  1. some players do but some players sign with the team offering the most....look at TJ Housh, he chose to sign with Seattle over teams like Philly and Minnesota both of which are considered super bowl contenders where Seattle is coming off a horrible season and probably wont even make the playoffs
  2. you failed to mention that this was Lynch's second problem in less then a year
  3. they absolutely would have taken Harrington if the Lions didnt....TD was just horrible i would have to say Joey simply because he was a top 5 pick
  4. what has Jason Campbell done that would make you want him on the Bills? he has been average at best and they are ready to run him out of DC and its no guarantee the current regime will get canned if they dont have a winning record this year....the only reason DJ is still around this year is bc Ralph was dumb enough to sign him to an extension and would rather keep him as head coach then pay him for 3 years so what makes you think that will change after this year? unless this team completely tanks and finishes the season with a 3-13 or 4-12 record i fully expect this regime to stay in place for the 2010 season
  5. did you really quote and respond to yourself?
  6. i am always amazed at some of the things people worry about....its ratings in a game
  7. my biggest concern about the O-line is that they only have 2 returning starters both of which are changing positions
  8. unfortunately Jauron hasnt shown that he is willing to play his guys a lot during the preseason especially when changes have been made....they were in a similar situation a few years ago on the O-line although not with rookies but he didnt play them nearly enough and with his camp cupcake approach they simply didnt look ready when the season started its also a joke this team is done with 2 a days already
  9. did i knock his optimism or the fact that he said he noticed something watching the defensive drills on the first freakin day of camp? how about you try and read the posts and understand what is being said before trying to be the cool guy there isnt anything wrong with optimism but to say you notice a difference in the defense during drills halfway through the first day of camp is ridiculous
  10. they are not even a full day into camp yet and you think you can notice a different attitude by the way they are running their drills...are you freakin kidding me
  11. what you fail to realize is that the average career of an NFL player is 3.5 years so for a lot of players their rookie deal is the only deal they are ever going to sign so they want to get as much out of it as possible
  12. I believe the 4.6 time was what he was listed at when he came out of college when he was clearly not the receiver or in anywhere close the shape he is in today when TO played for the Eagles it was reported he ran a 4.3 and change during a workout which he said at the time was his best time whatever his time is i think its safe to say its better then 4.6
  13. at least your expectations were not unrealistic! I didnt like Hardy before the draft, hated that the Bills took him and like him even less now...the guy lumbers more like a TE then he runs like a WR
  14. its no sure thing DJ will be fired if the Bills dont make the playoffs...we all thought that last year and look what happened...Ralph would rather let him coach then pay him not to and with 2 years left after this year I fully expect DJ to remain the Bills head coach past this season
  15. why? he stinks
  16. it means its hard to win a super bowl and you dont win it with just one aspect of the game, defense and special teams are just as important as offense
  17. it doesnt matter if Jauron is going to continue to have camp cupcake
  18. Ray Lewis is a jacka$$, always has been always will be
  19. wasnt last year a make or break year for DJ as well? how did that turn out people should get used to the idea of DJ as head coach bc Ralph would rather keep him as head coach then fire him and pay him for two years
  20. I dont think there is a chance in he11 McGee is resigned no matter what
  21. the defense was the biggest problem of that first half
  22. that, I agree with which is why I believe all the talk and we will see Whitner at FS because he has something to prove this year and more importantly the Bills feel his coverage skills are being wasted at SS Im sure The Blind Loyalist...I mean The Big Cat will have something to say about that as well
  23. way to add to the conversation cool guy
  24. Any knowledgeable football fan can understand that you dont draft a guy high in the second round at a position that you plan on moving your high priced SS to when you have other holes that need to be filled this team is still weak at DE and with Schobel a question mark coming back from injury and their overall weak pass rush Everette Brown would have been the better pick and a steal in the second round
  25. NFL Live Chat from June 26. http://chat.nfl.com/front/archived_chat/317 I can do both, but I prefer to play back. I wouldn't say it suits me better, but when you play back, you get more opportunities to make big plays many have talked about his lack of big plays so it sounds like he wants to get every opportunity to make big plays and have a big year...sounds to me like he wants and will be playing FS from Rotoworld after the season http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...Nfl&id=3691 The Bills are reportedly considering moving Donte Whitner to free safety full time. Buffalo toyed with this idea last offseason, but nixed it to keep Ko Simpson in the lineup. The Bills believe Whitner's cover skills are wasted playing "in the box," however, and think he'll be a bigger playmaker in center field. so back to my original point, why draft a CB that you plan on moving to FS when you already plan on moving your high salaried SS to FS
