1. I dunno  :bag:

This could get very ugly and I'm not sure I'd put down cash money just to watch the Bills get stomped.

Bills fans are passionate but they are not stupid.

IF this team starts winning or at least playing entertaining football with some consistency you'll see buts in seats. :P

I'm certainly not judging anyone for not going to the game, just those that complain about the non-sellout but don't go themselves. I can understand why someone may not want to go. Personally there is nothing I enjoy more than getting to the lot at 8 and throwing a great tailgate and watching live football. Even a loss is still better than sitting home!

  2. People like you are the reason why the team might eventually leave...

Support your team and don't be so quick to find fault with those that passionately do.

    Go Bills!!!

    852939

Your statement is so stupid I don't even know where to begin. I have been a season ticket holder for 5 years and cheer as loud as anyone in the stadium. I do not ignore people who ask me to sit down so they can see the game like yourself. Going to one game and annyoying those around you does not make you a passionate fan. If being annoying and obnoxious equates to passionate fan, you must be the biggest TBD fan I know.

  3.

These guys have been to over 200 staright games.

They cook food off car as well..

    852885

I heard they don't stand up enough at games though. The only true way to tell a great fan is to calculate their standing to sitting ratio.

  4. From TBD front page - Niagara Gazette:

"The Bills certainly didn’t play in a vacuum. The Colts, Bears, Cardinals and Raiders couldn’t fit 63,680 fans in their respective stadiums.  The Ralph rocked like a full house Sunday, especially in the game’s deciding moments. Terrence McGee said he could barely tell the crowd was smaller than usual."

Keep in mind ALL of these markets are much larger than Buffalo.

    849402

I would bet that there were just as many Bills fans at this game as any of the sold out ones so far. I did not see many Jags fans in the stands and the stadium has not been louder since the Miami snow game when we all sang let it snow at the end!

  5. I am trying to decide if I want to go, my GF, a Dolphins fan - Loved Marino (so not right) wants to go...I am close to performing a miracle and she is close to converting; she hates the current Phins and roots for the Bills....I am soo close....

I'll prolly grab tickets they are 7000 left...am looking at section 129 right now

    844916

She must be really hot and a great cook in order to overlook the Miami thing!

  6. Thats exactly how I got all my tickets, gotta love Ebay. The tickets to the Titans game i bought 2 for less then face value of 1

chknwing334 - Sounds like quite a spread, Where in the lot will you be again? I can bring an apetite, lol

    844791

We are always in the Corrolla lot in line with the Jim Ball billboard. We have a big blue tent and 4 flags flying (2 bills, American, and POW). Stop by if you are in the area.

  7. How is he different from the Conservative movement that told us for three plus years Iraq was going fine while our troops died for no reason, call veterans cowards for questioning a questionable war, want to stop all abortions while they want to let kids starve who are born to poor mothers and blame gays for 9-11? Hell, OJ is almost normal when compared to Bush, Falwell and Foley.

    844217

That is the all-time most retarded post I have ever seen on this board...And that is saying A Lot!

  8. As for how they should have reacted, I think that, at the very least, after they tazed him the first time, and the kid is lying on the floor shouting "I am not fighting you" and "I am going." the rational thing to do would be to calm him down, reassure him that you are not going to hurt him further, and wait until he can stand up. GO SLOW!  Tell him to lie there calmly.  Don'tmake any aggressive actions. Ask him if he can stand. If he says yes, tell him to stand. Escort him out of the library.

    840888

So as long as I yell "I'm not fighting you", I can punch you without the risk of retaliation or prosecution? God knows you can't say one thing and do the opposite!

  9. I probably was the first one to see this.  Is this how the police treat people today?!  I'll be so nervous once I get pulled over by a cop on my first traffic ticket.  I don't think I'll be able to think straight. :)

    840446

There are times when you think straight?

  10. I don't think anyone is arguing with that, but the point trying to be made is they shouldn't take a free license to Taser everyone who acts irrationally. Was the 6-year in Florida acting irrationally? The elderly woman in Ohio who was sitting in a (hospital?) chair? The mentality that this is a "non-lethal" weapon directly relates to the inclination to use it for quick compliance in lieu of a peaceable resolution.

