1. We just chalk this game up as a very young team with lots rookies on the field, with all new coaches and systems, losing to one of (if not the) best teams in the league.....and just leave it at that.

Any way we can do without a week of "everyone sucks" and must go?

C'mon everyone...how bout it?  All together now...."We'll get em next week!"

Is there an anti-tard of the week award. Agree completerly with your post!

  2. No you don't, because he wasn't on a plane or even in a terminal gate when it happened.

    790627

Why was he going through the security checkpoint if he wasn't going to get on the plane then? In all the airports I've been to lately you cannot go through the security checkpoints unless you are boarding a plane. Maybe he just liked the restroom on the other side of the security checkpoint? Sometimes stories leave out the obvious points and expect you to realize things like...People go through airport security to get on a plane!

  3. Doesn't anyone read the article?

The TSA is not an airline.

So it has nothing to do with the fact that he was in an airport getting on a companies plane? I don't remember hearing about the TSA taking away liquids and tweezers in public places. These policies apply only to flying on comercial planes. If a store has a policy on wearing shoes, and a policeman is required to remove a shoeless patron, is it the police that are restricting his right to go barefoot? I understand the article, maybe you should read it again.

  4. Exactly.

Unfortunately there's a lot of people who think like Wacka does (no offense)...  Gladly throw away our rights for a false sense of security. <_<  "Act the way we tell you citizen, it's for your own good."

Our founding fathers are rolling over in their graves.

He has the right to say what he wants, and the airline has the right to kick him of their planes. I don't believe flying is considered a right. When did "freedom of speech" become "freedom from consequences for idiotic speech". If someone comes into your business and starts bad mouthing your product, you can tell him to leave. If he does not leave, you can have him removed.

  5. If this is true, this isn't just a case of TO being obnoxious and self-important.  It means that he has a serious mental illness and deserves better than our scorn.  Suicide isn't funny, and ESPN and the rest of the sports media should do the right thing and lay off the coverage.

Just because he tried to kill himself I have to form a new opinion of him? He is still one of the biggest A holes on the planet. Lets all turn him into a victim and feel sorry for the poor guy!

  6. Yeah, the crowd did suck today.

The Ralph definitely isn't what it used to be.

Nobody was standing up in my section.

    785198

Why do you need to stand to cheer? Please explain the science behind cheering becoming louder when you block the view of people behind you. I get as loud as anyone, but it drives me nuts when some idiot is standing with his back to the game motioning everyone to stand up! I used to be in a section where half the people stood up in the middle of a play and complained when someone asked them to stop ruining their view. I am so much happier to be in a section where people are enthusiastic AND considerate.

  7. I know this was discussed soon after the departure of Drew & the drafting of Roscoe (I did searches on some of the old forums) - but can anybody recommend a place in Buffalo that will change the name plate on a jersey?

I've been looking at my Drew jersey gathering dust in the closet and wouldn't mind changing it to a Parrish one of these days.

One of my friends needed a jersey for Sundays game, and with only 2 days to spare, some white athletic tape and a sharpie did the trick. Before you trash this person, (I know I should not bring anyone to the game that doesn't even have Bills attire) it is a friend of my wife and a chick.

  8. The show never had any other hosts.

My favorite shows right now would have to be 24, Boston Legal, and My Name is Earl.  Denny Crane and Randy are my favorite characters out there.

Once they switched to Joe Rogan and the other loser, The Man Show went downhill quick.

  9. This week the tailgate is at Hammers lot right diagonal from the RV parking lot on Abbott. During the season, lot 1 pole 5 is the place to find TBD people, look for Badolbills blue dodge van, that's how I find em.

Thanks for the info. Is lot 1 the Corolla lot? They seem to have only car names for the lots now. The Corolla lot is the one that backs up to ECC and has the nice comfort station. It is between the busses and the RVs.

  10. Last week, the Bills were 100:1

    Today, they're 60:1

    780471

I put $10 on the Bills for me and my dad before the season started. We have season tickets and usually display them at the tailgate. It is sort of a tradition started when I went to Vegas. So far the winnings have not funded my retirement! The odds at that time were 75:1. The $750 will by a sweet new grill for my tailgate!

  11. It seems that the majority of the posters on this board that go to games meet up for the tailgate. I wouldn't mind wandering over and putting a face to some of the names. I normally tailgate in the Corolla lot (off drive 2). We are in line with the Jim Ball billboard at the ECC end of the lot. We have 2 Bills flags and the American flag flying, you can't miss us. Feel free to stop by and try some of the best ribs at the game. We also have wings, chili and of course beer. Go Bills.

  12. To be fair, Clooney is trying to do a good thing by working with Elie Weisel to bring attention to the situation in Sudan.  People should be paying attention to what is going on over there.

Unfortunately, George Clooney still seems to think that the United Nations and their 7,000 (?) peacekeepers are the answer.  Oh dear....

Is this the same caring guy who made fun of Heston for having Alzhiemers? Oh that's right, he doesn't agree with Heston so he deserves to die from a horrible disease.

    Clooney vs Heston

  13. I don't know this guy from Adam, I do know that many people on this board pile-on obvious topics. This isn't Mike Williams getting cut after being taken 4th in the draft....this is a supposed friend who has died. As horrible an act he may have commited, he himself is dead, and is deserving of the same dignity given to any other who has passed. If you want to get a gold star for being on the "Murder is Bad Bandwagon", then congratulations, some of you have earned it. Disappointment and shock is expected, damnation is a bit too far down the grief track for my liking to be taken sincere at this point.

    774615

Would you feel the same way if it was your family member who was murdered? It's easy to preach forgiveness and understanding when it's someone elses family. Most people would agree that you forfeit your right to a dignified passing when you ruin so many lives on your way out.

  14. ????? What about the Sabres fans who care more about what they are wearing on the ice rather then the team that is wearing them. This entire offseason has been how bad the new jerseys look with the occasional break to announce a resigning, then back to whining about the look of the logo

And yet you are posting in a thread dedicated to the new uniforms.
