It'd be nice if Hill had a good old fashion high ankle sprain that kept him out multiple weeks or severely limited it but looks like he dodged a more moderate to serious injury. That offense is not the same without him.

The Beatah is one of the very few players that I would feel no sympathy for if he was injured.  Other than that it is really a shame how many injuries happen each year.  seeing the injury to Tre, for example was heartbreaking.

  2. This whole discussion about the ref giving a warning normally applies when a WR is lined up wide, and far away from the football.  You know, where it might be difficult to tell if you were lined up a little Offside.  Toney was 6 feet from the ball and staring right at it.  The fact that both Mahomes and Reid are acting like this was a borderline call is laughable and embarrassing.  They deserve all of the ridicule that is coming their way.  The only thing missing from their tantrum is a demand to speak to the manager.

the bills do not have the cache of the chiefs.

as much of a scumbag Andy Reid is he didn't use the the 9/11 terrorists as an analogy for teamwork.

If you don't think the league office behind the scenes didn't lose its mind over that you are naive.

The bills are going to have to win 42-17 today because if it is close they are losing.

The league has no issue promoting the hell out of human excrement like Tyreek Hill. A guy that beat his pregnant girlfriend and broke his toddler’s arm. Let’s not pretend the league has any semblance of morals. Any publicity is welcome.

I agree. That last series was a disaster for the officiating crew.  It will not be a good time during the review of their effort.

Why would they care?  When is the last time you heard of am official getting fired or called out by the league.  They even fine players and coaches that dare to question the officiating.  NFL officiating is like a supreme court appointment.  You have the job until your retire or die and no amount of idiotic calls can get you fired.

*Even after you retire, your incompetent spawn can get a job as an official for some reason. (Hocchuli)

  5. If you take away the multiple assaults on his pregnant girlfriend and the fact that he beat his toddler to the point of breaking his arm, you could make a case that Hill isn't that bad.

*Until you realize that this whole thing was set up and the photographer is an idiot if he didn't know he would be fired for taking part.

    Eff this guy.

Put him in a rocket and shoot him to the moon.

Assaulting a pregnant woman?  Zero Tolerance.

He should be cut by the end of the day and you eat the cap number, make a statement that it is not tolerated and move on.

To bad the bills didn't claim derek barnett last week before houston did.

It seemed to work out fine for Tyreek.  NFL keeps the camera on him every chance they get.

....again they pick and choose....if you're a new defensive player you get to play immediately. If you're a new offensive player, you get to sit and spend 4 weeks learning this convoluted offense.  What's the point of even acquiring offensive players mid-season with this organization.

It’s almost like offensive game plans are more difficult to learn or something…

Kind of cherry picking.  Singletary has a whole career of averaging well over 4 yard per carry.  Not surprising a team gives him some carries and he responds.   I don't think he's better than Cooks (unless we are talking about pass blocking) but they are both capable backs.  Now if we would just give a back on our roster some carries.

Fair enough. I never disliked Singletary. My issue is with the fans that use his one good game this season to trash the Bills for some reason.

You're not bright. Look at Singletary's YPC when he was here. As if it means anything anyway.

    OK smart guy.
    Cook’s ypc while with Bills : 5.1

Singletary’s  ypc while with the Bills : 4.7

Singletary is a fine RB. To claim he is better than Cook is an interesting take. But what do I know? I’m apparently not bright.

That's .4 yards more per carry than the starter who averages 3 yards per carry. But don't let the facts get in the way.

Perhaps it's a little concerning that a guy can do what he's never done in 61 games with us, not even close, with a first year everything in game 9.

It’s also 1.3 ypc less than Cook this season.  Singletary had his best game as a pro. Good for him. He has proven to be an average RB throughout his career. But if you want to crown him due to one game, go for it.

SingleCarry was a good back for BUF and the Bills had to let him walk. What they didn’t have to do was draft his recplacemeng in the 2nd round…especially when he isn’t a 3 down threat because his ability in pass pro is so limited (for a team that wants to sling the rock)

I like Cook at a player, just not as an investment. He isn’t moving the needle for this team as much as you would hope.

P.S. YPC is a dangerous statistic!

I always liked singletary.  But he is not a better RB than Cook and he is not a "great" RB as some are stating here.  I don't disagree about drafting a RB in the 2nd round though.

Funny how all these running backs look great after they leave Buffalo. It’s almost if coaching is the problem…

Seriously with this stuff?  He has had one good game since leaving.  Prior to this week he was averaging 26 yards a game and 3.4 ypc.

Fair enough, but look at our schedule coming up.  This gauntlet could, realistically, end our season quickly

The Bills are 1 game behind the AFC leaders. They are 5-3 and no other AFC team has a better record than 6-2.  Can we stop with the impending doom scenarios?!  Of course the Bills could lose a bunch of games and miss the playoffs.  They could also, just as easily, and more likely than a total collapse, win a bunch and take over 1st place in the AFC.

I'm not sure. I suppose it depends on who is available. It's really beyond my level of expertise. Others here probably can answer this question. I just know as a fan the McD era has run it's course.

I think the Bills miss the playoffs if they lose this game. Of course on paper that's not true. Being 5-4 with their schedule and their AFC losses makes it an extremely difficult task. If course, we fans won't give up hope. Realistically, it's a pretty big dagger in the playoffs hopes.

That has never stopped you from offering your opinion before.

  15. Contrary to what the "realist" Bills fans would have you believe, the Bills are not the 2008 Lions and the the Bengals are not the 1999 Rams.  These are 2 good teams and it is crazy to think that there are fans proclaiming that the Bills will be lucky to escape without being blown out.  Toughen up and enjoy the fact that you get to cheer for one of the best teams in the NFL.  Did all of you realists dress up as Eeyore for Halloween?

If that's your measuring stick then what do you make of McD winning success of 44% in the playoffs as a Bills coach?

I would say that a sub .500 playoff record isn't very good.  Just like I would say that Zac Taylor's sub .500 career record is not good.

    how about this

zac Taylor w burrow is better than McD w Allen

You said their coaching is measurably better.  How about this, your opinion is not a measurement of coaching success.  Winning percentage is a measurement of success.
