  1. how exactly did he let his Pro Bowl (didnt deserve it) LT walk out of his contract? The Bills absolutely can draft a LT at 11 bc of the first round pick they got in return for that Pro Bowl LT Peters was all about the money and it would have been stupid for the Bills to pay him
  2. I think he means T for Tackle but yes they would be the two players
  3. again, you couldnt post that in one of the many other Pettigrew threads
  4. you couldnt post this in the many other Pettigrew threads?
  5. do you remember how bad the Panthers looked the year before when Delhomme was out? I hate to defend it but they are a better team with him at QB....its probably too much but what extension isnt these days
  6. OL & DL have been important for years and how many of them have been picked in the first round? we all know just bc thats whats more important doesnt mean thats what the Bills are going to pick
  7. Have you ever seen the guy play? he isnt slow as hell (please) but he isnt a speed demon either but how many TE's are? Jason Witten isnt winning many races but the guy is always open, makes plays and is tough to bring down no TDs last year but 9 the previous 3, did you even bother to look at that? 112 receptions for 1450 yards and 9 TDs for his career is pretty good for a college TE especially with all the spread offenses being played now the guy is a big TE who is a very good blocker and can make plays Id love to see the Bills get him at 28 but I dont see him being there
  8. way to go out on a limb there I guarantee the draft is this Saturday
  9. odds are it would probably hurt him just getting a physical
  10. so you think the Bills should trade the first round pick they just got for Peters and invest close to 25 mil in salary for 3 WRs this season?...I'm sure TO would just love the Bills adding another receiver that demands the ball and Boldin would be all for leaving one situation for basically the same situation on a worse team meanwhile they still have glaring holes at OT, DE, TE and LB this isnt fantasy football
  11. that was Butler drafting with one foot out the door drafting Tillman was a classic case of a team deadset on drafting a position and thinking they were going to get Deon Grant and when they didnt they took the next guy they had rated at the position
  12. I was leaning towards Everette Brown from the begining but now Im hoping Oher at 11 and with a little help Pettigrew at 28 or the best available DE....i still think they can get one of the Centers with their second round pick Oher Pettigrew or DE Center that would be a pretty sweet first 3 picks....of course that means it will never happen
  13. Peters is a good not outstanding tackle and in my opinion has always been overrated probably because he was an undrafted TE and the current quality of LT's in the league isnt what it once was I for one am glad he is gone...he is a dog that only cared about money what kind of an idiot says he was thinking about his contract when he got beat
  14. I dont want any part of Raji suspended all of 2007 and stupid enough to fail a drug test at the combine when he knew he was gonna get tested
  15. although I agree with most of what you said Rueben Brown made a pretty big impact and helped rejuvenate the Bills rushing attack at the time McKinnie should have been picked instead of M.Williams
  16. part of the discussion could be the Bills will make the trade as long as Oher is there when Jax is on the clock Jax might have leaked the info as well to try and get some interest from other teams that might want to move up
  17. the most important thing you need to realize is Peters obviously wanted out of Buffalo are you really against this because you dont want to lose a 4th round pick which are usually backups and special teams players that rarely turn into anything more then that...yes you have guys like McGee but more often then not 4th rouners are backups at best....this team needs talent and playmakers and with the 28th pick they have a chance to add that if this were to happen they would get an immediate replacement for Peters in Oher at a much cheaper price and probably not lose much if any in production plus the chance to add a guy like Pettigrew or one of the DE's left on the board
  18. i could be mistaken but i think you can go even further and say they havent drafted many in the third round either with Jonas Jennings being the only O-lineman coming to mind drafted in the 3rd round Mike Williams was such a mistake, McKinnie should have been the pick Brown was solid and helped rejuvenate the Bills running attack at the time Fina was drafted to be a guard and would have been a good one if he got the chane but he was forced to play tackle after the Bills lost Wilford because of that ridiculous loophole
  19. saying its the economy is a copout keeping a head coach after 3 consecutive 7-9 seasons who has one winning season in 8 as a head coach and the anticipation of another losing season is the reason if the Bills made a coaching change to someone like Marty season ticket sales would have been around the same or maybe even increased
  20. Ive seen stars get booed and player injuries get cheered by a lot of fans outside of Philly it just gets blown up because its Philly...wasnt it Cleveland where they threw beer bottles on the field....anyone ever sit in the bleachers at Yankee Stadium? like i said there are idiot fans everywhere, not just Philly Philly fans also gave Jordan a 14 minute standing ovation during his last game and eventually cheered enough to get him back in the game but no one talks about that Red Sox fans are die hard fans but I agree Patriot fans are a bunch of band wagon hoppers...you couldnt find a Patriot fan 10 years ago but no matter what you always seen someone with a Red Sox hat on
  21. why exactly are they the worst fans east of Oakland? is it because someone threw a snowball at santa claus 40 years ago? this is so overblown, there are ahole fans everywhere, not just Philly
  22. i would agree with that if they were going to get a 2nd or even a 3rd in return but is trading one of the best punt returners if not the best in the league for a 4th or 5th round pick worth it? what are they possibly going to get with a 4th or a 5th that will come anywhere close to the production that they will get from Parrish? i understand they have McKelvin and McGee but McKelvin is going to play more corner this year and eventually start and I just dont see the Bills using 2 of their top 2 or 3 corners on returns so I dont think we see McGee returning kicks this year the guy makes just over a mil which is nothing these days and is a game changer...and is it a bad thing having more then one guy that can return? worked out last year
  23. i dont get it either...he averaged 15.3 yards per punt return last year and even better the year before it doesnt matter how many receivers they have because he is worth keeping just a punt returner
  24. trade the 28th pick in the draft for a TE that might play 2 more years...that makes zero sense especially when they have a chance at getting Pettigrew
  25. McNally was severely overrated you rip the Bills but you dont give them credit for seeing his potential and locking him up to an extension early by over paying him in order to keep him under contract once Peters started getting recognition throughout the league and made the Pro bowl he was going to want a new contract no matter what the Bills did the guy held out all summer last year, showed up out of shape and clearly hurt the Bills with his play yet you continue to be a fan...Peters was more about himself then the team which is why I am more then glad he is gone