Maybe I'm just suffering from the ideal that it's their duty to do their utmost to avoid this, whether it takes 10 minutes or 2 hours. That several officers collectively screamed at him "100 times" doesn't make the response correct, measured or appropriate. They did nothing to calm the situation and did a lot to agitate it.

    840445

And while they are taking 2 hours to remove some idiot from a library somebody is waiting for their help. The bottom line is this kid broke the law and continued to break the law by trespassing and resisting arrest. I hope when you need the cops to protect you, they are unable to. Perhaps due to rediculous restrictions placed on them by anti-cop zealots like you.

  11. Very happy with what I saw, but again very upset for the most part how many yards the defence let up...  Things look better at least for 1 week.

Let's hope for 6 more weeks of decent football....

    842084

Thank god you brought everything into perspective... What would the rest of us irrational fans have done otherwise. I was just about to flip some cop cars. Post some more condescending crap for us moron fans though.

  12. And you do?

Beating a 3-6 team only hurts this franchise.  The INT for the TD shows more about Loseman than anything else. Throwing TD's against a bad defense who are falling over themselves?

Unless the Bills are scheduled to play the Texans 16 times next season I suggest Lee Evans gets to know Brady Quinn.

    841999

Just when I thought LSI was the biggest A hole on this topic, you chime in!

  13. So if you are a low wage earner, you are a failure in life, or you made mistakes, huh?

Maybe you made a big mistake by not leaving town when you could, instead choosing to take care of an elderly an invalid family member. (much better to dump that on the government). Or maybe you have a spouse that died of cancer and still have children to raise - really easy to pick up and go to where the wages are, isn't it? Much better to sell the kids for organs and move to the Carolina's.

Yes. These people are failures in life, by failing to follow the free market of labor.

They are stupid !@#$ing dolts, and morally suspect.

    839905

I'm sure some people are victims of circumstance. I don't feel you can base a government policy that forces a company to pay higher wages and benefits on a small minority of low wage earners. It is better to turn to Government programs when you have a situation like you describe instead of forcing changes for all low wage earners. If Government programs did a better job of helping those who are truly in need and weeding out those who take advantage of the system, there would be plenty of money to help the people you describe. It is much easier to blame big bad corporations though.

  14. So, let me get this straight.

You're against illegals coming into the country, yet you are for giving them incentives to stay by allowing companies to hire them?

    840023

I said I don't have a problem with punishing Wal-mart for hiring illegals! What part of theat sentence don't you understand?

  15. Hey! That's a good answer! We can make sure working people don't have enough money to feed and cloth their kids so we can kill zygotes!! Jesus would approve, I'm sure!

    839464

Or they could wait to start a family until they make more than minimum wage and can afford to raise their kids without govrnment assistance like any responsible adult would do.

  16. Yes. The working poor are stupid people. Way to defend the military.  :w00t:

    839878

Show me in my post where I called anyone stupid. Lots of smart people make poor choices in life and are forced to pay for that later in life. Show me someone who worked hard in school or in a trade and I will be willing to bet they do not make minimum wage! I know many unintelligent people who made a nice life for themselves through hard work.

  17. Although what I do find humorous is that the conservatives are so anti-immigration, yet support a company (Walmart) which has a track record of hiring illegal immigrants.

I personally shop at Walmart a decent amount.  They're friggin cheap, perfect for College.

    839839

I don't have a problem with punishing Wal-Mart if they hire illegals. I do have a problem when Government wants to punish them for turning a profit and using them as a scapegoat for someone elses failures in life. If they were truly underpaying their employees, they would not be able to hire workers at the rates they offer. Obviously they are paying plenty because people are lining up to work there. The market should dictate wages, not the Government.

  18. This sounds a bit too much like what Kerry said about people in the military for my tastes.

    839684

So you don't agree that adults making minimum wage are generally the people that did not work hard in school and early employment?

The big difference between what I said and what Kerry said is that I am making the assumption about adults who are forced to work minimum wage jobs, and Kerry made his remarks about people who choose to join the military! I don't put our soldiers and Wal-Mart shelf stockers on the same level. If I offend some 40 year old who is still working the registers at Wal-Mart I don't care. You will also not hear me making some retarded appology for my comments.
