Ya know... Elijah Moore and Curtis Samuel were both 2nd round picks and 4.3 speed guys with Shakir as a 4.4 guy. There's plenty of speed and talent between those 3 players. I hope at some point Brady sticks Moore and Samuel on the outside and puts Coleman in the slot. This would be a great week to try that.

Brady lacks any creativity in the passing game.  People act like we have a bunch of undrafted FAs running around at WR and TE.  They may not be world beaters, but we watch other teams scheme average WRs open every week.  Brady needs to focus on learning intricacies of the passing game.  I was really hoping that would have been an improvement made over the off season.

  2. Does anyone else feel like the Bills players take much longer to come back from injuries than other teams?  I can understand being cautious, but at what point do you expect a player to get back on the horse and play even if they may not be 100%?  Obviously we do not know what goes on behind the scenes, and I don't obsessively follow other teams injury situations.  With that said, why would it take Hairston multiple weeks to "learn the defense" as has been said a handful of times.  How much worse could he be than White lining up 15 yards downfield because he can't keep up with anyone?  It's not like the defense is a finely oiled machine that could be thrown off by a couple mistakes.  The defense is an absolute mess with players that should be watching the game from their couch playing meaningful snaps.  I really hope to see Hoecht and Ogunjobi active for this game.  If this defense is so complicated that pros can't figure it out, and they can only sub in over the hill ex Bills players, something needs to change.  Maybe it is time to take off the kid gloves and play football.  (I know I am currently a keyboard warrior sitting at my desk with an aching back).

The other point of contention I have is the incessant need to rotate players at several positions.  It clearly is not working.  Play the best players and only take them off the field if they really need a breather.  If they aren't able to play the majority of the snaps, maybe it is time to look into the conditioning program.

An actual, respected (?), sports journalist that's critical of McBeane?

    I'll get my popcorn ready

Hard to respect a guy that took his ball and went home as soon as he was challenged on TBD.  Timmy writes a good article now and then, but he also has always had a penchant for being negative.

DO NOT overlook the Pats.  This team is not going to roll over.  I want to see the Bills come out and dominate and not step off the gas.  Defense shut down the run.  Cause turnovers.  A full four quarters of superior Bills football!

Anything can happen.  With that said, I really don't get hype with the Pats*.  They are a .500 team with losses to the Raiders and Steelers.  They are an average team at best.  Drake Maye is not the "next Josh Allen" as some have claimed, and has a long way to go before those comparisons should even be considered.  I can't wait for this game and I hope the Bills players are annoyed with the Pats*  ball washing this week and decide to remind them who owns the East.

Please don't use this argument. There are people all over question what the Bills have beat. The Bills are 4-0 and their opponents have 1 win TOTAL so far. 1  WIN. if not for the respect of Josh Allen, Bills would be treated like the Colts prior yesterday.

The Bills are undefeated and the Pats* are .500 with one loss against a 1 win team.  The Bills have won all their games by at least 10 points except for the opener against the Ravens.  The Pats* are not anywhere near as good as the Bills and all this fear and apprehension for the upcoming game makes no sense.

  6. The Patriots* have wins over teams with a combined 1-6 record.  They lost to a bad Raiders team and a mediocre Steelers team.  Why are so many people scared of this game?  The Patriots* are nothing more that an average team (at best) that has won games against the bottom feeders of the league.  Of course, anything can happen on Sunday, but this is not a game that the Bills (or fans) should fear.  It is not a "tough game".  This board is full of spoiled fans that can't just enjoy the fact that the Bills are one of the top teams in the league.  If they win, it is not by a large enough margin.  People would rather talk about the possible mistakes made in past drafts than enjoy the fact the Bills are the only undefeated team in the AFC.  Toughen up cupcakes and enjoy the ride to the 1 seed!  The Bills are going to crush the pats* and demoralize their fans.

  7. The North Jersey Bills Backers will be hosting a pre game pep rally on Saturday, September 13th at our Backer Bar.  If you are coming to town the night before the game, you are welcome to join us.  We will have raffles, a band, Bills themed menu items, Labatt Blue on tap, and a great atmosphere.  We will also be throwing a big tailgate in Lot 26 before the game.  Please feel free to send a message if you have any questions.  Hope to see a lot of TBDers at the events!  Go Bills!
