it in your pocket when you leave your car. You can even choose a "pedestrian" option and use it when walking around.

Looks like a new jersey next year!

I got three years out of my authentic Moulds jersey and just one out of my Spikes. Maybe it's time to do one of those Kelly or Thomas throwbacks!
