  1. just because you've been a fan doesnt mean you know what you are talking about and it's clearly showing
  2. yes I am like i said, Ralph does not have a history of firing head coaches during the season next time look up some facts before running your mouth
  3. in 1968 Ralph fired Joe Collier early in the season and replaced him with Harvey Johnson in 1986 Ralph fired Hank Bullough midway through the season and replaced him with Marv Levy and hasnt done it since so he fired two coaches during the season in the last 30 seasons and none in the last 22, yeah thats a lot of history maybe you should read a little more before thinking you know what you are talking about if Ralph didnt fire Jauron this offseason he wont be firing him during the season and unless they go 2-14 its a pretty sure bet Jauron will be coaching the Bills again in 2010....Ralph simply doesnt like to pay people that no longer work for him and certainly wont be paying a new head coach when Jauron still has another 2 years gauranteed after this one
  4. how long ago was that history? almost 23 years since the last one wouldnt he have had to do it a little more recently then that to say he has a hirtory of firing head coaches during the season?
  5. why? cant be because he has a history of doing it because he doesnt? and if they are below .400 by week 10 what would be the point of replacing Jauron since when is Shanahan a Ralph Wilson kind of guy? he is too high profile and would cost way more then Ralph is going to pay the next head coach its been a long time since Shanahan won those Super Bowls and hasnt come close to winning one since without Elway so I dont see how you can say he knows how to win a championship. He clearly doesnt know how to build a championship team because with full control in Denver he seemed to field a similar team every year that never improved
  6. the Bills will not fire Jauron during the season no matter what their record is and anyone thinking they will hire Shanahan is kidding themselves...their next coach will be another Jauron or Greg Williams
  7. he's gonna be a nice tight end in the NFL
  8. you have way too much time on your hands
  9. He wanted to keep playing actually but the Bills wanted to go with Collins. I remember there was talk he was going to go to Baltimore and reunite with Ted Marchibroda but he ended up just retiring
  10. you're kidding right? I like what Ive read about the kid but come on
  11. how exactly is Peppers acting like a cry baby? he isnt under contract so why would he show up? why sign the one year tender and risk injury with the possibility of missing out on probably the richest contract in league history
  12. Patriots did it with Vinatieri at one time I believe they obviously were not going to pay Housch so why franchise him and use it on a player they wanted to resign but didnt want to take a chance on losing
  13. i wish the Bills would show some interest in another DT and OLB
  14. its really gonna piss you off when Butler is the Bills starting RT next year...he was the Bills best O-lineman last year and the running game suffered when he was out and not by coincidence performed its best toward the end of the year when he was back in the lineup how about we talk about a playoff birth before talking about the start of a new dynasty....way to go out on a limb saying they will not go winless in the div again this year this Bills draft was good but it certainly was not great....this teams biggest weakness has and will continue to be coaching
  15. nice video, thanks I dont know if it was the angle or not but Levitre looked a little shorter then i would have thought, how the hell did he play tackle in college Nelson runs more like a WR then Hardy does....can the Bills finally have a pass catching TE
  16. I believe he was saying unless teams have a great cover safety they use their LBs to cover TEs
  17. I doubt it because if the Eagles didnt draft Maclin they would have drafted Pettigrew if he was there I think the Bills targeted Wood all along and it worked out because I really like Shawn Nelson so the question is would you rather have Wood and Nelson or Pettigrew and whoever they might have drafted in the 4th round. In my opinion Wood will start and Nelson will get a lot of playing time, I dont think I could say the same for whoever else they might have drafted in the 4th round especially any of the lineman.
  18. Brad Childress is arrogant like Andy Reid and a lot of other coaches that believe the system is more important then any player which is why Andy Reid refuses to go out and get a #1 WR. The one time he did they had an amazing offense with Owens but we all know how that ended. I like Maclain but he is the same type of player as DeSean Jackson who they drafted last year. Unless the Vikes have a great year and win a couple playoff games this will be Brad's last year there
  19. Favre will be a Viking, mark it down
  20. heck of a thread...maybe you could elaborate a little....did you bother to even read the article, this isnt Chris Mortenson's son if thats what you were worried about
  21. really doesnt matter how nice of a guy he is or how much players like him one winning season in 8 years as an NFL head coach is all that needs to be said
  22. that seemed to be what Jauron was hinting to during his interview yesterday....If this is how it works out then they wont have a single player starting at the same position as last year. Say what you want about how they played last year but that is never a good sign. I do like the Guards they drafted and thats where the running game starts
  23. 3 of the players you are referring to were selected after the 4th round and the other is a safety
