I would have went with Oher or Robert Ayers who was probably the best all around DE in this draft and how long has it been since the Bills had a quality all around DE? Phil Hansen maybe Maybin was the last guy I wanted the Bills to pick...undersized one year wonder who doesnt even have a chance of being an every down player until his 3rd year at the earliest...add the fact that he played DE at Penn St and I like the pick even less how does a team that hasnt been to the playoffs in 10 years draft a guy at 11 that wont even start...its not like there is quality ahead of him

wow he looked good in a preaseason game....against one of the worst teams in the league he wont be throwing many of those 48 yard passes when the wind starts kicking in Giants stadium either

wouldnt be so sure of that....Ralph decided to keep DJ instead of paying him for 3 years so what makes you think he wont keep him again instead of paying him for 2? we all thought it was playoffs or bust last year and how did that turn out? fans need to get used to the idea of DJ being head coach of the Bills next year as well because unless they are flat out awful he isnt getting fired

i find it comical how many people actually want the Bills to sign Vick...did any of you guys even watch the guy play or did you just use him on Madden? the fact is Vick never was and never will be a good or even a quality NFL quarterback...he was sacked once every 10 times he dropped back to pass during his last year playing QB...thats horrible for any QB but even worse for a guy that is supposed to be able to make plays with his feet and avoid sacks Vick was never a pocket passer and for the most part could only be an effective passer when he would bootleg left but once teams started just sending a rusher right at him and ignoring the run he couldnt even do that Vick was an incredible athlete with a canon for an arm that just never developed into an NFL QB all this and the guy has been away from the game for two years and brings a lot of bad attention to any team that signs him so why in the hell would the Bills even consider it

i watched Hangartner closely Monday and just rewatched the first quarter and Im simply not impressed. I hope this has more to do with DJ's joke of a camp then his actual play because he didnt get any push in the run game and was pushed back on a few plays yes its preseason but getting a push in the run game and not getting pushed back are basics and things we shouldnt have to worry about with a free agent signed from another team that has played 4 years in the league

from what Ive read Lavar is actually Maybins publicist...go figure

unless someone has pics of him crying im simply not buying it especially when its coming from a clown like Arrington Maybins contract does not hinge on Crabtree signing, there are enough players around him that have signed that a fair deal could get done...Crabtree is hurt and wouldnt be playing right now anyway so it doesnt matter if he is signed now or not if he wanted to be signed and out there he would be, its not like the Bills are lowballing Maybin, he is simply playing the blame game

what has DJ done that hasnt made you lose all faith in him?

DJ doesnt believe with guys getting extra time to work together during preseason

and i wonder why the players love playing for him....couldnt be how easy he is on them could it?

its amazing how the Bills come into the Preseason every year and play like this is the first time they are hitting or even in pads but their opponents always look like they've been hitting for weeks

maybe thats the point....everyone will prepare for that and they will run something else from the same formation if it also holds the punt rush for even a split second then it was worth it

standing your ground and not getting pushed back has nothing to do with them gelling
